I absolutely do not recommend the store. I waited 2 1/2 hours to have my phone switched, and the customer service agent realize they put the wrong number in. I understand that mistakes happen. Gave them the new information and went to lunch. Came back and representative had gone on break. Then spoke to them via text and gave them all the information they needed to complete my transaction. I don't even want to write this review. I am a long time Verizon customer so this doesn't feel good . Ok, my iPhone 7 started acting up about a week or so ago. I was experiencing things like : no service and phone restarting on it's own. You know , just enough to be extremely irritating! I decided to chat with Verizon customer service on a Friday . The representative who assisted me was helpful . He walked me through a couple of trouble shooting steps to help resolve my issue, so I thought! Unfortunately, it was a temporary fix because my phone starting back experiencing the same problems again on Sunday while at brunch. So ridiculous. Once I finished brunch , I came into this location since it was the one I was closest to. This is a nice busy location but there wasn't a wait . I proceed to tell the gentleman sales associate what was going on with my phone. He immediately told me that what I was experiencing is a known issue with my model IPhone. Interesting. I wonder why this was never mentioned to me on Friday. Ok , whatever . The gentleman ordered a replacement phone for me and thankfully it was still under warranty. I was told that my replacement phone would arrive Monday. Guess what , it didn't come. What an inconvenience! Again, I'm reaching out to Verizon customer service on Monday. More of my time wasted .... not only did I not have a replacement phone but I found out that the phone requested for me was a black phone being delivered on Tuesday! My phone is red so why on earth did the in store sales associate order me anything other than what I currently have?! This is so unacceptable. I expressed all types of frustration , irritation, you name it . "Sorry for your inconvenience " doesn't help in any of this and honestly, I was tired of hearing this. The last Verizon rep I talked to was the one to disclosed to me that this issue I'm having with my phone has been going on since 2017! Excuse me , what? I would have appreciated knowing this when I initially reached out to Verizon on the Friday. Had I known this then , I could have requested a replacement sooner. This makes me so angry! Verizon tried to offer me $20 off my bills to make me feel better . This means nothing to me. NOTHING! This entire experience has been awful and so stupid! Once I get the wrong phone , I was told I could send it back and they would credit my bill the $14.99 shipping fees as well ....... Meanwhile, I'm STILL without a working phone. Guess once I finally get the shipment , I'll waste more time by going to another location that has a red phone in stock to exchange it. All of this could have been prevented had I been told in the very beginning there was a problem with the iPhone 7 model. I really want to change my service after all of this. Terrible customer service. Unwilling to help and extremely rude. I do not know the name of the lady that "helped" me but she acted like she hated her job. They opened at 11 this past Sunday I was the first one in there. All I needed was an upgrade and my phone had one available. She made it seem very difficult. I left because she wouldn't answer my questions. Was very rude. Went to the mountain Brook Verizon and they helped me and got me in and out in less than 45 minutes. read more

I have been with Verizon for 11 years. Their customer service has been spot on...until today. I went to go exchange a merch that I had purchased twenty four hours ago. I got the sales guy who didn't wanna wear his mask properly and had no customer service skills. He didn't appear to be happy doing his job either. I asked him ( name unknown..never introduced himself) if the price of a wireless speaker he said ya, 119.00, the box price said it too. He goes to scan it and it rang up 10.00 more I questioned him and his reply was "I can't go changing the price. Went to store to cancel line. I have cancelled it three times and still getting bills. They gave me a "dedicated" line. Still on the call and it's been 30 minute. Sitting in the store - no one offered any advice on how to make this less painful. Do not use version. Use another carrier. These guys are all about your money - no service. Spectrum is much better - no contracts And lower cost. Easily can change lines. read more

Visited the store on Lakeside Drive today to cancel a line and they would not help me do so. Instead the salesman gave me a 1 800 number to call. Did so. After waiting for 45 minutes decided to hang up. Seems verizon is quick to upgrade your phone or plan but of no help should you no longer need a line on your account. Poor poor customer assistance!! Terrible customer service. Went in to change a line over to a family plan. Was told we had to call to do so and given the number and told we could call and then get the other issues taken care of. Surely they know their own business office is only open Monday to Friday. Had three sales people approach us to "help" us, and then tell us they were actually busy finishing up previous business. Todd at the Brookwood store in Birmingham, AL was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Gave us his card and told us to contact him with any questions concerning our plan and phones. My husband and I were also impressed by the outgoing staff that assisted us before Todd wrapped up the sale. They all seemed welcoming and had positive attitudes. The Brookwood store in Birmingham knew what they were doing. Things actually went a lot smoother than my husband and I anticipated. They have a positive vibe there and things moved quickly and efficiently even though we were 3rd in line when we arrived. It took around 30min to choose our plan and set up our phones. The service is expensive in my opinion, but they do offer several service options. After being with Verizon for over a month, it has been WAAAAAAY better than Sprint and this location provided a pleasant experience when it comes to switching or getting a phone service. read more

Poor experience with staff today. I went in mulling a possible switch from iPhone to an Android phone. They were minimally helpful and seemed overall disinterested in selling me a phone. Was like pulling teeth to get details and good answers out of my attendant. They just seemed to be poorly trained and indifferent to my presence as a customer needing advice and insight. They knew very little about the products on the market. Would be nice if a bright, young, polite, well-mannered, eager, white person with an IQ above 100 worked there. read more
