It was a complicated project because some demolition had to happen so she could access the full width of the flooring, and I am also still living in the home, and have three cats that needed to be worked around. Communication was key and she was very proactive about steps and timelines. She was also very kind to my cats (one loved to sit and watch her work and was kind of obnoxious about it). The end result looks amazing and is respectful of the 150 year old floors in the home. Kim has an artistic eye and found a perfect balance between new maple in the additions to the home and the 150 year old flooring in the original footprint of the home, with great transitions between each! The owner told me she would guarantee her work in the future. When she inspected she could not determine a cause. I had 2 other professionals wood floor installers inspect and both told me the floor was not properly cleaned before the finish was applied. I have truly been taken advantage of and would discourage others from using a service that does no stand behind their work.
