She clearly has a special touch with dogs, and it shows in both her care and attention to detail. Leo's cut is perfect -- neat, stylish, and exactly what I asked for. He looks like a little show dog now, and I can tell he feels great too! Chris even managed to keep his coat soft and fluffy while trimming everything to a very manageable length. We adopted a tiny Yorkshire Terrier. We brought our small Cavalier in to meet with her and everything seemed ok so we took the new Yorkie home. She was a delightful little dog as it came from an older person who had passed away. We were told the dog was 2 different ages because they don't seem to keep good records but that didn't matter to us. They told us she wasn't potty trained, but she absolutely was. My husband especially attached to her very quickly. About the third day, we noticed that she was being aggressive about her food which is something we can deal with. We took her to our vet and started shots for her just to make sure she was covered. She was also added to our pet insurance. We purchased her a nice harness and leash. We put her on Dr Marty's food which she went bonkers for. Right around the fifth day, we noticed that she was attacking our Cavalier. She bit her on four occasions and on the last time we decided that we could not have her beating up on our Cavi. We decided that she needed to be returned. When we arrived at the shelter, they took the dog and I asked the gentlemen at the desk to keep the money on file and we will try again with a different dog. They agreed. We also said that we would like to donate $100 towards the adoption of the Yorkie so she could find a home quickly since she was such a sweet friendly animal with humans. I spoke with Pat later on the phone and she had no issues refunding the $175 balance. That was weeks ago. No money has ever been sent to us. Our Son gifted us with another Cavalier puppy so we won't be needing another dog. I explained that to Pat and still no money has arrived. We have resigned ourselves to the fact we will never see any money. We had donated food purchased through Amazon prior to help the shelter out. We would have been continued supporters but with the refund not being returned, we have decided never to recommend or deal with this shelter ever again. This is extremely sad.

I stopped by on Tuesday because my French bull dog had a seizure/ anxiety attack to the point he is not using his back legs, he's not eating and has had any bowl movements and pees on himself. he was going into shock and this extremely rude unprofessional lady did not care or try to help or make the situation calm. my dog was going into shock on the floor at this veterinary clinic and she had the nerve to tell me to go get wet napkins myself. not only that I brought in all paper work of my dogs history since we are new clients and she did not bother to even take a look, check us in or add us in the system for future appts. All his records were clear as day on the paper and she didn't want to look at them but had the nerve to tell me with an attitude that my dogs meds are not on the paper and she don't know what she's looking at. If she would've got up off her butt and moved her fingers to look she'd see It on the front page clear as day. I went in an as an emergency and had the worse experience I made that very clear to her. She also tried to intimidate me by staring at me like I was suppose to be scared so I stared right back at her cause wtf is that in a place of business!!!!There was also another older lady as well with glasses that did absolutely nothing to calm the situation down then had the nerve to ask the ride lady sitting on the chair is she was okay. The awesome staff at VCA Mountain Vista…read morearranged for my 4 legged BFF's cremation with Pet Cremation Services and this is my timeline: 9/17/19 - My BFF passes away and heads to the "Rainbow Bridge" in Doggy heaven. 9/24/19 - My BFF is cremated. (I'm informed via the cremation certificate I received with the ashes) 9/26/19 - The vet offices leaves a voicemail that the ashes of my BFF is ready to be picked up. When I pick up the ashes, I'm blown away by everything I received from Pet Cremation Services. The ashes were placed in a nicely decorated tin container with the quotes "Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge" on the cover. I purchased an urn for the bff but this container can definitely work as the final urn. There was a sealed card with an inked paw print and fur. There was a clay paw print in a clear heart shaped plastic container with a sticker that read "Mia left paw prints on my heart" There was a condolences card with flowers and wildflower seeds that you can plant in memory of your pet. There were two letters with information on how to deal with the loss of your beloved pet and a certificate of when your pet was cremated. All these items were in a nice green velvet bag with "Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge" embroidered in gold. The mixed reviews on here were surprising but once again I didn't deal directly with the business so my experience was different. In the end, Pet Cremation Services performed their services ahead of schedule and they went beyond what I expected in terms of the remains I received of Mia. I literally thought I was just receiving a container with her remains. Wherever you decide to cremate your pet, I hope you have the experience I had with Pet Cremation Services. =)
