    Russian pirogies and Cudaki

Great fresh food! Large portions, menu in English at front. Clean bathrooms and near old town. Order the pierogis, we got the Russian ones soooo yummy! Fast service, friendly staff.

    Lunch special. It was delicious!

I've been here twice and both times it was great! They do a lunch special and the food is different everyday. Polish inspired. You can get it with soup. And the baked goods are delicious! Really close to old town and away from how annoying the hip areas can be. Friendly service and indoor and outdoor seating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Even if it's out of your way. This is a must try! They have small portion desserts that are great for take away. And the prices are very fair!

    Gluten-free banana pie.

I am here for a work/school trip from Western New York, and I have to eat gluten-free because of an allergy. My friend has to eat Vegan. This place was so knowledgeable and accommodating for both of us! I had an amazing spaghetti pesto dish with rice noodles substitution, and the banana pie for dessert - there were several GF choices for dessert, too! I highly recommend for anyone, but definitely for gluten-free and Vegan. Such a cool vibe, as well!

    Cabbage and mushroom pierogies

Vege Miasto sits close to Stare Miasto (Warsaw's Old Town) and is a friendly cafe offering a menu of beautifully-plated vegan dishes. We ordered the pierogies with cabbage and mushroom--uniquely, these dumplings were baked, such that the dough had a slightly crispy, chewy texture. The cabbage and mushroom filling had a pickled flavor and went nicely with the fried onions and the simple salad of lettuce and sprouts on top. I also tried the kofta plate, which were three vegetable fritters topped with a sweet pepper-tomato sauce and served with roasted potatoes coated with a pesto made of basil, spinach, almonds, and cashews, and topped with pumpkin seeds and slivered almonds for garnish. The koftas had a nice crispy texture, and my favorite part was the herbaceous, earthy pesto sauce, which went nicely with the potatoes and the koftas. On the menu at Vege Miasto were also a bunch of health-conscious drinks and desserts, but the best part about the dishes was the surprisingly elegant plating, which turned the vegan food here into works of art!

This is my dream restaurant. Firstly, the entire menu is vegan, and jam-packed with delicious, healthy food and drinks. We were in Warsaw for 3 days, and ate here 4 times, we were so impressed. It's also really handy for The Old Town area of Warsaw - about 10 minutes walk, and very easy to find. We first stopped in for a coffee and a cake, opting for a chocolate and cherry, and a zebra cake. I'm not quite sure what the zebra cake was, other than it was stripey and delicious. We returned that evening, and I had the cabbage and mushroom dumplings. It was great to be able to try traditional Polish food, but vegan style. The next evening, I had the Cudaki, which were potatoes stuffed with a beautiful creamy topping. There are English translation menus at the end of the bar, which was very handy. I also loved the drinks selection - they can make coffee drinks/hot chocolate etc with not only soya milk, but also offer oat, rice and coconut milk! Amazing. And they do a warming hot drink made with fresh ginger, lemon and orange slices, and agave. It really does warm you up on a cold day! We couldn't leave Warsaw without trying the sweet main courses (genius!). I had oat pancakes which came with apple, banana, almonds, cardamon and whipped coconut cream. This has to be one of the best things I have ever eaten. Staff spoke great English (which I always appreciate) and were super friendly and helpful.

    Celery soup!

Vege Miasto serves incredible vegan food. I went three times and every experience was great. However yesterday was extraordinary. I came alone and had their daily menu with soup. The food was exceptional! Fine restaurant moments were in that meal from totally plant based food! The daily menu was a celery soup with pasta and a big plate of veggies done many ways. The salad had a fruit purée dressing that blew my mind and the eggplant filled with a corn mixture was out of this world. It was hard to believe what I was eating it was so good....I got transported to a different dimension! I have many pictures because I didn't want to forget how good the food was!!! And it was so cheap! Oh my god!! This meal is something you would find in Manhattan for $100 easy. Thank you Thank you Vege Miasto!! I will be back before I leave Warsaw for some of your plant based cake!! All the best! -Sam

Great place ! Loved the food - so tasty and big portions. We tried the eggplant in tomato sauce, dumplings , mushroom spaghetti and a huge hummus place. Outside and inside seating- smiling staff and good beer. I only wish I had room to try some dessert. This is a place I'm going to visit again. Warszawa is heaven for vegans

Awesome vegan and gluten free food! The atmosphere is really nice, especially for a summer night. Their brew selection is good too. I recommend their tarts and trying out the entree of the week. Their juices are also nice since they aren't too sweet. Will come back here when I'm in Warsaw. My girlfriend appreciated the English menu that you can ask for at the counter.

This place is simply amazing. The most delicious vegan food I've ever had. You will love it if you're vegan, you will love it if you're not. I doubt it's possible to find food like this anywhere else, especially for these prices. An absolute must have while in Warsaw.

First aperitif, before i will know what means good vegan food! #veganwine #veganlife in Warsaw

We splashed out on the omakase set (79 PLN/person, which is a lot less than you'd pay for something similar in any big city in the U.S. Pricey by Warsaw standards; not so bad if you're paying with euros or USD). We were served a wide variety of plant-based sushi, done in different styles - thin rolls, thick rolls, rice-outside rolls, multiple kinds of nigiri style. There was even a sweet inari (tofu skin stuffed with rice) with plum at the end of the meal. It all looked lovely, and tasted delicious. The highlight was nigiri made from celeriac and lovely pieces of rice wrapped with seaweed with puréed toppings (see the photos!) The omakase was the perfect amount for two very hungry people with good appetites to eat to the point of being nicely full without feeling overstuffed. They have an English menu, and both servers spoke English well. I recommend making a reservation if you go on a weekend night; it was hopping even after 9 and 10 pm on a Friday. The only drawback: the service was very slow, which I don't really mind. But the service we got appeared to be significantly worse than the other customers. We ordered tap water at the beginning and weren't brought any until we specifically asked for it again (even though other tables who arrived after us were brought water before we were, and without asking twice.) Every other table was brought ginger and wasabi automatically before their food arrived, and we had to specially request it after the first dishes had been brought to us. And a table that arrived well after us and ordered the omakase as well was getting their food at around the same time we were (which may just be a pacing issue, since they were busy.) I'm pretty sure that we were the only foreign tourists/English speakers in the restaurant, and I suspect this is what made the difference between the service. This wasn't enough to ruin the meal, but it was distracting and disappointing.

All-vegan spot with bowls, smoothies, ramen, etc. I ordered their ramen samuraj (43zł), which took about 20 minutes to be ready -- too long for such a setting IMO. Toppings-wise, there was smoked tofu, seaweed, enoki mushrooms, marinated shiitakes, and green onion -- could've used some greens (spinach, bok choy, etc.). The noodles were not the greatest, being far from ramen noodles. I wasn't too impressed with this dish. Maybe other items are better, but this didn't work for me.
