The first person to help seemed helpful gave us the account number and pin and in case we needed a different pin a number to call. So we walked to the other carrier only to find out they had failed to unlock the phones. So the second time we went back they said we had an outstanding balance on the devices so we paid, and they unlocked them. When we arrived back at the other carrier they said we still had the wrong pin, so I called customer service and it took a supervisor talking to the Verizon rep to figure out the problem. Took five hours of back and forth to get phones from Spectrum to another carrier due to Spectrum reps negligence and inability to do their job right the first time. Deplorable.

I was almost a T-Fiber customer. I placed the order 2 weeks before the installation date and all…read moreseemed well. The day of the installation came and they showed their true colors. The tech was over a hour late, ok I get it, things happen. As he arrived even before he exited his vehicle he was already trying to get out of doing the job. So I called customer service while he sat in his car eating and requested a supervisor. This is where it gets interesting. In the 2 weeks leading up to my appointment there was supposed to be some work done...it wasn't. The tech that arrived admitted he didn't know how to do his job. The Supervisor refused to even try to correct the situation and wanted me to reschedule another 2 weeks out. I declined. The poor guy on the phone clearly the only one qualified to do their job genuinely felt terrible. To make a long story short and not to waste all of you good people's time as they wasted mine. I am a reluctant mediacom customer. But at least they do the work. My neighbor who was already a customer told me their service was intermittent at best and after this lazy tech left had managed to knock him completely offline and told him it would be 2 weeks to fix the issue the tech had just caused for him Do yourselves a favor and stay away from T-Fiber.
