The coffee menu is great and there are many choices to choose from and they also offer quite a lot of small bites options to choose from.Pricing is decent, good value for money and the place is more suitable for a group of people. Love this place especially the vibes here! Great location in downtown Oakville with high quality coffee ( yeah hard to find one that is not Starbucks or Tims) and delicious bakery. I was perusing Kerr Street last week during my lunch hour and had every intention on visiting Vereda for the first time ever. Why? Because their second Oakville location is opening super close to me and I couldn't wait a moment longer to try out their coffee. This particular spot has a cute (but currently closed) inside that is definitely a cute spot to set up and work or have chats with a friend post-covid. For now, they have a lovely little patio out front if you have time to enjoy that. I ordered a medium roast coffee and a gluten free cranberry cookie. The coffee was great - super hot! It actually remained hot until I was finished my lunch. The staff were friendly and the place was spotless. My cookie was a nice treat later in the afternoon. Now my excitement to visit the new location is even more heightened - stay tuned! read more

Warning: This rating is likely skewed as this was my first time having a coffee out on a patio! Located right on Kerr, I really enjoyed my experience here at Vereda Central. Vereda is located inside an old house and I believe it is 2 levels! I'm not sure as only the outdoor patios were open at the time of my visit. There were a few tables out in front and a smaller table in the back of the café. The REAL bonus here is that you're able to select light/medium/dark roast for your espresso drinks! I love this as I'm not really into dark or smokey coffee. Atmosphere seemed relaxed, but then again, café wasn't at a normal functioning level, re: COVID. It was ~$10 for an iced latté + pastry, so pretty much inline with Starbucks or any other café. As for parking, you can park on the relatively busy Kerr St OR on the nearby residential streets. read more

On the way to Hamilton so trying a few coffee places while passing by Oakville. :) Found this from google so giving it a try, so this is my first visit! The inside looks clean and has a nice vibe to it. The baristas there (Sat) is very friendly and I enjoyed chatting while waiting for my coffee! Ordered a flat white and I am quite happy they let me choose dark/medium/light roast. Since I always have dark roast espresso for flat white so I decided to give a light roast a try. Taste abit fruity but yet still have a the coffee taste to it. The foam is quite nicely stretched and the latte art is still at the bottom of my cup when I finished my drink! Since I enjoyed the Flat white, might as well try the v60 pourover... I selected bean that has the tangerine tasting note. The cup is quite balanced with the fruitiness/sweet/slight bitterness. A good cup! I gotta say, the selection pastry there goes quite well with the coffee I ordered, at least to my taste. Multi-grain Crossiant to my flat white and the blueberries yogurt pastry to my v60. The pastry quality is average quality on what u typically expect from a coffee shop but I do find the pastry I tried this time compliment quite well with the coffee. Therefore 5 stars for this first time experience here because of that - mainly because I enjoyed my coffee at the end. 5 stars is not because of the pastry. Tried out this coffee shop on Kerr by word of mouth. Cute and a large space that's good for work, with pastries and some little hot food items. Ice latte was $7 with soy milk which is pretty pricey and a lot more than Starbucks with smaller sizes and less options. Would come here to do work because of the relaxing environment. But the drinks were too expensive and not worth the price tag. read more

Have nothing but good things to say about Vereda. It's a nice addition to the Kerr St strip and offers wifi unlike some other cafes on the street (wink wink) for those of us looking for a chill place to work for a few hours. ($1 refills on brew coffee too! that is key) Standard espresso-based drinks are on offer of course, but you can also get your java via aeropress or Chemex. And the specialty beans that Vereda has on offer are really nice too. Knowledgeable staff will give you more info on tasting notes, etc. They have a cool set-up overall... a bunch of tables on the main floor of the cafe for 1-2 people + a bigger space upstairs with a big table for 6-8 people + comfy chairs and loungers. read more

I tried this coffee house for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. This cafe offers amazing crafted espressos and pastries, plus empanadas. Their cappuccino is the best tasting coffee that I've tasted in awhile. I loved their space and service was great! read more

I have been here before when I didn't have a baby and really enjoyed this spot! It was easy then not to notice the major inconvenience of entering the coffee shop. There is no accessibility here, no ramp and also many steps. I would have turned around but a patron saw me struggling helped me in and then I was kind of stuck ordering there. I got an iced chai latte, I asked the barista for help getting back out and down so my coffee didn't spill everywhere as I went down the 4/5 steps. He was very nice! Unfortunately once I got out the tea bag that was used to make the chai (nice touch real tea leaves instead of syrup) had burst and the leaves were everywhere in my latte. This made it impossible to drink and due to the inaccessibility I couldn't turn around. Waste of $6! I want to love this spot but they really need a ramp for both wheelchairs and strollers. read more
