And the callback system is not effective for working persons like me who work 9-7pm without ability to answer the phone on their time, when THEY decide to call. I keep getting billed for services even though Blue Cross has indicated that they have billed in error and that I have no patient balance. But I still paid the bill anyway last year thinking that I did owe what they requested. Last year on 9-7-12 I wrote a check for $205.00. What happened to that money? Why has it not appeared on my statement? They also are billing me for procedure code 99203, which is a Dr. office initial visit although I already made a separate payment directly to the Dr.s office for that. Why has my payment to the Dr. not been recorded or acknowledged on the statement they keep sending me? It is for the same procedures. They keep double billing me, it's annoying, it is ongoing for almost 2 years and they can't get it right, and provide no opportunity to speak with anyone.

I received a bill dated 2/27/14 for charges incurred on 12/3/12. I called their billing department…read moreand provided them with my insurance information at the time of the visit. They told me I am responsible for the payment because I did not present my insurance information at the time of the visit. COMPLETELY UNTRUE! What physician's office would see a patient without validating insurance information or charging them at the point of service??? I am waiting to get a call back from a supervisor. Apparently the physician I saw is no longer with the practice. As Jonathan D. indicated, they will not be getting a dime from me!

My experience with Dedicated Dermatology was frustrating and far less efficient than my prior…read moreexperience with an independent Mohs surgeon. It's important for patients to understand that Dedicated Dermatology operates as a larger corporate dermatology group rather than a traditional physician-owned practice. In my case, the process involved multiple appointments, multiple copays, and long wait times between steps. At a previous Mohs surgeon I saw in the Washington, DC area, I was evaluated, biopsied, diagnosed, and treated in the same visit. Two basal cell carcinomas were confirmed and removed during a single appointment, and the entire process took only a couple of hours. My experience with Dedicated Dermatology was very different. First, I saw a provider for biopsies. Then I had to wait weeks for pathology results, return for another appointment, and later go through a separate scheduling and approval process to see a Mohs surgeon. I was also told that two areas could not be treated on the same day due to office policy, billing. The result was multiple visits, repeated copays, additional time away from work, and significantly more inconvenience. By the time everything was scheduled and completed, the total out-of-pocket cost was far higher than what I experienced elsewhere( actual/real Mohs surgeon). I also found it frustrating that by the time I finally saw the Mohs surgeon, the biopsy sites had already healed, meaning the areas had to be reopened and treated again. Every office operates differently, but patients should be aware that this practice's process may involve several appointments and added costs compared to a more streamlined Mohs surgery experience.

I thought I knew what Acupuncture was all about before I went to Krista. It's just needles, right?…read moreI was totally wrong! Fast forward to Krista Essler - she did nothing of what I expected. She actually listened to me and started our first session asking alot of questions about me and hearing me out on the issues that concerned me most. I decided to try acupuncture for chronic insomnia that I have experienced for most of my life in addition to carpal tunnel syndrome pain despite having two surgeries. Her advice and treatments saved me from taking prescription sleep pills and injections for pain which is the only thing doctors would ever recommend despite my fears of their potential side effects. I wanted to solve the problems, not cover them up with a temporary fix. Krista's methodologies include holistic therapy, nutrition, and supplements with acupunture to deliver real results. Her treatments and recommendations have been real game changers in dealing with my issues. She was able to identify triggers that contributed to my insomnia that I didn't even realize were part of the problem. She has incredible accuracy in finding the origin of painful areas and uses several different techniques to treat the areas. I also even enjoy going to her for a session to help me relax and de-stress. I'll just list some of the things that make her treatments different and more effective than other acupuncturists: 1. She listens to you and documents the history of what is ailing you throughout your entire body whether it's stress, pain, or chronic medical issues. 2. She treats the "root" of the problem and will do research to learn more about you. 3. She will do multiple treatments during one session if necessary (so don't expect your treatment to be a quickie). 4. She recommends foods/supplements that will actually help with your ailment. 5. She's truly concerned with helping you! Krista is a sweetheart and she's really there for the well being of her patients. She actively stays up to date about holistic therapies and treatments that are truly effective. She will even try these treatments on herself to test their effectiveness. I feel fortunate to have met Krista and I highly recommend her to anyone! Take the time to see her more than once. You won't regret it.

I saw Megan Harris my PA-C who did a biopsy but was also my calming force in a storm, made me feel so comfortable. The whole clinic staff is like Zen calm. Two weeks later Dr Christine Cibello did the Mohs surgery, removed the cancerous tissue and then proceeded to rebuild mt ear( looks same to me) Wednesday night I was showering and felt what I thought was the lump returning ‼I got my landlady to take pictures and sent them along with a panic message to analready closed center . They called me back 8 am yesterday, scheduled me with Megan Harris today( she is a goddess) and she did my 6 month check up as well as looking at my ear. I am happy to say it is scar tissue, and the cancer hasn't returned. Special thanks to Megan who is always interested, funny, but also so calming
