I visited the store to pick up an order that I had placed through Verizon. As I approached the store, I suffered a fall in the parking lot. The fall caused immediate and severe pain, and I believed I had seriously injured my ankle. I was also experiencing significant pain in my lower back and right wrist. After falling, I was crying and struggling to move. I observed employees standing near the front of the store at the kiosk area who appeared to witness the incident. Despite my visible distress and inability to stand, no one came outside to check on me or offer assistance. I was forced to crawl on my knees and eventually drag myself up and into the store because I feared remaining in the parking lot where vehicles were actively driving through the area. Once inside the store, I immediately asked for the manager and requested that someone call 911. I informed the employee assisting me that I was there to pick up an order but that I needed emergency medical assistance. A man who identified himself as Donald and stated that he was the manager came out to speak with me. According to my recollection, he stated that they were not nurses or doctors and that they sold phones, and he refused to call 911 on my behalf. Instead, I was told to call 911 myself. At that point, I was in extreme pain, crying, and struggling to communicate. Nevertheless, I called 911 on my own. When the dispatcher requested the store address, I was unable to provide it, and a Verizon employee eventually supplied the address to the dispatcher. What was most upsetting to me was not simply the fall itself, but what I perceived to be a complete lack of compassion, concern, and basic assistance during a medical emergency occurring directly outside and inside a Verizon corporate location. I felt dismissed and abandoned at a time when I was clearly injured and in distress. As a result of this incident, I sustained multiple injuries and have required medical attention. In addition to the physical injuries, the experience has left me deeply upset and yconcerned about the level of customer care demonstrated at this location. I am not writing this letter to criticize Verizon as a company. In fact, I hope that this incident is not representative of Verizon's values or expectations for customer service. My purpose is to ensure that senior leadership is aware of what occurred and to request a thorough review of the incident. read more

The Store is actually not bad ince you get someone to spear to you, but the wait is forever. You can't clearly see how AI will displace the Staff here. Most of what they do can be done remotely. You wait an hour, just for them to call an offshore/inshore customer service to connect your device! It is horrible. They don't have enough people, and it makes coming here a waste of time. It's not off and I have to visit a remote phone service store, and most of the time I'm not happy with the service and knowledge in these independent locations. Today however was different. I have a company phone that I needed to replace but only needed the Sim card from Verizon. This is a process having to go through my company for approval but the manager here was on his a game, advised me I needed to bring an approval document that I am able to make changes to this account and then I could pick it up in the morning.My IT team with my company got me the necessary documentation, I brought it in and ask for the same manager, waited a short time and he brought up my account on his pad to complete the transaction. The store was crowded, there was adequate staff helping people and my situation was handled in less than 10 minutes and I was on my way to myCompany office so I could get my phone operational. As my past experiences with remote offices for AT&T or Verizon have never been pleasant (I buy everything from Apple directly) I have to give kudos to this location for being on the ball and certainly handling my situation with no complication and knowledge of what to do. This is one of the biggest Verizon stores I've ever been to. The customer service was really quick. When I first got there I had 3 people ahead of me in line. Within 4 minutes I was being helped by a rep. I just needed another SIM card for my Iphone. I was out of the store within 10 minutes max. I would recommend this store to anyone. read more

Came here to return a phone and get a screen protector should've only taken no more than 5mins. It took them 30min just to sign me in on the waiting list and now I sit here waiting even longer it's been 54mins since then. Terrible service, slow delivery on the sales team. If I could I would give them a negative number. I have had a terrible experience with Verizon, two years ago and I thought things may have changed so I tried to go back. They have tons of hidden charges they charged me $165 just to join. My first bill was $514.00 activation fee we're supposed to be waived and free phones. Customer service had me on the phone for over an hour and nothing got solved. I am mad at myself for signing a contract with them and we'll get out of it as soon as I can. T-Mobile is great. I've been with Verizon for over 25 years. This is by far the best location I've ever visited. Looks like they used to have service issues but not with me! Over the past 3-4 days I visited them twice to upgrade two different phones and trade in two phones. I had two different sales persons and I felt both were highly professional. I have never enjoyed going into a Verizon store for service or to upgrade phones. The environment in most stores reminds me of buying a car. Most apply pressure and try to sell things you just don't need or want. This location is very clean, they are well staffed and knowledgeable. I wish that I had asked her name, but I didn't think about it before now. Very professional female sales person, possibly if Korean, Japanese or Chinese background. She was multitasking like nothing I've seen and doing 5 things at once while still explaining to me what she was doing. All in all she was able to get me in and out in about 15-20 minutes. Strongly recommend this location and whomever manages it should give their staff a bonus! read more

I walked in the store a man from the back yelled, "ma'am are you here for a pick up or an appointment? " I said no I don't have an appointment. He said sign in and it will be an hour and 20 minutes. My parents, who are in their mid 70's, had to get new phones because there i-phone's were out dated. The Buford location would not assist them in transferring there contacts to the new phone. They told them to get on line on and follow the directions. Then they advised them to travel to another store to get this done. I have been twice to this store. 1.) I ordered a phone online to pickup. Upon arrival the employee constantly tried to sell me various accessories that went alone with the phone. I respectfully decline. It almost took 20 minutes just to explain I didn't want any accessories and almost 40 minutes to pick up a phone I ordered online. I ordered online so I could pick up the phone and leave as soon as possible due to time constraints. Not to constantly tell you I don't need something over and over again. 2.) Went in the store to deal with a situation my dad had with his phone. The employee completely ignores the situation my dad has and brings up my eligibility on upgrading with the new edge program. I decline. The employee then constantly pressured me into signing up. He then stated he couldn't understand my reasoning for not signing up. Why do I need to tell you my personal reasoning for not signing up with your program? In both events I was helped by the same employee. It's ridiculous that I have to be constantly sold something even when I decline. Then be questioned on my decision like I'm an idiot. I will not be coming back to this location. read more

Horrible customer service and bad practices. My husband and I were with them for over 15 years and just recently switched to AT&T to save money. We disconnected and ported lines upon switching, however, the person at Verizon never did their job. Just got stuck with two bills for service that we never used. When we called to inquire about the bills, they were unwilling to recognize their error and waive all fees associated with the cancel of service. If you use the Verizon location at the Mall of Georgia make sure you are getting what you asked for. I recently went in to check on getting a new phone at this location. My wife and I talked with a Verizon person later to find out it was the store manager. We have been looking for about a year for a buy one get one deal and had just stopped by to see what specials they had. That day the manager was very personable and provided what we thought was great service. Turned out it was not. We already knew what phone we wanted and were planning on purchasing the phone out right as we didn't want the monthly charges added to our bill. I made this very clear to her that I didn't want my bill to go up. At first she said Verizon did not have any special on that phone and I was good with that. Then she wanted to know how long we had been customers with Verizon. She pulled up our account and told us that we had customer loyalty rewards which made little warning bells go off because this wasn't the first Verizon store we had looked at and no other store had brought that up since we had started looking. She stated that we could get the phone for $300 off the price. Again I asked her multiple times would this make my bill go up and she said no. I made it very clear to her that I did not want monthly charges on the phone. She again said that there would not be a bill increase. She said we could get the same deal on the second phone. So with what I thought was a good deal we decided to go ahead and get me a new phone too. So now we were getting two phones. We paid for the phones with the discounted price or so we thought we did. The phones had to be ordered. I received my phone first and noticed right off the bat the invoice price on the phone was for the regular price. Then, luckily, I received an update notice from Verizon showing what my new monthly payment would be. Guess what, the bill went up. My wife did not get her phone as they put the wrong address. Turns out the manager had lied to our face. She had taken what we thought was the full payment for the phones at the time and listed it as a down payment on the phones. We were going to have to pay a monthly fee on both phones for 24 months which would have been full price for the phones. Needless to say I went up and canceled the order and now looking to change providers. We did do some checking and found out that this Verizon is a franchise store owned by Verizon TCC. The part that really made me made was when I went back in to cancel the order, I asked the manager about this and she rolled her eyes and a little pshht sound and wouldn't even look at me. So just be aware of this. If we would not have caught this within the 10 day period to cancel it we would have stuck with this. read more

Lazy! Did I say these people (assuming they were people) were lazy. I went in and they were just sitting around on their Devices doing nothing. I asked one guy if they sold obo Ed and he looked at me like I was crazy, I said well I need to upgrade my phone. He looks at the other 2 employees and said "Do you want to handle?" She's like nah, you got it. He turned to the other guy and he's mah bro take care of him, I explained my device was damaged, which is I wanted to upgrade. Yesterday, I had to go by Verizon store near the Mall of GA, and a lot has changed since COVID-19. Now, the process when interacting with customers requires you to wait outside until a representative checks you in. Now, in most cases, customers never get the opportunity to walk into the store. But, despite all of the new "impersonal" processes, my son and I check-in initially at 3:15 PM, and we stay until a little after the store closed. I have to say that the level of customer service I received was superb, and Donald & Adrienne never allow our customer experience to go astray regardless of my son's indecisiveness. read more

I went in because my iphone 6 just stopped working. It would only read "searching" top left, and couldn't receive or make calls. I got it 6 months ago, so I was a bit upset. When you pay over $200 for your bill/phone etc you just want it to work. The guy I worked with, Terry, was very patient and persistent about getting my phone to work again. I was there alone for awhile with my 3 year old and 6 month old, and he didn't seem to be bothered by their antsy-ness. He finally got on the phone with tech-support and they suggested that I go down the road to the Apple Store and have them look at it. At first I was a bit disappointed, because with a busy toddler and hungry 6 month old at nearly 4pm and still an hour away from home, it just wasn't something I could do that day. Which would mean I'd have to go back out at some point Thanksgiving week (crazy schedules and holiday shopping...). I gave in and started investigating how much it would cost for a new phone altogether. At this point it just seemed worth the cost to avoid the hassle. He insisted I didn't want to do that, and that he could see what he could do... Finally a woman stepped in ( I believe the manager) and said that she could override whatever it was, to get me a replacement phone this week. Whatever they did, I'm very grateful for both of them. For making an unfortunate situation right. It wasn't their fault my phone stopped working; they really did not have to do that. They were attentive and proactive about fixing my situation. We used to have ATT for our mobile devices and I know for a fact they would not have done that. I know it's easy to "get mad" at places like these and leave negative reviews , but I just wanted to give credit to 2 employees who deserve it and who made by day and hectic week little less stressful! Went the Verizon store to activate an iPhone. Told by Asst Mgr Bryant Villada that I would have to pay an additional $90 to activate the number I wanted. When I told him that the people at the 611 center said I could, he told me that they didn't know what they were doing. He was very condescending. Still had to wait for 20+ minutes to get one of the Verizon reps hiding out in the back to come out and help us. Channting (that's his name) was extremely rude and unhelpful. At one point his phone rang and he just walks away. He comes back after completing the call and doesn't even apologize and refuses to swap the phone. I ask to see the manager and was told they they are all in a meeting. I request that the manager Keith Fine call me and I get a call from someone else. This location has the worst customer service. As I was waiting to be helped, there was another man in front of me waiting to be helped. The rep rudely told the guy to wait and then preceded to get my information. The man stormed out and left. The rep (Ron) just blew him off and said oh well. I told Ron that I was interested in buying a new phone. He brought me over to some of the new phones and I asked him questions about a particular phone. Ron looked at me and said, "Read the description. It tells you everything you need to know". I said to Ron that he's the expert and he should be able to answer my questions. I could not believe how rude he was being to me, but I still managed to remain calm. As a teacher, having patience is one of my strengths. I asked Ron another question and he puts one finger up and tells me to wait. He turns around and talks to his manager about cologne. I could not believe this was happening. The manager and Ron stood there for 1 minute talking about cologne. Not only was this rude, but I felt so uncomfortable. All I wanted was a new phone. When Ron finally finished talking about cologne, he then asked me if I wanted the phone or not. I looked and him and disbelief and told him I would never buy anything from him, his manager and this store. I walked out and will never go back. I now understand why the customer in front of me walked out. What a horrible experience. I was so ready to give up on Verizon after my experience, but I decided to visit the Verizon on Hamilton Mill near Wal-Mart. The experience I had at the Hamilton Mill location was a huge difference. The store was busy, but I was greeted immediately. Both reps kept apologizing for the wait. I was then helped by Jonathan Torres. I didn't tell him about my horrible experience because I didn't want to bring any negativity into this already welcoming location. I have to say Jonathon was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. He answered every question I had and didn't rush me one bit. He even made me laugh with his funny stories. I went from having a bad experience with Verizon on Buford Dr. to having a Great experience at the Verizon on Hamilton Mill thanks to Jonathon. Spent An arm and a leg on the s4 and after a few days discovered that apps were popping up on their own when the phone was touched. I kept feeling a vibration and it got stronger if you tapped the back of the phone. I read a few reviews of people who said they had a similar problem with the vibration and that they took them in and they were replaced no problem. I went to take mine back and the lady kept tapping the back saying " I don't feel anything" after arguing with her and her telling me there was nothing she can do cause she doesn't see a problem. ..i insisted there was....finally she hands it to another guy and says. ..."here I don't feel anything do you (as if I'm making this up)" and the guy says yeah I definitely feel something wrong. She finally gave me a new phone but had another guy bring it out to me. He was the same guy that helped me activate it and looks at me and says..." you're re returning it because of that? It's probably just a loose or missing screw in the back" if I'm paying $300+ for this phone and I want to return it because of a loose screw causing apps to randomly open....Then you're sure as hell right I am.
