He couldn't make it so he precribed some anti-fungus medication without seeing me. I've never been his patient so after discharge from the hospital SMH gave me instructions to contact Dr. Pavelecu's office for an appointment. I called and the call center said he wasn't available on my non dialysis days in Venice so they scheduled me with Dr. Barabara Buckley instead. Then several days before the appointment I start getting reminder messages about my upcoming appointment with Dr. Buckley. So I scheduled a ride through my insurance co. and planned my day around it. Then about 3 hours before my scheduled appointment I get a call from Dr. Pavelescu's office saying the call center made a mistake and I need to reschedule to see Dr. Pavelescu (and cannot see Dr. Buckley). So I call the main number and at first they tell me I'm still on for Dr. Buckley. So I had to leave a message with the call center for them to call me back to get it straightened out. Finally somebody calls back and insists I reschedule with Dr. Pavelescu for another day. I resfuse because I was told Dr. Pavelescu isn't available on my non-dialysis days in Venice. I tell them I already scheduled my ride to see Dr. Buckley in a few hours and demand to keep that appointment. They refuse and make up what I'm pretty sure is a lie that Dr. Buckley is away at a conference. I think it has something to do with so-called "professional courtesy" because Dr. Pavelescu was the first one to prescribe me medication (even though he never saw me). They might consider it one doctor poaching a patient away from another doctor. This practice is at 115 Shamrock Blvd. in Venice FL and the practice is called "The Foot & Vein Specialists." Needless to say their office is a disorganized mess. I recommend avoiding them like the plague. I refused to reschedule with them and I'll be seeking a different podiatrist with a different practice.

Dr. Suleskey is the best podiatrist I've ever seen! He not…read moreonly treats immediate issues very well but he treats ongoing conditions ; such as neuropathy and toenail problems on a regular basis. Since I have been going to Dr. Suleskey, my feet are in better condition and relatively pain free.
