The food is passable, with cuisines from Asia, India, Japan and Italy (I think) - all watered-down looking and not particularly enticing. Lots of stuff sitting in heat pans all day. Most of the businesses have their own seating areas but very little character to distinguish between them. I wanted something light and not sitting in a bath of hot water so I had sushi. The employees there didn't look very Japanese and weren't the most pleasant to deal with but it was like that in much of the city. The roll was skimpy but the drink was delicious and the best thing about my experience. TBH I gave an extra star because they had a nice washroom.

At the end, you pay the balance you've stacked up and leave. I don't get this. Is it to appear trendy and cutting edge? Does it subliminally encourage people to spend more cash? Whatever the reason, I think the inconvenience of it outweighs it, but they seem to be successful, so what do I know. I ordered the salami pizza, an order of bruschetta, and tiramisu. The pizza was ok - I was impressed at the speed with which it was done. The bruschetta was AWESOME and I super appreciated that they had a small order - two pieces of bread with delicious tomatoe-y goodness atop it. If it were any bigger, I wouldn't have had it to accompany my food. Finally, the tiramisu was a FANTASTIC size, pre-made in a low-ball glass and tasted fresh enough. My whole meal was relatively inexpensive and I left full and satisfied!
