Fiction of all shapes and sizes, non-fiction from gardening and sustainable cooking to local interest and historical accounts, and a whole children's section in the back. The staff clearly enjoy reading and keep up-to-date on the local literary scene. The store is well-stocked with all the latest award-winners and bestsellers. But they're also clearly dedicated to supplying and supporting well-written books on a variety of subjects. Due to the layout of the store, they can't host events--so they pair up with the Courtenay Public Library located 1 block away. What an awesome team supporting local literature and the reading community of the Comox Valley.

I opened my first library card and was so surprised to see how much the library has to offer. It's not just about your traditional book. There is an entire electronic side to this institution. You can now download books, music, movies and learn how to speak other languages with their version of Rosetta Stone. There are many people who don't have computers at home, not yo worry stop into the library. They have multiple computers you can use and staff members willing to help you. Are you looking for your favorite magazine but don't have funds to buy it? Stop on in the library and you may just find what your looking for in their collection.
