Review of 06/27 concert+ venue The pros Starship w Mikey Thomas - good show/ band 2 encores! Small venue Acoustics we're not bad for this show. Staff for ticketing came out and did a good job checking tickets keeping the line moving as it was general admission entrance. Chairs- I had read chairs were bad....well these were padded and not bad at all. Cons Poor wifi to pull tickets up in line on your phone. Stage needs 6"-12 "lift to be higher as it would improve the seating in back with a level floor. Some staff had no clue of the event in casino... Inside venue bartenders were ok, pours tight, and expensive$$. No ushers or security seen. Overall we liked the Venue due to intimacy and this band was perfect to see here. read more

Went to the Veil Pavilion located at the Silverton Casino to watch JourneyUSA. The venue is decent size and holds more people that I expected. They do Have a bar inside the venue to get drinks. My only complaint is the seats tied together and for a normal size person it's a little tight. But a larger person sitting next to you makes it feel like you're packed in a sardine can - no personal space to be had. read more

Went here for the Tina Turner tribute show in February with my husband. There was a long line to get in of people in the senior age range, some in wheelchairs, some using walkers, lots of dressed up people who were anxious to enjoy a Tina Turner tribute artist. The venue is spacious and we had good seats, however, the stage isn't really high enough for you to see well if your view is blocked by people directly in front of you. We enjoyed it as we have other shows at this venue and the artist gave it her all, she was simply the best! read more

I went to Veil Pavilion inside the Silverton casino to see Tower of Power perform. The venue has dinner table chairs in rows for seating, and the pavilion is midsized with a stage at the front. I enjoyed the live instrumentation; people stood up and danced to the classic tunes. Unlike some larger venues, the Veil Pavilion does not provide a larger-than-life concert experience. However, it gives a solid setting for watching a show. The Silverton casino has free parking, and I would return to see performing artists I like. Tower of Power did not disappoint, and nothing beats live instrumentation! read more

Seating isn't tiered to be able to enjoy a concert. The A/C is on point though! Would be nice to have assigned seats.

Great venue space. Love the antler looking lighting, it makes the space have that rustic feel which I like very much. The walk towards the space is cute too with the string lights. I've been here a few times. The two most recent times were a craft fair and a graduation party. So it's a space where you can definitely do many different types of events. There are bathrooms at the back so you don't need to go back into the hotel to go to the restroom. There's a small area on the left side for smoking or lounging or for additional room for whatever your hearts desire at your event. I would consider hosting an event here myself mainly because of the lighting hehe. read more

I love attending music events at Veil, its a nice big room with lots of seating, two bars in the back for easy access to get a drink. The only thing I wish was different is that the chairs were a little bit further apart so you are not always rubbing elbows with the neighbor. Otherwise, great place to see any music show. read more

Attended the Galactic Empire show there last night. It's a terrible venue for a show like that. The stage is too low for folks who didn't want to stand/couldn't stand to see the show. My friends had to leave early because they couldn't stand for the whole 90-minute show and would have seen nothing except the back of heads if they stayed seated. It may be a great venue for a small play or comedy show, but for a rock concert it's pretty bad. read more

I've been to this venue for a couple of concerts during the Hawaiian Festivals(Rebel Souljahz and Kapena) but this time it wasn't for a concert, but for Zumbathon-Lucky Zumba 2012. We were not only getting a kick-ass workout for 2 hours straight, but we were also there for a good cause, helping out three square as well. The cost for admission was 5 canned vegetable items per person. After the DROP Studios ladies had us sign waivers, took our canned goods and handed us our Lucky Zumba bracelets, we headed inside. DJ ROB was providing the rockin' beats for the evening, and didn't have any boring song selections during the whole time like some Zumba classes can. The "Cream of the Crop" top Zumba Instructors in Vegas orchestrated this Zumbathon and it was High Energy all the way. One of the familiar faces was Jackie. Some of us may remember her from the Yelp Olympics, and she also teaches Zumba classes at LVAC. Surprisingly, no other LVAC instructors represented(Where was Olga and Joe D.???) The other instructors-Enrique, Teddy, Maria, Megan, and the buff G.I. Joe dude(forgot his name) were from 24 Hour Fitness(at least I think so) Participants and instructors came dressed wearing green for St. Patrick's Day and some even got very creative with their wardrobe even sporting green facial hair! The Zumbathon was broken into high powered segments between instructors so participants could rehydrate and also win raffle items from Staycations and dinners at Silverton, Chippendales and Thunder from Down Under Tickets, Botox Treatments, and the participant that dressed up the "Most St. Patrick's Day" won a pot full of Zumba clothing and accessories. What a workout it was! after the first hour, a few that couldn't hang had already bailed, and the party went on for the 21 and over crowd as there were also cocktails being offered for those who decided to drink !?!?!?! The last segment was in honor of St. Patrick's Day which included a traditional Irish Jig, a blast from the past with House of Pain's "Jump Around", then DJ ROB went FURTHER BACK and we all ended the Zumbathon with "Come On Eileen" from Dexy's Midnight Runners! Finally, a cool-down with "Bruddah Iz", Isreal Kamakawiwoole's "What A Wonderful World" ended the night's festivities. Went there for the first time to see Billy Ocean's concert. There's a free parking garage nearby that's a short walk into the casino where Veil is located. The venue has a nice size stage and they put out 800 chairs, auditorium style. There were 2 small bars in the back and there's no smoking inside. The chairs were on flat ground, so if you go for a concert and everyone stands up, it's very hard to see the stage if you're shorter. Actually, it was hard to see while sitting down, too. Only way to see was to hold my phone up high and record the performance. Also, all the chairs were right next to each other, so no social distancing options at all. We saw a few booths on the side, but not sure how much those costs. Antler chandeliers were cool and the sound quality was great. Keep in mind that after you purchase tickets, they have a no refund or exchange policy, no exceptions, no timeframe. All that being said, Billy Ocean put on a fun show and still sounds amazing! read more

My husband and I just recently got married at the Veil. We had our ceremony as well as our reception here. After searching for the perfect venue we both fell in love with the room. Our ceremony was located outside of the Veil and the reception held inside. Danielle was very helpful she kept me posted and paid attention to detail. We had the buffet instead of having a plated menu since we wanted to give our guest the options. Everyone loved the food, I only got a few bites since you know us brides don't like to eat much on the big day. The staff was all so wonderful, they made sure the table was cleared so our guest can get seconds and so on. read more

I came here tonight for the Las Vegas Woman's magazine winter premiere party tonight. The event was filled with a diverse set of vendors, a sufficient amount of trash cans, and other staff tending to clean up. The place was clean, bright, and pretty bland. It truly is what ever the host wants to make it, just a blank slate waiting to be taken advantage of it it. Because the event was packed, I chose to leave early because I do not enjoy the sardine can feeling. The bathrooms were in a building outside of the venue, which was not a far walk at all. My main complaint is that before the event the staff did not sure that the bathrooms for the women were fully stocked. It took a little bit of hunting to find an adequate stall with toilet paper. I do recommend this venue for businesses to host events at, but I cannot speak for their rates. read more

I didn't even know this place existed inside the Silverton Casino until I got tickets to see a band, and this is where they were playing. It was easy to find inside the casino, next to the buffet. Doors open at 7, I was there 6:45...we had to stand in line outside til they opened the door, its August in Vegas so it was 100 degrees out there, I didn't like that. Since I didn't buy tickets there, all I get was a faded handstamp to prove I belong there. The bands didn't start til 8 so I headed back to the casino to waste some time. I carefully washed my hands as not to remove my stamp. The pavilion is small which I like when seeing a band. It reminded me of a wedding reception or party hall. Alas, they do rent the space out for parties, weddings, meetings, etc. 2 small bars at the back of the room, make great drinks at good prices (5$). Large white antler chandeleirs hang from the ceiling. The stage is a nice size, where you can get close to the band. Sound was good too. The space also has its own bathrooms, so you don't have to go back out into the casino. Small area outside to sit and get air or smoke. I would definitely go to other events at this venue. read more

Uhm...I really don't know how to start this off. The bar...is seriously not even a legit bar. Simple drinks...like rum and coke. But it's seriously coming out of the bottle/can. I just don't know how I feel about this place. read more

Maybe this place is good for conventions/meeting space, but it's not built for concert/music venues. I guess I'm used to raised stadium seating at concerts. The problem at the Veil is if anyone sits in the row directly in front of you, they completely block your view of the stage. read more

My had both my wedding ceremony and reception at the Veil. The staff was wonderful from the first time we booked the date. Kerri was is organized and extremely helpful. Weddings are usually stressful but with the staff at the Veil everything was simple. All the guests loved the food and bar service.The Silverton hotel front desk staff assisted all the guests with booking rooms without any issues. I highly recommend this venue! read more

Located in the Silverton Lodge and Casino. This s a very groovy venue, it is mainly for concerts but I was there for a networking event. The staff is great. if you have a chance to check this place out, I say go for it, and while you are there check out the rest of the Silverton as well. Live it up, you are in Las Vegas for cryin' out loud! read more

As a career catering/convention services/hotel sales managers for over ten years and working at all the major properties on The Strip, Veil Pavilion is an ideal venue spot. Unlike MGM Garden Arena or Mandalay Event Center, the pavilion seems to offer enough space without being too intimidating on size. This venue is perfect for social events or convention space ( I really can't see if as a meeting room space). For convention/exhibit, it's enough room to showcase all your participant but yet it has a nice intimate space where no one gets lost in the "mass" space. Easy to walk around without having to hike to see all the exhibits/vendors but enough room to move around. For social events, I can definitely see a stage for a band PLUS a dance floor, seating up to 300...I would love to attend or even have a large social event here! It's location is perfect, right off of the highway but you away from all the traffic you encounter on being on The Strip. But it is close enough, should you wish to enjoy The Strip life afterwards, it's a east drive. Again, I would love to see this place at it's full usage and believe it will be AMAZING! read more
