This place confused me. Vevo has a collection of clothes, artwork and crafts, and I couldn't quite get a vibe on the place. There were formal dresses, there was Parisian artwork, there were stuffed fabric ducks? Is it because I'm from the South that I didn't get the scene? Is it art and craft, is it fashion, I don't know. Out the front I saw these cool eclectic skirts and I thought ooh, what's in here. But the clothes inside were very bright and all prints and just not so much a style for me.
Up the stairs in the back area there was some interesting artwork, and a raised stand with a dress on it that was covered in fairy lights. The display was very Tim Burton. I felt disoriented and left without checking out the prices. I get the combined fashion and art gallery concept but for me the store felt unfinished, but perhaps they're still finding their feet and their style will become clearer in time. read more
