When the doctor learned these facts he rudely stated he was not interested "in giving podiatry services to a 92 year old senior, that he "gets these kind of calls all the time," and specifically cited speaking with my wife long distance was a problem. He also cited the lack of a healthcare assistant in the home as a problem, despite the fact my wife asserted her mother did not require in-home assistance. He did not give her time to speak further after his declaration. I understand he may have history with challenging circumstances regarding elderly care and the involvement of distant relatives, and everybody has a bad day on occasion, but during this interaction he was short, rude, and unprofessional.

He came in, told me there is nothing wrong with your feet. He recommended New Balance shoes. There is a NB store across street. The 10% off coupon helped a lot. The shoes have basically taken care of the pain. He also wrote a prescription for physical therapy for a month. I didn't go because my feet at much better.
