Changing it to a 2 star because the guy who typically cuts my hair was fired, which normally wouldn't warrant a lower rating, but the owner, Ant, told my my regular barber, Brandon, wasn't working today. I would've waited, but I needed the cut today. I proceeded with Ant even though he's pretty hit or miss when he cuts me.... Usually miss. This time he really butchered it. I asked multiple times for a skin fade which he assured me he did (he didn't). I also asked him to be a little more even on the top, ie, don't cut it so the hair on the right side of my head is significantly longer than the left. I even explained it's because I prefer the more spiked combed look rather than slick which is what that gives me... he assured me he wouldn't do it, then proceeded to do it. Luckily, I have Brandon's number, so I was able to get ahold of him, found out from him that he doesn't work at Vaughn's anymore, and scheduled a cut with him so I can get this fixed. read more

Haven't got my hair professionally cut in 12 years and decided to go to the place I went to as a kid. There were four barbers on staff and I only waited for about 5 minutes before I was able to get a seat. The shop has a very basic look and feel to it. Nothing extravagant or flashy. I was very happy with my hair cut. It was very shocking to see myself with an actual haircut instead of just being bald like I have been for so long. Hair cut was $14 which is lower than most places now in days for having a nice modern cut. I would definitely go back. read more

Terrible experience. I grew up going here and wanted to bring my son for his first cut . I will admit he was alittle bothered and throwing a little fit but we stayed to try to calm him. The workers said nothing. When it was his turn I went to put him up and the guy refused. So we waited for nothing. The common courtesy to let us know of a refusal before hand is the absolute least they could do. It's ok though they lost our money but hopefully this helps the next person with kids steer clearly because it's no longer kid friendly read more
