We sat down and promptly ordered. The server is also the bartender and chef, so have that in mind. We ordered: the cheese, croquetas, stuffed mushrooms and the fried chicken. All were very delicious, and made in front of you. The owner/chef/bartender/server was really helpful and nice and very friendly as well. The place was empty on a Wednesday night around 8:30-9:40, so please visit to make sure they're still here when we come back. I'm mostly an angry Yelp reviewer, so this place has to be really good for me to go out of my way to praise it!

Some of our favorites were the mushrooms and chorizo, pork & cheese, smoked salmon, and pork cheek. Mushrooms were just a great pairing of textures and flavors. Pork with cheese was really salty and flavorful. They gave a very generous portion of salmon with dill sauce. The pork cheek was super tender although maybe a tad underseasoned. Overall the food was was very tasty. The place was extremely crowded; we got there relatively early for dinner and sat at the bar. The place was completely packed and there was a constant line so I'd recommend making a res if you're able.

It's still one of the best meals I can recall. It's a little bit of a blur at this point, but we LOVED the "A ciggar for Bequer" - which they describe as smooth bechamel with squid ink, cuttlefish and seaweed wrapped in pastry. Every single thing we tried blew us away.
