I love Venus and Vine! First and foremost, the staff and owner are friendly and the store is quaint. You can always find a gift for someone and always walk away with more than you intended!! Their soaps are delightful and the variety of fragrances make choosing the right ones difficult! Their bug-be-gone lotion stick is a must have for the summer months (I have 3!). I've moved from the area, but my friend still buys me the products I love and mails them to be. I've remained a loyal customer from afar. Definitely worth a try, especially if your into supporting local and organic businesses. read more

Venus + Vine, located on the east side of Terre Haute, Indiana, offers authentic, inspired and hand selected goods. Come visit us for a distinctive shopping experience like no other in the area. We carry many local products including the entire Pure GRACE Soap line. We have partnered with many talented and high quality artists to offer their special collections. Many of the pieces we stock are very limited quantity and new things arrive often. Come inside for an aqua fresca or coffee to drink while you browse. We carry a variety of handmade ceramics, fabrics, greeting cards, letterpress, jewelry, leather, bath and beauty and more. There is lots of parking in back of the shop. Come see us today!

Meet the Business Owner: Julie M.

Hello I'm Julie and the owner of Venus+Vine and Pure GRACE Soap both located in Terre Haute, IN. Pure GRACE Soap was started when my daughter, M. GRACE then 7, asked to be part of our local farmers market. That was three years ago and it has grown ever since. In 2016 we hit a new milestone opening our first brick and mortar shop called Venus+Vine. I stay busy running both companies and can be found on the road at popup markets as much as I can be found in the shop. I am a mom, event coordinator and girl boss. I enjoy crafting, eating good food and spending time with those who make me laugh. I am not afraid of hard work. I am grateful for all of the opportunities that have come our way over the last several years and love and respect the relationships we have built with our clients.

After the 3 weeks had passed and on my promise date I called zales and they said they were still waiting on the birthstone to put in it. I told them I didn't want to go any longer without a ring so they sent it back the same size I sent it in and I wore it for 3 weeks with a sizer in it. They ordered me a new ring and after the 3 week promise date I called again and they said it was shipped back then sent back to the jewler again because the quality was bad. No phone call or nothing. So they promise me another date and lets just say I was shocked when I got a phone call that is was actually in! Just to find out again it was not sized right! So I asked them to please expediate it that I did not need to pay the extra money because I had already waited six and a half weeks on my ring from their mistakes. My ring is suppose to be back in 3 days, we'll see if that happens. So I suggest not getting your jewelry from Zales if you actually want to wear it.
