Unlike these other reviewers, I had a great experience here. I had been trying to upgrade my phone and tried 3 previous times to do so. The first 2 times were just "missed opportunities" but the last time I walked out of the door in the middle of a sale from the Rt 73 store because the guy was selling me just so hard. Uncomfortably so. Anyway, on a whim I decided to go here at lunch today and had *great* service. No hard sell, awesome customer service (I interacted w both with the (I'm presuming) store manager and my salesman (a younger, handsome guy w dark hair and well dressed - everyone was dressed, actually, but I digress...) and i got exactly what I wanted, didn't feel pressured in the least, and the salesman apologized to me (!!?!?) for how long it was taking bc my POS phone wasn't connecting to wifi. Plus, you could tell the staff had good personalities - it was pretty crowded being a holiday - and seeing the positive, laid back interactions from everyone was pretty cool. I had to get a new phone while in Jersey. This place was horrible. First I had the most unhelpful Indian man who was incredibly rude and just wanted to get rid of me. Super unimpressed. FIRST, we get there, and although the hours on the door say 8pm, and besides the fact that there were 4 employees there, they stated that they were closing at 5 due to "lack of staff." Second, you check in on their little system, then stand around and wait. I was told there were 4 people ahead of me, so I asked if they send you a text when you're next or whatever, and they told me no. So, we just stood around for 25 minutes while they handled the other customers. Third, no one here knew what the fuck they were talking about. They checked my account, found out I had the $17 a month phone protection package, then told me that it was "about $125" to fix my screen. (This information formed my opinion to just upgrade, which is probably what they wanted anyway....but more on this in a second...) I found out later, through my own damn research of reading the fine print, that my repair would have only been $29. NOT "about $125." About that upgrade.....before I came in to the store, I checked online to see what was available to me, and ONLINE, Verizon said they would offer me "$425" for my DAMAGED phone, if I upgraded to an iphone 12. (I didn't see an option to go for a 13). But, when I went to the store, they said they would give me "$51 for the phone outright, or $100 for an upgrade to iphone 12, or $300 for an upgrade to iphone 13." I told him about the online price, (complete with screen shots), and he was like, "well.....uh....do that. Yeah, I can't offer that here." SO, we leave, and I go home to do the damn upgrade myself, and when I inquired ONLINE about an upgrade to an iphone 13, they gave me EIGHT. HUNDRED. DOLLARS. WTF was the store talking about? They were going to, AT MOST, give me $500 LESS than that.....after OVERcharging me about $100 for a repair that I had insurance for. One dude had 3D glasses on as his all day glasses. The "manager" was more concerned with locking up the phones in the safe than she was with helping anyone standing around waiting to be helped. The protein bro that WAS initially helpful, wrapped up with a customer, then went to the back for a GOOD 20 minutes, leaving me with employee #4, who gave us a hard time because the account is under my wifes maiden name, and he wouldn't help us until we produced SOMETHING with that name on it. A complete and utter waste of time coming here, and I got off lucky. At BEST I would've been overcharged $100 for a repair, and at worst, would've left $500 on the table for a trade in. App does not let me sign in as it says zip code not recognized. I am inputting my correct zip. While my opinion of Verizon may not be the best, this location was great. I've been trapped in an unending purgatory with a device I purchased through Verizon. I've been trying to rectify the situation since October and this location, specifically Jess, was the only person that could figure it out for me. The vibe here was very friendly and hospitable. Everyone I talked to from the check in guy at the door to the lady helping me were very personable and helpful. I know my little issue was difficult and weird but they got the job done! I appreciate the friendliness and hard work of the associates here and will make this my store for whatever else I need from Verizon. read more

I would have given this 5 stars the day I made my purchase of my new phone but after noticing a $79.99 charge for an item I said I DID NOT WANT I was really upset. The sales person tried to push the " bundle and save" on me. I needed a phone case and screen protector but she then said if you get the wireless charging dock, you'll save more. I declined and only wanted the two items I requested. She rushed through saying everything was good and sent us on our way. I would not have even noticed if my daughter said she wanted an upgrade, so I logged on to my account. There was that charge that I thought was taken off! It took me a while to contact customer service ( as the sales people at the store) were unavailable to talk. The Verizon customer service rep was able to assist me and the charge will be credited. I will not be going back to that location and will ALWAYS double check my receipts even when the salespeople say that everything is taken care of! read more

Well, it seems that I got a problem with internet. The computer noticed that the websites can't load because the Wi-Fi trouble or that the network box is acting up. But it turns out, that it's good now so I think it's safe to say... The network's work here is done! read more

My husband and I just left the Verizon Wireless Store in the Racetrack shopping center In Cherry Hill. We were pleasantly surprise by what a great experience we had. I thought that I needed a new phone but Reverend Valerie solved my problem and all I needed was to close some apps and a new case. My husband did need a new phone and she set it up for us. I She was professional and very knowledgeable. While we were there an irate customer came in. She was yelling and cursing. The manager handled her in a very professional way. Avoid salesman Jon P. I won't go so far as to call him a snake-oil salesman, but he *will* bamboozle you with *his* version of your options. Unfortunately his aggressive sales techniques deprive customers of making informed choices that are in /our/ best interests. No one like to be made to feel like a chump and sadly that's where I am after my encounter. I suggest going with another salesperson and you're likely to get a three- or possibly four star experience. I'm generally pleased with Verizon service and products. And while this isolated (and terribly costly) experience hasn't ruined me on their brand completely, it certainly has made me cautious of growing my business relationship with the Company. I recently purchased a brand new home and wanted to have fios in my new home. I called more than ten times to ascertain that verizon could have the service in my new home. They made an appointment to install their service for 9/25 /2021. They called me back on 9/19/2021 and said they couldnt do it until October 15 leaving me with no tv and internet for 3 weeks. Comcast put it in 2 days after i called with more channels and lower price. Also i needed a new phone d0uring all this and went to Verizon store in Voorhees nj wher the Salesperson Told me i should go to ATT which i did and got two new phones from somebody who cared. read more

This store does bad business. The managers and sales people (the people who have worked with me as a customer) LIE to you in order to sell you a plan, accessories, etc. I was lied to multiple times at this store regarding a bundle of accessories I had purchased AND a plan I had purchased. The sales person claimed I had to choose 6 items to be a bundle, but afterwards the manager said my bundle was 3 items, with 3 extra items. Therefore, the salesperson LIED to me just to make more commission. Also... I traded in my old phone and was told I would receive an email with a giftcard for the old phone....never did. I was then told it would be applied as a credit....nope never happened. I had to call customer service and get a different answer each time. These people are frauds and dont deserve loyal customers. I'll be calling corporate on these fakes. read more

One star service! I came in with an android that would not turn on. They couldn't diagnose the problem and after they confirmed my knowledge that it was not a battery issue by swapping the battery, they recommended a replacement. I refused this because they would not be able to recover the phone internal memory. When I got home I researched the issue on android forums. They described how to get the phone into boot mode by holding down both volume buttons while plugging in a charger, then running a restoration utility. It worked and my phone was back to normal in mere minutes! No thanks to Verizon's customer service, in the Garden State plaza store. read more

I visited Verizon on a Sunday to get a new phone and between transferring my contacts/pictures, updating my plan, and ensuring I was setup for international access Kevin had his hands full, however, you wouldn't know it. He was super attentive to my questions and offering additional features to my plan without any additional costs. His people skills and product knowledge gave me confidence in this store and it's now my go-to for my phone needs. Like I said, ask for Kevin. read more

I do not recommend going to this Verizon location. The staff was very strange and not welcoming at all. I have had Verizon for years and am a loyal customer. I had some questions about my plan and abroad services that I needed help with. The lady who helped us did not appear to be well informed and I was not clear on the information she was giving me. She was not particularly friendly and I left feeling like I needed to call Verizon to speak with someone else. When I went in, the store was empty but there were lots of employees just standing around not doing anything. No one jumped in to help the situation when it was clear I was confused, they also just stood around staring. I have been there a couple times and never been satisfied. I was victimized by a salesman named Nick who sold me a new Motorola phone, the fourth Android I have purchased from Verizon in the last ten years. I wanted a new phone as I was taking a cross country trip and lo and behold, the phone is less than a week old and the camera in my new phone does not work. No pictures....my vacation is ruined. Nick upsold me on various extras and asked me to give him one of the top two rating or he'd be in trouble. He rushes me out of the store after I paid over $700.00 for the phone, and the one week old phone is defective. I hate salesmen who after they get your money, they dump you like a bad habit. read more

And we could not be happier with the service and the friendliness of the staff. They were all just wonderful. This is now our first go to Verizon store. We had used Verizon for 20 years....until Friday nite. About 2 months ago my husband bought a new phone from this store and we happily accepted the deal of also receiving an ipad. We asked the salesperson if there was any catch to this deal and he said "no". The saleman never told us there was a monthly fee attached to the ipad. We have had an ipad in the past and there was no monthly fee to pay for cellular capability. We did not even know the ipad had this function nor wanted it. Lo and behold we get our bill Friday and there on it is an additional phone # and a 15.00 charge. We called Verizon customer service and complained. They told us to go back to the store and we could return the ipad. she even said she would make a notation on our account that we were authorized to return the item. Well, we go back to the Garden State Verizon store and were told we could not return the ipad. There was no message from customer service AND when I asked them to cut off the service on it they said it would cost ME $175.00 to do so. They did nothing to help us...NOTHING. We left the store and drove right to AT&T. We cancelled our phones and plan with Verizon and AT&T is paying for our fees and 3 of us got brand new updated phones for the same monthly fee. I went from having what is usually a good experience to a crappy experience at this store. I want to say right off the bat, that the associate named Kyle is great. I've talked to him in the past while browsing on a slow day. Unfortunately he was off when I stopped by. I was greeted promptly by a woman behind the counter, told that there are 2 people ahead of me, and would be about 20 minutes or so. Not a problem, they looked pretty busy. Apparently greeting is pretty much the only thing she does. Well greet people and text/play games on her phone. That's it. She can't even count. After 2 people were helped, a third person was called a head of me. Okay, fine. I can roll with it. Although, I'm pretty sure I walked into the store ahead of customer #3. Finally after 30 minutes, it was my turn. An associate walked over and asked how he can help. I told him I wanted to buy two phones, one for my wife and the other for me. He made it sound like it was not a problem. Sooooo.... Inquired about the Motorola Turbo 2 for my wife, to see if there are any deals on it. The associate didn't know. Nor did he know the price. Or where it was to see the price. He kept asking me why I wanted to buy the phones out right. That I should just use payment plan. I told him, if there was a deal, I would consider it. He asked me what phone I wanted. I told him one of the Samsung Galaxy phones. I know I want one of them, just not sure which, and was hoping bouncing thoughts off the associate would help me pick. Nope. He just kept asking which one I want. I asked what about the differences, and he asked me which one I wanted. So he picked the Note 7 and said he'll see if there are any deals. He came back with the a deal. $155/month deal. That was for Turbo 2, Note 7, a tablet and HUM. He said how does this deal sound? I looked at him and said, I don't know why there is a tablet or hum here, but NO. The two items that are not phones are not required. He looked at me puzzled. I was starting to lose my patience now. Decided to tell the associate that I'll get the Motorola Z Play for my wife, and I'll go with the Note 7 in blue. The associate goes in the back. For a while. (I should mention, the Verizon Wireless website said this store had the phones I was interested in, in stock.) I talked to another customer, still waiting for their turn with an associate. Finally (I figure at least 5 minutes later) the associate returns, with no phones in his hands. He told me they have the Motorola, but no Note 7s in any color. Hey, the phone was recalled, and was just allowed to go back on sale. No problem. I understand. So I say, okay, I'll go with the Galaxy S7 Edge. Again, the associate disappears into the back. Again, after 5 minutes or so he walks out, phoneless. He said they have no Edges. At this point I was at the store for 45-55 minutes. It was at this point it my patience had run out. I knew more about the phones than the associate. He didn't seem to interested in helping me pick out a phone for myself or my wife. He had no answers. They have no phones in the back. I told them I'll just go online to order a phone instead, and thanked them for wasting my time and left. All in all, miserable experience. I saw how all the other customer a head of me received good service. questions answered, and advice given. Another associate told a customer to consider waiting or pre-ordering the iPhone 7 + instead of getting the 6+. The type of service I was waiting for. My other problem is, why have stores if they don't actually carry a decent stock of phones. I looked at the website. Only one or two phones was listed as having more than 1 in stock. It isn't like I asked for an obscure phone, I asked for something popular. Usually stores keep a good supply of popular items, so they can make sales. Did I mention that unlike at other stores that will order out of stock product for you at the store, they don't here. Maybe it's a corporate thing. I don't know. Seems like bad customer service. Again, what's the point of having a store to sell your product if they don't really stock anything, or order anything, existing as a place where you can look at the product? Go home and order it, or to the Best Buy to get it there? If I go back to that store, I'll make sure Kyle is working, before I waste my time. read more

Worst store experience ever! I upgraded online. Unfortunately with holiday crush it wasn't going to arrive in time so the rep told me to go to a retail store so I went to this store. After being jerked around and told I wasn't eligible for an upgrade I had to call Verizon who had to get the Verizon rep to call to the store. After literally four times being sent back to this store for "misunderstandings," I gave up. The staff stinks. The manager, Christian, was completely unhelpful. They had a pregnant rep there that was dressed like a slob with greasy hair in a pony tail dragging herself around the store doing nothing. She too was completely unhelpful. I called Verizon to file a complaint. They offered to call the store. So here I sit on hold 15 minutes later waiting for christian to answer. Poor, poor service. read more

Disreputable, dishonest, and unethical business practices here. Bait and switch plan was done on new smart phone purchase. I was quoted price that included trade-in of old phone. When next bill arrived more than 30 days later, I learned that I had unwittingly been enrolled in a lease program that changed terms of my plan. I only made purchase due to salesperson promotion of sale price and assuring me that the cost was total. I had no intention of buying phone on lease plan which is a far greater total cost. I was instructed to pick out new case and was given phone charge as they were "free" and later learned that cost was deducted from trade-in balance. I did not receive itemized receipt in store and was lied to regarding what was being signed on small iPad type screen that could not be readily viewed. Verizon customer service was unable or unwilling to make full restitution although some credit was provided. . read more
