As a parent I am very grateful for Musical Beginnings, they have been just what I was searching for to give my daughter a place to showcase her love for both Music and Art. My daughter has taken singing class (which she loved!) and is currently enrolled in guitar lessons. She practices continually and I am so excited to see her so excited about what she is learning, we are thinking of adding drum lessons as well! The same daughter also took summer Art Camp from Miss Kirstin, and I was so impressed not only with the quality and level of instruction she received but also with how personally caring and thoughtful Miss Kirstin was to all the students. She even taught them how to make their own canvases! As I said, I am so grateful because unlike my other daughter who is all sports, sports and sports, Tabitha could care less about sports and I struggled to find an extra curricular activity that piqued her interest. I have brought my 2 children here for over 10 years. We started in the toddler program and now they are both in piano lessons. First of all the teachers are fantastic. They not only know how to teach they absolutely encourage and inspire my children. They can not wait for their lessons each week. In addition the office staff is top notch. Very professional and helpful. Scheduling makeup classes are easy and painless. Recitals are so well organized and professional. We invite family and friends and we do not have to pay anything extra. The staff goes out of their way to welcome us every time we come in the door which makes us feel special. Rates are very reasonable for the quality of the lessons and all the extra perks you just don't find anywhere else. This place is superior on so many levels. Highly recommended! read more

This is an entry level facility for music instruction. Advancement can be slow as there is high turnover with the instruction staff, which we experienced. The instructors are pleasant people but the management appears to lack any formal business education. Everything is difficult with them. We were charged for entire months, even when they elect to close for various weeks during the year. I didn't care for their "registration" fee, which is a nuisance the first time and downright aggravating each additional time they charge you following summer break for example. I have experience with exceptionally talented instructors, including one with a PH.D. in music, I can assure you that this facility is on the lower end of the overall quality spectrum. I would not recommend sending your child here for music instruction. read more

I have been wanting to take lessons for a long time. As an adult, having never played any instruments, I was very hesitant and self-conscious. I finally got the courage to sign up for lessons. I am taking voice and learning some piano on the side. Since beginning my lessons, my confidence in my singing has soared. I can actually say with my head held high, I can sing well! My instructor has taught me a lot, but most importantly, has given me the confidence! I love going to my lessons! They give me something to look forward after a long work week. This is a special place. My children have taken lessons here for almost two years and I've seen huge improvements in their musicianship. The facility is clean and pleasant. The staff are gracious and helpful and the teachers are fantastic! Each are multi-talented, capable of teaching multiple instruments and areas of music and performance. What's neat too is the range of instruction. Many students come here as total beginners - children and adults alike, but many students are wonderfully advanced and have taken lessons here for years! The teachers are professionals, capable of taking the students as far as they want to go in their instruction. They provide instrumental music, voice & Glee, drama and art instruction! My daughter loves to sing, but her confidence on stage was just not there. She was also extremely shy. I signed her up for voice lessons in hopes to build her confidence. This company went above and beyond our expectations. Her confidence has exploded. She was also to join a rock band and is a lead singer. This company are so easy to work with. I love my guitar lessons and especially my teacher Miss Anna! My favorite thing about my lesson is how Miss Anna helps me learn to play my favorite singers song.
