Can't really comment on the food since I wasn't able to order anything. We walked in with the intention of ordering something to go and went up to the counter where there were 2 women behind the counter dropping food to tables but when done, one got on her cellphone while the other then went to take orders from the tables. We weren't greeted at all. Stood at the counter waiting for a good morning, please give us a few minutes but we got nothing. Not a word uttered to us. We even asked one of the women if we placed our order at the counter and she said yes and that was it. We waited maybe another 2 minutes before walking out. The food was really good! The coffee was nice and strong and the ultimate breakfast was enough for 2 people. The service is a bit slow and you wait for a decent amount of time to be served. Parking isn't great. Many people double park behind you and then you have to wait to leave. O.M.G. you HAVE to eat here! I visited Verde Menta in October 2022. It's Puerto Rico, but they speak English (and Spanish of course) here, no need to use google translate. The place is clean, tons of sunshine, lots of space, and the staff makes you feel like family as soon as you arrive. There are many options for vegetarians (like me) and people who enjoy all foods too. Everything is full of flavor and tasty. I particularly loved their pesto sauce, which was fresh, and their pancakes are like sweet fluffy clouds. Food was ready quickly and it was so cheap! I think we only paid a smidge over $20 for: 1 pancake, pesto toast, fruit salad, large OJ, eggs bacon toast, and a coffee. We were a party of 3. When we entered we were not greeted or instructed where to sit. We proceeded then to seat our selves. A waiter never passed by our table to greet us or take our drinks order. We continued to view the menu to be prepared to order once the waiter came to our table. More people started arriving and the waiters were instructing them where to seat. 10 to 15 minutes has passed by and the waiter still hasn't arrived to our table to take our order. One of the people in my party saw a waiter pass us by and asked her if they were gonna come to our table any time soon as she responded we should continue to wait for them. She then immediately (the waiter) started talking with the table that was behind us. Their conversation was not business related since it was more personal conversations asking each other about their families. We decided to leave the restaurant. Came on Monday morning so was quickly seated and got great service. I was attracted here by the variety of selection, eggs, sandwiches, pancakes, etc. The coffee selection was good too, I got the nuts 4 banana latte, which had banana cream in it and a dollop of frosting, while my wife's regular coffee was good as well. You can basically choose your own pancake toppings from a wide variety. I got the super pancakes, which were filled with blueberries and chia seeds (i think), with nutella and vanilla glaze and fruit. It was great. The place opens at 7:00 am. We arrived at 7:25 and sat for about 15 -20 minutes while the lady counted the money on the register and had conversations with a person she knew. Then someone else came in and she made her a coffee and didn't think twice to take our order! Really? She saw us sitting there waiting. Did it ever occur to her that we are customers ? Did she get any proper customer service training ? She didn't wash her hands and then came to take our order. At that time I was just so disgusted we changed our minds about ordering a meal. Instead I ordered a coffee and a tea. This is the worst customer service I have experienced in Puerto Rico. Looks like she was by herself but complaining and chatting a about it and getting on her cell does not make up for it. I was so turned off I am not coming back here again. Great spot to stop for quick lunch/breakfast. Super friendly staff, very fresh food. Tostadas with guava was wonderful. Crispy crust with a very soft center to the bread. It's so lovely. Local coffee grounds are served and all ingredients are fresh and meals made to order. Absolutely delicious! So clean and the service was fantastic. I tried the vanilla latte and blueberry corn and regular pancakes. Everything was made to perfection. My grandmother had the eggs with veggies, cheese and turkey. Unfortunately, it will be my last visit for the following reasons: -I waited about an hour for the food. -Since the moment I came in I didn't feel welcomed. I stood up for a few minutes and no one responded immediately to greet me and invite me to seat down. -The food was brought w/o my juice and water and I had to remind the waitress about it. -The table next to me received the food first and the people came in after me.
