I've been going to Vegan Korner for years now, and it's always been one of my go to spots when I'm in the mood for something different. It's a small vegan pizza shop, but the food has always been solid. I'm not even vegan, and I'll be honest the pizza and overall menu are actually pretty good for vegan food. They do a great job with flavor, and it never feels like you're missing out on much. Everything I've tried over the years has been consistent and satisfying. Customer service has always been on point too. The staff is friendly, chill, and they make the experience easy every time I go in. One thing to keep in mind, they almost always have a wait time, so you definitely need to be patient. It's not the kind of spot where you're in and out quick, but the food usually makes it worth it. The only downside for me is the pricing. Ever since they switched locations, the prices have gone up quite a bit. It's definitely noticeable, especially if you've been going there as long as I have. That being said, I still find myself coming back. The jalapeño poppers are probably my favorite thing on the menu, they're so good, especially with their vegan ranch. If you do decide to check it out, just go in open minded. It is vegan pizza, so it's not going to taste exactly like your usual pizza, but for what it is, it's really good and definitely satisfying. Hands down THE BEST vegan pizza I have ever had. I've tried many other places before and this little gem we found on Yelp was amazing and I'm glad we came. It's a small mom and pop location--but those are the best spots! We placed the order upon arrival since it was our first time. The gentleman who helped us told us it would be a long wait, but it honestly wasn't that long at all. We got our food in a decent time. Although the portion was okay, the taste and flavor was there! The taste was most important more than anything. The price was reasonable imo considering it's a sourced ingredients. The food was really good! The cashier who helped us was very nice and he accommodated everything we requested. Very friendly guy. Too bad the place is a bit far or I would keep coming back. Food Go the chicken alfredo pizza and that will be in my dreams. The crust was perfectly fluffy and the pizza so good. The sauce was so rice, but we ate the entire thing in one sitting. The wings were cooked well and I liked that they gave you different flavors. I live in a wing sauce divided household so having BBQ and buffalo is always a good way to get us. Service Fast and easy. We did order ahead, but they were really nice and greeted us. The food was ready to go and they did validate that 50/50 on their wings was the way to go. A tiny store in an unassuming shopping complex. I ordered the vegan wings which are made with BeLeaf brand of soy meat. They looked like actual wings, using a sugar cane stick to replace the bone. They have 4 sauces and can do 50/50 (3 of each) so I tried the lemon pepper and buffalo. The lemon pepper was my favorite but 4 wings was plenty for 1 person. This is $15 worth of cauliflower wings. Just an FYI for anyone who wants to order. There is no picture on their app or site displaying what the serving size looks like and of course on their Instagram, they advertise full pieces. There are maybe 4 regular sized cauliflower and the rest is broken off, TINY pieces... for almost $16. I would not order this again. They weren't worth it which is unfortunate because they were pretty good. I cannot justify paying that for crumbs though, just go to another restaurant and get a whole basket worth for less or make them at home for FAR less. So, the food here is so good, we just ate it two nights ago, and then got it again tonight. My dad is a meat eater that will come here without me, just for the pasta, so that says it all! We've tried the chicken Alfredo pasta, chicken Alfredo pizza, pesto Mediterranean pizza, wings, bbq pizza, jalapeño poppers, seasoned fries, and raw carrot cake. By far, the best items out of everything we have tried are the chicken penne Alfredo pasta and the veggie pizza. The jalapeño poppers are excellent, but warning, very spicy. The seasoned fries are also very good, but inconsistent. The first time was very spicy (how we wanted them) and second time was not spicy at all. If ordering food here, we'd like it to taste the same each time. I likely wouldn't get the wings again, as I've tried better (and the mango habanero was more sweet than spicy). I also dropped a star, as I really don't like that the staff is making the food with their bare hands and no gloves, while going back and forth from the register touching cards and money, straight to then making our pizzas. And, as you can see from the photos, we were just given charcoal burnt chocolate chip cookies. We knew they were burnt from the second we opened the box, just based on the smell, and I can't believe the staff didn't know they were burnt having them come straight out of the oven. I called as a first-time customer to place an order and asked a few questions about the menu, including the ingredients in the cauliflower crust, topping options, and what they recommend. In Los Angeles, that's a normal part of ordering from a new restaurant. The call was automatically disconnected at 8 minutes. When I called back, I was told, "we don't feel comfortable taking your order," and the call was ended. No explanation was provided, and no attempt was made to assist. The pizza here is solid! My favorite is the meat lovers pizza. The vegan ham (or bacon..?) that they use is to die for. It has fat marbling and gets crispy and melts in your mouth. The cheese isn't quite as gooey as dairy cheese-- it's a little more liquidy, but it's mild and tastes great. Crust is fluffy and on the thinner side. I tried the pasta once, but I didn't think it was worth the price. It tasted fine, but like something I could whip up at home in 10 minutes myself. There wasn't enough protein in it either in my opinion. Definitely watch their social media and app for deals. They had 16" 2 topping pizza for $10 deal not too long ago which was awesome! Vegan Korner is our go to for vegan pizza in the IE and we absolutely love it. We try to order from here as much as possible. Prices did go up recently, but the pizza is well worth it. Plus, I'm always happy to support a small local vegan business. Also, if you use their app, which I think has one of the friendlies UIs, you can earn points for rewards and find menu specials. The food was as so good. I wanted a beyond burger but they were out so I got the chicken Alfredo and it had so much flavor. We got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and didn't know it came with fries. It really hurts to write this negative review on a struggling Vegan restaurant. I have previously voiced my concerns and opinions with the owner, regarding His Micro slicing of pizza toppings. I never seen any other Pizza restaurant do this? I just recently talked with him directly and mentioned that I'm a vegan Home Chef ( since 2003), he sarcastically asked " how many restaurants do I own? I could not understand is mentality on micro slicing veggies? He wanted to charge double on toppings for normal sliced pieces, even though it would take more time to prepare? My husband and I cannot recommend Vegan Korner enough! He's been vegan for a few years now, while I'm not, and although I'm always open to trying vegan food when it comes to vegan dairy, I've always been hesitant. But wow, Vegan Korner completely blew me away! We treat ourselves to their food every so often since it is a little pricey but it never disappoints. The sourdough crust is incredible, perfectly chewy with great flavor. Their protein substitutes are super tasty, and I still can't believe how good the vegan cheese is! As someone who loves BBQ chicken pizza, I was skeptical, but theirs is absolutely delicious. The mango habanero and lemon pepper wings are also pretty good. As someone who is not vegan, this local place has been fun to try out. The jalapeño poppers are sooo good! The cheese and spice level are always perfect. I've tried other things on the menu and have enjoyed their cheese bread and pizzas but what brings me back are the jalapeño poppers. There have been some changes within the last couple of years, and it may be due to inflation or the prices of vegan products that I am unfamiliar with, but I was definitely disappointed to see only 6 jalapeño poppers in my order for $20.
