I went there today 8/12/25 at 1:05 pm and she finished at 1:35pm. I paid $60 upfront for a 45-minute massage that was supposed to cost $50 -- and they never gave me my $10 change back. I waited, thinking it was an honest mistake, but it was clear they had no intention of returning it. Basically, they just pocketed the extra without saying a word. As for the massage itself? Terrible. WTF was she doing? There was no real method or technique -- just inconsistent, random rubbing that felt completely unprofessional. One minute she was on my left shoulder, then suddenly switched to my lower back, then my legs, and back again with no rhythm or flow. I specifically told her to focus on my right shoulder because I had a knot, and she completely ignored it. There was no pressure at all -- it literally felt like she was just dragging her fingernails across my skin the entire time. Not relaxing, not therapeutic, just annoying. I've had dozens of massages before, and this was by far the most disappointing. Total waste of time and money. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

I noticed a lot of a younger crowd here (early 20s) - good for them prioritizing their wellness - I guess price point works for them too. And sadly maybe a lot of then, they do not know what is good versus atrocious. But, this is a place where one could leave with some serious skin and/or health issue, it is that bad. i was with MDs here. never again. i had 4 services here and each one was SO terrible (too chatty, bad services. it was painful all around). i found the slippers, towels, robes, showers - even the lockers/seating/walls/toilets/sinks/flooring - NOTHING was clean, just smelly/nasty - much less the amenities and pooled water/all seating. do not waste your money like i did. just YUCK. also why did they have like: zero q-tips, any product, disposable combs - like very basic items any spa always has. like even equinox has this stuff. Also their AC is always broken (we rescheduled twice due to their broken AC - they called us. guess what, we showed up - STILL NO AC it was stifling) so they bring in these loud industrial huge fans. nothing seems/smells clean (say 'green products'...). sadly, so many of the employees sound SO sick with heavy wet coughs/colds. they seem to hate their lives. and there is zero food. lucky to get water if it is not empty. too bad because it could be a nice place if they cleaned, cared, had good services. basic upkeep, and did not let in a gazzilion guests at a time. So much better to pay more at another spa and not contract some serious health issue here. i still tipped well because the employees seem so miserable and overworked/clueless, yet polite. but i want to warn others - do not repeat my mistake by going here (even if someone sends you for free, get a refund, or try a different location).

They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. Both times, Mimi took care of me and she's so good! All the workers are so friendly and welcoming. The first time I visited, they used a scalp treatment that was very invigorating. I think it was a ginger treatment. Did not get that the 2nd time so when I come back, will definitely request for that treatment again. The bar area with complimentary drinks is such a great touch and makes this place stand out. The facility is clean, peaceful, and spacious. I've been to other head spa businesses with the same price ranges and VN Beauty Spa is definitely one of my favorite. One area of improvement I would suggest is that I got a bit cold in the treatment room so having a thicker or weighted blanket would've added so much more to my experience.

During the facial portion though, the touch was extremely light, it felt like the sponges barely made contact with my skin. There also wasn't much structure or flow. Instead of a smooth sequence, it felt random and disconnected. She also frequently moved between my hair and face, which made the treatment feel less cohesive and made me unsure whether hair products (shampoo/mask/etc.) were coming into contact with my face. At one point she used cold tools (maybe gua sha or rollers?), but they barely touched my face, so it didn't feel effective or relaxing. The water temperature was also VERY inconsistent, sometimes too hot (almost burning), other times suddenly cold enough that I started shivering, which made it hard to relax. :( During the head spa portion, I finished about 5 minutes earlier than my husband even though he started a few minutes before me. We did finish around the same time overall, but that was mainly because his hair drying took less time since he has short hair. I didn't say anything during the service because there were other guests in the room, and I didn't want to disturb their experience. I was planning to mention it afterward, but there was another guest waiting at the front desk, so I didn't feel comfortable bringing it up. About 30 minutes after the treatment, my face became red, itchy, and developed small bumps on my forehead. My skin is not usually sensitive/reactive, so this was unexpected. I'm not entirely sure what caused it, but given how often the treatment moved between my hair and face, I do wonder if some hair products may have contributed. :( Based on my husband's experience and other reviews, I do think this place is capable of providing a great service. They recommended the platinum or diamond and package. I ended up booking the platinum package. When booking they do not tell you the deposit is Non-refundable. They also tell you, you can pay with card but when taking the deposit, "the machine was down." So I had to pay Venmo or Zelle. Once we arrived, they confirm your treatment and then you pay the balance. Well once again they couldn't get the credit card machine to work. I had to pay Venmo or Zelle. Pretty sure it's just a scam to get you to pay cash. This screams money laundering to me. Platinum package was basically a facial. The lady even put the exfoliation on my eyes and the facial cream on my eyes as well. I have never had this happen in a facial. They should know you Never put anything on people eyes! They shampoo your hair, condition it and blow dry but for the majority of the time it's a facial. Also the water was cold and very inconsistent. I was looking for more of a head/hair treatment. Definitely not what I was expecting. I would not go back or recommend this place.
