I've dealt with a foot drop for 35+ years. Every other doctor I saw for this told me nothing could be done. All I could do was "live with it." Then I saw Dr. Gallina. He knew EXACTLY how to resolve the issue. It took two rather involved surgeries, but I am now in physical therapy and am recovering more use and mobility each week! He couldn't make it so he precribed some anti-fungus medication without seeing me. I've never been his patient so after discharge from the hospital SMH gave me instructions to contact Dr. Pavelecu's office for an appointment. I called and the call center said he wasn't available on my non dialysis days in Venice so they scheduled me with Dr. Barabara Buckley instead. Then several days before the appointment I start getting reminder messages about my upcoming appointment with Dr. Buckley. So I scheduled a ride through my insurance co. and planned my day around it. Then about 3 hours before my scheduled appointment I get a call from Dr. Pavelescu's office saying the call center made a mistake and I need to reschedule to see Dr. Pavelescu (and cannot see Dr. Buckley). So I call the main number and at first they tell me I'm still on for Dr. Buckley. So I had to leave a message with the call center for them to call me back to get it straightened out. Finally somebody calls back and insists I reschedule with Dr. Pavelescu for another day. I resfuse because I was told Dr. Pavelescu isn't available on my non-dialysis days in Venice. I tell them I already scheduled my ride to see Dr. Buckley in a few hours and demand to keep that appointment. They refuse and make up what I'm pretty sure is a lie that Dr. Buckley is away at a conference. I think it has something to do with so-called "professional courtesy" because Dr. Pavelescu was the first one to prescribe me medication (even though he never saw me). They might consider it one doctor poaching a patient away from another doctor. This practice is at 115 Shamrock Blvd. in Venice FL and the practice is called "The Foot & Vein Specialists." Needless to say their office is a disorganized mess. I recommend avoiding them like the plague. I refused to reschedule with them and I'll be seeking a different podiatrist with a different practice.

From the very beginning at Restore I felt listened to. My every concern was discussed with me, tests to determine what is wrong, very thoroughly looked at and a plan to move forward to help me was put into place. Every step of the way since then I could not be happier. The staff is amazing, they are understanding, helpful and care! We not only look at how I am doing each visit, but review what has been going on to make sure there are no issues that need addressed. Medication is looked at, plans for treatments are reviewed and always I know that they have my best interest at heart. Each team member, who all have their various duties, are wonderful! My team, which is Joseph and his assistants for pain management, and Nikki for behavioral health are both wonderful. Most importantly, besides the good part that they are wonderful individuals and work to make sure all of their patients needs are met, they are always over and above what is required, they have guided my health so that I am having significant improvements and I am getting so much better. Today, (Joe, PA.), gave me all bullshit excuses. About the procedure to have it reinstalled they've been feeding me this fucking bullshit for the past four years. The clerical staff and other nurses were top-notch. I love them all and always treated them with bags of candy and even at asshole Joe I made 2 1/2 pounds of jerky for him when he went off hunting up north last hunting season I've had it with these motherfuckers and should I cross Joe or Dr Job (the bitch that she is), I would scorn the hell out of them in public avoid this goddamn facility. They are nothing but a bunch of quacks with the exception of the scheduling staff and others. God helped them. !!! God Help Mangione!
