I visited this spa on a whim while in town and had such an amazing experience. Honestly it was one of the best pedicures I had ever had. I requested the Venetian pedicure and it was absolutely amazing. I fell asleep in the chair and my legs and feet feel so soft!! The service is great but do NOT go by the pricing online!! I was shocked when they charged me $197 when I asked for a receipt they said they did not offer them if you pay cash! Then I looked at the menu online and it should have only been $140. I called the store and they said the pricing online is old and they have increased their prices, so whatever I was charged in store is what is it. I took 2 girls under 10 and online it says prince/princess peti $25 then I was charge $40 for one without gel polish (polish for her fingers were $10 extra) and $75 for my one girl with gel polish ($25 +15+20) $10 extra for gel polish each! well I went in and got a pedicure as my nails were already done she showed me didnt get her name she dont talk much however she shows me their white list chart of pedicures to get so I chose the$45 dollar one removal of toe polish and callus removal plus gel polish is extra fine when she was done she charged me 84 dollars despite what I saw on chart with my lying eyes. I have been coming here for at least 10 years and it is constantly the worst nail shop. first off, the prices are ridiculous. just last week I paid over $80 for PLAIN acrylics and the nail tech did the wrong length and shape even after I asked her to fix it. the quality of the nails is also awful. I have had my acrylics on for one week and there are chunks of gel that peeled right off. also, they charge extra for chrome, I get maybe a few dollars, but $10?? that's ridiculous. even worse they charge for shape. it is another $10 for almond and they can't even shape them correctly. my current nails look like candy corn. the worst part about this place isn't even the fact that they don't know how to do nails. my nail tech used a nail file on my cuticles and I left the shop with not only my nails looking horrible but also my nail beds swollen and red. read more

I reluctantly came here due to the more expensive dollar signs. First, I went to Luxury Nails not far from here, but they were apparently closed on July 4th--they had no signage or mention online or even an answering machine when I called to inform clients of hours. Most of the other nail salons in the area are now appointment only and booked out. I needed a walk-in and soon. I called here and they were accepting walk-ins and there was no wait. When I arrived they had 10-12 nail techs working. The salon was very clean and quiet. I was taken immediately. Their selection of colors was some of the best I've ever seen. Definitely one of the most hygienic salons I've been to as well. Brand new files/buffers for each client and sanitized tools. Their prices were within a few dollars of the other salons in the area and well worth the difference, in my opinion. They have an extensive menu of services which was nice to see. My technician, Dang, was very focused and did a wonderful job. She didn't rush me at all or rush through my service. She paid great attention to detail. Very experienced and professional. read more

I was never offered discount of any kind for my service. I had to pick up my son that afternoon and catch a flight the next day other wise I would have spent the time to have them fixed. I was having my nails done specifically for the event I was flying out for so there was no point in going back when I arrived home. I had to constantly point out things that weren't right throughout the appointment which makes things really awkward. I've had my nails done at this salon multiple times in the past and never had that problem. I've never had a complaint to make. "Tough luck" is not good customer service. I shouldn't have to micromanage a $90 nail service. When I say in the beginning that I don't want a gap between the polish and my cuticles I shouldn't have to point out the gap and have it painted over. I shouldn't have to point out various places where the tips are filed at crooked angles. If the technician is new (I have no idea if they were) you should make that known to the customer. Sometimes it's OK, sometimes there's not enough time for do overs and they need someone who knows what they're doing. If you're going to charge what your charging, the skill level and service needs to match. I did tip by the way because I'm not a jerk. I do expect quality when I pay for it. read more

I asked if I could have a 2 o'clock or 230 appointment they said NO. if I wanted a later appointment I would have to leave and then come back to make a later appointment after their 130s were booked up. Jimmy needs to go. I do not typically write reviews, however this needs to be said and bring up awareness of the issue. I typically go to this nail salon just by the pure convenience for walk ins and having it be close to my workplace. I went in two days ago where I stated I needed a gel manicure with three tips, trimmed, shaped almond, and painted. Nothing that I had not gotten before the past few years I been there. The appointment seemed normal so far until the one nail tech mentioned she saw my manicure the previous time and believed it was Gel X. I had no idea there was a difference but I was going along with what was suggested best for me. As a result get shifted to another table with foil on my hands to see an unfriendly older man whose name is Jimmy. Greets me with a frown and asks "what are we doing today?" And I tell him same thing "gel manicure, almond, colored." After this interaction, there was miscommunication about the Gel X vs Gel situation and I profusely apologized since I can own up to it when I'm wrong. He starts berating me and it seems like he's talking down to me like a child. This conversation was loud and embarrassing where there was multiple witnesses including the GM sitting right there next to him. Next came the shaping of the nail, since he did not touch the last two nails where they were long that the rest, after he was done shaping the right I asked politely if he could please trim these a little more since they're longer than the rest. Jimmy yells, "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT BEFORE?" Starts scolding again. At this point, I'm shocked and disgusted ready to leave with my naked nails because this was not worth sitting through. Bit my tongue til the last moment on the verge of tears, and he said go wash your hands "I'll ring you out". I go to the desk, pay in card ($48) and hand in my tip in cash and said " Look I would have given you $20 but I did not appreciate feeling patronized in a chair by you and it was a disgusting display of behavior. From there he tells me "you can keep the cash" and tosses the $10 back towards me. Left for a bit and then came back in to get his name and talk to the GM Uno. She did not express any concern or remorse to the way he talks to customers. She just kept saying "sorry" and smiling in my face while doing it. She said next time I come in to just say I don't want Jimmy to do my nails, and I told her " There will not be a next time. My nails are a call card for you guys, I always send people over when they ask where I got them done, however this a business practice I cannot respect this disgusting behavior that is tolerated. I am also a manager and if one of our employees talked that way to someone, there would be a termination or probation period involved." I was appalled this was even reality at this point. This was at this point so shocking I thought I was being played of a sick joke from WWYD waiting on John Quinones to come out of hiding behind a vase or something. If I wanted to get insulted by a worker I would have just got gone to "Dick's Last Resort" for cheaper. Another incident that occurred with another older "gentleman" two months ago where he was so rough filing and he cut my natural nails on purpose saying "Oh! I broke it" laughed about it like it was a joke for multiple other nails. He put dip powder on my naked nails BEFORE putting on gel polish. Did not realized this until my next technician was taking them off the next time I was there and he asked if "I used dip powder" and I was confused stating no I got gel and it's on my record there. He then told me to not do dip on bare nails since it will damage them. I never planned to on the first place and as a result of this, my tips broke off easily and were not salvageable to use for that appointment and had to be replaced. I am putting this out there since I will not be promoting this place any longer. There are multiple reviews that state that Jimmy had told them to "F-off" to more than one guests, guests getting insulted and cut by the tools, people claiming they lost a toe nail from fungal infections and much worse than what I thought before. I booked an appointment for 2 people and we were sat on opposite sides of the salon. Which wasn't a big deal to me, as I assumed they were practicing social distancing. Until I was sat where two nail techs were directly behind me, sitting next to one another, with two clients (not together) sitting right by one another. Still didn't matter that much, but I found it very odd? My gel manicure chipped on multiple fingers after less than 5 full days. I have never had a manicure chip this fast. My friend got the SNS powder dip where the nail tech cut her cuticle too short (made her bleed) and then put her fingers directly into the powder containers (blood and all). This was my first time at this salon, and I was horribly unimpressed. Two times prior to this I attempted to get my nails done here. The first time not realizing due to covid they were no longer walk in only (my fault) and the second time completely changing my appointment time without asking me. Wow! When I called the venetian nail spa in Levis Commons, I got one of the worst customer service phone calls I've ever had. I called to schedule three pedicures. The first time I called, someone answered, and I began to speak, but the phone abruptly hung up. When I phoned back to say I was just on the phone with you and wasn't sure what had happened, the person simply said "oh." When I inquired about scheduling an appointment, I was informed that "we are fully booked until the end of July". I replied ideal because I'm planning three pedicures for the end of July or early August. Then I was told that starting in August, "we will only accept walk-ins and will no longer take appointments" and are booked in July. The women at the front desk was not pleasant at all and did not care that I was in pain and could not wait around for long. We had to call an hour later because we did not receive a phone call, we were told they called 3 times but we did not receive one. Then when I was finally taken back the women doing the nail did not talk or look at me the whole time. Then when the nail was done all she said is done and didn't walk us out or anything. When we were walking out the door to leave we were stopped by the lady at the front desk telling us we had to pay $5 for the nail. I've been going to Uno for a while and today I had to get a nail fixed by "Jimmy" I have never been treated so horribly. He had an attitude from the beginning. When I said the shape didn't match my other nail he got annoyed. "Fixed" it but actually made it worse. When I said something he started yelling at me and cleaned up his stuff and said you fix it then and walked away cussing me out and said "f*** this" I was polite and had witnesses. I have never posted a negative review however I feel that other people need to be aware before considering getting their nails done here. I have been getting dip powder on my nails for over 2 years at a salon in my hometown and recently moved to Toledo and found this nail salon. I got dip powder here and when it was removed it left behind huge green stains on my nails. The man told me it was mold. I decided to see a physician because I was so upset and he told me that this is actually a bacteria that flourishes on the nail if the nails are not applied correctly and water is able to get between the nail and dip powder adhesive. Needless to say I am very upset and this nail salon should not be allowed to apply dip powder if it is not done correctly. Now I am on antibiotics for a problem that should not have happened.
