I took the one on the far left, The gas price was cheaper than what I saw in Markham by two cents. It seemed appealing to take advantage of this cheaper price here. This gas station was clean. I managed to get rid of an empty drink cup by using the garbage receptacle nearby. I had no problem paying at the pump. I inserted my Petro Points card, followed by my 407 ETR savings card, and then my credit card. I then had the gas pumping hands-free while I used a squeegee on my car's back windshield. I didn't go into the Neighbours convenience store. I saw many folks going in, including a TTC bus driver. He had parked his bus on Bathurst Street, right behind where I was. I thought, at first, that he was a staffer at the store. The man inside Neighbours and the TTC driver were both wearing red polo shirts. The Neighbours staffer looked out the window often. It was a bit creepy after a while. Either he was bored out of his mind or was tracking everyone. It's a good gas station to fill up your car's gas tank. My back windshield looks clean! I had no problems leaving the gas station afterwards to resume my northbound trip up Bathurst. (318)

Recently, my 7-Eleven app has been warning me that my 7Rewards points were about to expire. My last…read moreday to maintain my points with a purchase was last Thursday. My issue with visiting a 7-Eleven is that there isn't one close by where I live. Markham no longer has a store. The closest one by my home is in Pickering. It's not exactly five minutes away! On weekends, I often travel along Rutherford Road. There are two 7-Eleven stores on this road that bookend Highway 400. I decided to try the first one that I hit after work going eastbound last Thursday night, which was this one. There is plenty of parking. I managed to back into a spot. This store has a gas station. Prices are cheaper in this area than the GTA in general. There were lots of pumps available at 7:30 pm. I walked in and looked at the beverages in the fridge. There were great deals on pop, which I love. There's a new orange sorbet Coke. I stood there looking longingly and happily at the bottles. A orange Coke float in a bottle was a dream to me. I snapped out of my trance and got two. The cashier at the counter was great. I paid and had my 7Rewards barcode scanned on my app. Points earned and preserved. Mission accomplished! I grabbed my cold bottles of pop and cheerfully headed back to my car. The chicken wings and nuggets smelled so good. Had I not had dinner, I would have bought some. The hot foods are pretty good at 7-Eleven if you're in a rush and need to get rid of your hunger pangs. I'd come back here again. I like this 7-Eleven. Traffic does get crazy in this area, as there are box stores five minutes away. It's also roughly ten minutes away from Vaughan Mills and Canada's Wonderland. (364)

It has all the conveniences of your everyday 7-11 PLUS a gas bar that is very competitive in their gas price in the RH area. Tips: - Collect PC Optimum points when you fuel your car…read more - This gas station has a Circle K with a built-in Tim Hortons. I commute to work between Mississauga and Markham. This distance is roughly 50 km. It's a good thing that I like to drive. The problem can be how horrific the congestion is to get to and from destinations. One positive is that when I need to fuel my car, I get a cross-section of gas prices as I cut through the greater Toronto area. Naturally, some areas have prices that are cheaper than others. A weird phenomenon is that as the day progresses, gas prices fall until midnight. When it's a new day, prices go up. I had dinner in Vaughan, which tends to have the best gas prices. Gas was going for 120.9 cents a litre, which was a lot better than when I commuted to work earlier in the day at 130.9 cents a litre. I was heading home. As I left Vaughan, gas prices started to creep up. 122.4. 124.3. 129.5. Ugh! I was in the left lane heading eastbound on Highway 7. I was stopped at a light and noticed this Esso station. Gas was at 120.9. It was time to fuel my car. I looked and it was safe to pull into the left turn lane and turn onto Thornhill Woods Drive. I then made a right turn into this gas station. I'd say that half the pumps had customers fuelling their vehicles. I parked next to an available gas pump and got out of the car. The forecast called for wind gusts. I felt them as approached the gas pump. I had a hoodie on. Thank goodness for the hood part that kept me warm! I entered my phone number associated with my PC Optimum card on the screen. You get a point for each dollar that you spend on gas. I then tapped my credit card to pay for the gas in advance. I then selected the gas that I wanted and had the pump do its thing. It was nice to have hands-free fuelling on such a windy evening. This gas station was clean and bright. I had some garbage to dispose of and found the garbage receptacle. This Esso has a Circle K convenience store with a Tim Hortons store inside. The former was nice. I went to check it out and bought a couple of drinks. I saw the donuts at Timmy's, but I didn't get anything. It was fairly dark by the time that I had completed fuelling my car. In front of me looked like an air pump that had a garbage bag over it. Behind it was a vacuum that looked like it was functional. I liked fuelling my car here for the first time. When I'm in the area and need gas for my car at a decent price, this gas station is a good one. (400)

Tip: Collect Journie points towards discounts and free goods…read more This Pioneer gas station used to be Husky. It will take a while for all Husky gas stations to convert to Pioneer ones. I have always liked fuelling my car here. This gas station is located on the northwest corner of Highway 7 and North Rivermede Road. It's across the street for a McDonald's restaurant that I like. Both are on the quieter side of the intersection. The southern part is where Centre Street starts. On Friday, I was heading to Mississauga. The low fuel indicator on my dashboard lit up. I remembered this gas station on my route. I had 24 km left before my gas tank would run empty. When you're driving westbound on Highway 7, you can either turn right at North Rivermede Road and do a left u-turn, followed by a right turn to get to this Pioneer. Alternatively, you can drive past the intersection and hang a right. I did the former. This station is always clean. I was at pump 7, which also has diesel. I entered my phone number associated with my Journie points. I then tapped my credit card and began fuelling my car. I let it automatically do it as I planned the next phase of installing my Sirium XM antenna. To make a long story much shorter, the car dealership gave my car a complimentary wash after servicing. The rollers took out my antenna. I got a replacement. Before I left home, I mounted my antenna to the back part of my car's roof and fed the cable under the weather seal of my trunk. I connected it to my satellite receiver to test the audio and reception. It was great! After I was done filling up my car's gas tank with fuel, I drove over to the parking area just behind the convenience store and seated the antenna cable under the weather seal, and then fed the cable behind the backseat. I then connected the antenna to my receiver again. I still need to finish running the cable under the carpet. The cable is 23 feet long and there's a LOT of slack. At least the cable isn't dangling down by back windshield! I'd guess that there are roughly six parking spots. I liked that I could work on running this cable and no one cared. It was nice. I have yet to visit the convenience store. I haven't had a need to go, but I should check it out someday. This visit got me 300 Aeroplan miles. I convert my Journie rewards to Aeroplan miles automatically. I now have 7 cents off per litre the next time I fuel at any Pioneer. Yay! I like saving on gas. Pioneer with its Journie points has a decent program going on, especially these days. There are some weekends that Journie does ten cents off each litre of gas that you pump into your vehicle. It's great. It feels like you're getting away with murder. It was great stopping by to attend to my car running on almost empty and my working on my antenna side project. (179)

I have always been curious about the convenience store on CoCo's left side when you're staring right at it. Time 2 Time Convenience is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, according to the sign. It's perfect for students at York University who need something at odd hours of the day. I saw a mini van in front of the convenience store. A man was offloading bags of milk. After fetching my bubble tea at CoCo, I went into the convenience store. I was curious. I do like this store. Ice cream bars and Mr Freeze greeted me. It took me back to being a kid visiting my local convenience store. Sadly, prices aren't the same! What I like about this store is the selection of pop. When I see A&W cream soda, Dr Pepper strawberries and cream, and Crush in peach, grapefruit, and strawberry, I know that I've hit a gem of a store. I grabbed a bottle of Dr Pepper strawberries and cream. I didn't bother looking at how much sugar was in this beverage and how quickly I'd crash from a sugar high. I wanted the drink. This store also has patties in mild and spicy beef, chicken, and veggie. They looked good. Each patties goes for $2. I asked if I could get a mild beef. The man who was hauling milk into the store said that they weren't quite ready from the oven. He offered to microwave one. I decided to go with the spicy beef. I said that patties aren't as yummy nuked. He agreed. I paid for my goods. I rarely have cash on hand. This place charges 25 cents if you use your debit card to pay. If you're using a credit card, you get charged 75 cents for the transaction. A quarter didn't seem horrific. I tapped and was good. I thanked the woman behind the plexiglass. She wished me a nice evening. I reciprocated and headed to my car with bubble tea, pop, and a patty. I ate my patty in my car. The sleeve had a lot of information. If you want to sleep soundly, read it. My patty was yummy. It wasn't all that spicy. The beef was yummy. The dough part was perfect. I had my pop as I drove home. It does taste like strawberries and cream mixed in with regular Dr Pepper. It was enjoyable. I like this store. I'm glad that I dropped by to check it out. I'll be back. (187)
