Our wedding planner specifically recommended them because they are consistently excellent, and that was absolutely our experience. One of the things that stood out most was how flexible and accommodating they were with customization. I had some very specific and slightly niche ideas for props, including certain hats and custom sign text that I had never really seen done before, and they delivered on every single detail. It made everything feel really personalized to us, which I loved. We did a traditional photo booth during the main reception, but for cocktail hour we added their roaming photo booth, and I HIGHLY recommend doing this. It was such a smart way to capture that in-between time when people are mingling. Guests didn't have to choose between standing in line for photos or enjoying the party. The roaming setup captures a similar look but in a more candid, single-photo format that gets delivered digitally, and it ended up being some of my favorite content from the day. Our attendant, Andrew, was amazing. He brought such great energy and did such a good job engaging guests and getting people involved without ever being pushy or intrusive. Multiple guests came up to me to say how much they loved him, which says a lot. Between the setup, the props, the overall experience, and the quality of the photos, everything was flawless. Ekada Photobooth's prints are top notch and they customized the quantity of prints per session so that 1) everyone would have a copy and 2) they printed off an extra copy of every strip for me. One of my favorite memories of our wedding day was hanging out with my MOH after the wedding and looking at her photo strips and laughing/crying over all the funny moments. She has had experience both in front of and behind the camera and ensures that her customers feel comfortable throughout the planning process and during their event. Savannah has also familiarized herself with a large demographic of customers, which include children's parties, bachelorette, birthday, corporate, and weddings. She always aims to impress and goes above and beyond for her customers. For example, she had purchased extra props to use for our NYE photobooth despite my last minute request. In addition, Savannah is continually updating her photo booth templates and backdrops so her customers have a variety of options to choose from to make their event as customizable as possible. With regards to the photo booth itself, the setup is quite fast and simple. It does not take up as much space as other photo booths I've seen. In addition, the quality of the photos are incomparable. A concern I had from prior photo booth experiences was the printing time. Ekada Photobooth not only eliminates this wait time (photo strips are printed within seconds!), but it offers GIF images to be sent directly to your phone through SMS text. Doug, the DJ, was our one main point of contact, which streamlined the entire process and alleviated loads of stress. He was very professional, trustworthy and responded to my emails quickly. As a DJ and MC, he did a fantastic job of transitioning from event to event. He was also entertaining and understood our taste in music. As for photo and video, the video team was easy to work with and made us feel comfortable. My wedding party adored the photographer, Yev. He was hilarious, but very serious about his work. He wanted to make sure we got the best shots. I would have typically waited to see our photos before leaving a rave review, but I'm more than certain we'll love them. Will upload some once they're ready :) Finally, there was also a day-of assistant/coordinator (I believe her name was Kat?), but she was amazing. When we were told she would be coming along, we just thought she would be assisting the production team. But she was by my side the entire time -- she helped arrange items and backgrounds in photos, fix my train and veil, hold my bouquet from time to time, help get spilled red wine off my dress and so much more. My phone also decided to power off just minutes before walking down the aisle and my vows were on it. As I began to freak out, she pulled out a bunch of chargers and played around with the phone until it turned back on. Ugh, I am so grateful she was there. Anyway, this company really deserves the 5-star Yelp rating. Go with them. You'll be in good hands.
