I bowled into this place looking like a dark ages beggar in old boots, thermals, a tatty scarf and dark bulky hood and coat. I fell to my knees and cried "Sanctuary!" before realising that only applies to churches and asking the guy behind the counter to help me. Far from shying away in horror at my ravaged countenance he politely and calmly informed me of all my options, explained the difference between certain drugs, took a stab at the oft-cynical and greedy nature of the pharmaceutical industry and sent me on my way with a pocket of over-the-counter drugs designed to help get me back on my feet. If it wasn't certain to have infected him I would've kissed the guy.

The main pharmacist, Catherine, is very organised and runs the place like a tight ship. The pharmacy keeps keeps scrips on file, which is convenient for those who are forgetful and/or disorganised. The pharmacy is large and stocks a wide variety of products. I switched over to Village Pharmacy as they have a good system and I feel like I am in safe hands. All the pharmacists and assistants are very capable, which is essential in the medical industry.

They stock Pharmacy health generic brands - great products which have exactly the same ingredients but cost less than most major brands. A little extra dosh for you pocket :D. Local Store is a trendy urban fashion store, which based on the number of skateboards on dale is aiming at a skater market, I am not a skater but I would buy clothes there. I just bought an awesome t-shirt from Insight's Garage Artist's range, designed by Japanese artist Yaki Allen a white shirt featuring a black hole design, very cool. They also have the coolest headphones and ear-plugs, I have seen on sale in Sydney, I particularly like a pair of 80's style smaller wire headphones but with a ultra-modern design and in blue, red and yellow colour (that's three colours in one pair, not three separate colours, bit out of my price range, but everyone needs a dream.

The store looked relatively clean but their were no employees on the floor except the cash register. I guess parents know what they need and don't really need any guidance from the store employees. They have ample parking including garage parking. The store was packed with inventory and looked to be pretty busy with a line at check out. Once again only one check out counter was operating so looks like they are operating with a minimum base of employees. 4 star store for all the needs of your babies.

It was absolutely the best experience I've ever had visiting a shoe store. Beth served me, and she really knew her stuff! When I told her about my particular foot issues she knew exactly what I needed and brought me out a couple of shoe options to try on and made sure the fit was accurate for each. Even though the other staff member was also tied up and there were a couple waiting to be served Beth totally didn't rush me and wanted me to be totally happy with my purchase; she even talked about physio options with me since that's her background. There's a treadmill in-store so staff can examine your gait/strike, and they also work with their own podiatrists. I walked away with a pair of New Balance and have never been so happy with a sports shoe! Even though they are pretty dang ugly (honestly who designs these things) I actually look forward to wearing them. I wish I'd come here years ago!
