There was adequate parking for us to turn around plus park the boat. No lights around the parking area but there are cameras outside which is good. We didn't go look at the outdoor amenities. We had an upstairs room. Tv with cable, full kitchen, dining table, sheets on the bunks and towels in the bathroom. (The bath faucet had lime scale on it). Smelled a bit like someone smoked in there. My bed was extremely squeaky. Nice place overall. I would stay again. The water tower helped us locate the cabin if we were turned around.

They offer a full meal service if you don't want to worry about buying and cooking food, and serve the most authentic Bayou food you can get.

The boats and crew where very nice guys who knew what they were doing on very nice fishing boats My complaint is the House Boat. Several of the rooms onboard do not have electricity. Not a big deal, I just carry a flashlight with me around the boat. This morning we woke up and find the toilets completely back up! We called the main office, which is impossible to get someone on the line. They said they would have someone over to fix it. After a whole day of fishing, we come back to find the same situation. I definitely would go to another Charter group before coming back here

We stayed for a company convention and enjoyed morning walks to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The historic home is very warm and inviting with beautiful decor and comfortable furniture including couches and luxurious beds. We had three guests but the size of the rooms and facilities could boast housing at least 10 people comfortably. There is one spacious full bath upstairs and one half bath downstairs conveniently located by the back entrance door to the large pool. The above ground pool is a very good size with pool floaties and outdoor furniture at your disposal. The backyard also includes a hot tub and shower perfect for entertaining and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was the perfect lounge area to chill after a long day of exploring the city. I am thrilled to recommend this home for its warmth and inviting character if you really want to experience living in the historic district of New Orleans. You won't be disappointed at the amenities, character and charm of this lovely home.
