The man that helped us was very informative! It took a little bit, but we had a lot going on! We had to move my parents off my line and move them into their own line. Then move me from my line onto my fiancées line. He was very helpful and was able to get everything taken care of! My parents are older so he was able to explain it to them in a way so that their heads wouldn't explode because they don't understand why things cost so much. read more

Beware of dishonesty here and surprise charges. As others have stated, Yelp requires a minimum 1 star rating but I would not give these guys any stars if that were an option. Do you consider this to be honest? We spent an hour or two with a sales guy yesterday at this store buying a new phone. We were told that we could not pay 100% of the phone cost that day - must finance at least 50%. We could pay off the financed amount after 30 days with no prepayment penalty. Made no sense to me. When I questioned it I was told it was the rule and prevented fraud. Today I spoke to 800 Toll Free customer service to ask about some items on my bill. One was $13/month insurance that had been added yesterday without my knowledge. The bigger issue was when I asked about this requirement to finance and I was told - no way. No requirement. This is just a means of the store or agent making a commission on the financing. My review on Google Maps was answered with 'sorry for the miscommunication'. Grow up. I went to this store to get my Iphone 7 set up because I was nearby for business; generally I go to the Beechmont store because that is close to where I live. Never again will I visit this location. Rude store representative, seemed to enjoy trying to make me feel stupid which was amusing since he seemed to know less than me about what he was doing. Think I will stay on the east side where the store workers are helpful and nice. read more

I went in trying to fix an issue with my data that I had been trying to fix for quite a few days now and although I received good service the first time I went in today, the second time I was skipped over twice in my car while waiting to get called in. I had to go up and ask if I was going to be let in. Then, when I tried to explain what my father had said over the phone (since he is the account manager and is 300 miles away from me), I was given a nasty attitude about how the issue could not be resolved unless he was in the store with me. I understood that, but the support team over the phone was telling us one thing and the employees I was talking to said another so it was confusing. I really didn't want to go in another time today, but I really needed this issue fixed as soon as possible. I felt like I had multiple people surround me, rudely telling me the same thing. I felt judged, neglected, and badly treated. I never once had a problem with Verizon when my family used to have it, so this was quite disappointing and an overall horrible experience for me. read more

So I have now hade my phones for 2 months. The night I got my phones I was told by Kevin my bill would be about $160 a month for 2 phone. First bill came three days after activation sure enough bill was as advertised $160. Now 20 something days later I get my second bill $468 dollars you have got to be kidding me ! Go into the store to speak with Kevin I was there for about an hour and he informed he put a bunch of credits on my account and I should be seeing those take effect in the next couple of days and gave me his cell number if I had anymore problems. Week later yup the credits still are not there. I call and text him he responds to text saying he will take care of it and let me know when he has. A day goes by and nothing, so I shoot him a text, he says he's sorry and his Manager credited my account. A week later now my account still does not show any reflections of what he promised. The night I got the phones he praised how well Verizon took care of their veterans and first responders being both I was blown away by the service, the night I got the phones, but since that night it has been nothing short of a nightmare. I call 611 on my phone and they are of zero help and tell me to go back tot he store. Switching to Verizon was the biggest mistake of my life, now they are going to have me bent over a barrel for the next two years ! Inconsistent customer service some are good and some are horrible attitudes. I've spent a lot of money at this store over the years, and it has been pretty good except for the last year or more. I purchased a phone a week ago, the salesperson was very good. Today I go in when they opened to try to exchange the defective phone, and the guy who opened the door and said to line up was extremely rude and short. Telling me there is no exchanges without even explaining why and walked off like he was in some huff attitude. Someone came behind him and politely explained why, which is understandable COVID. I had to go back to the store because my digital chat link that I was given, wasn't working to lead me to the return/exchange screen, plus I couldn't get through to a live person, and the salesperson was also rude. I had to literally tell him to bring it down, which I never talk to customer service that way because I am in customer service. He actually got flippant saying: I am down, and this is as down as I can get. It's not the information; it's their lack of and in attempt at trying along with their delivery that is...subtle nasty and rude. I finally got through to the live phone line and Verizon customer service asked me if the store helped me with. They were very nice, and I said they absolutely did not, they were rude and I will never shop there again after literally spending thousands of dollars with this store. They need a cultural shift and customer service training. They are horrible! read more

Have been a VZ customer for many years, and they recently made me an offer I WANTED to take them up on, but the catch is that I have to go to a "corporate store." So, I had to drive all the way up to Kenwood on my lunch hour. Unfortunately, most of the staff was hanging out in the back room, and after 15 minutes I knew I wouldn't have time to get my new phone and get back to work on time. So mad, because I need a new phone, but I can't afford to hang around in an empty store and listen to the staff gab in the back. UPDATE 3/2/14: Within 20 minutes of posting this review, I was contacted by someone who purported to be a VZ rep. She almost won me back with her sincerity, and offered to help me if I would email her my information - including billing password. Instead, I sent her my phone number and asked her to call me in the morning. She said she wouldn't be working the next day, but she would have her colleague call. That was going on 3 days ago, and still no call. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. At least my contract with VZ is over now, so I can start looking at other providers (as if I have time for that). read more

As a customer of Verizon for 11 years and frequent visitor of this location I am extremely angry and disappointed. My mother and I had gone into the Verizon store to return some accessories that were on sale during Black Friday but had driven her phone bill extremely high. The sales person the first time was not clear on his communication about the overcharges. When we came back to return the Hum drives, one of the managers Christian helped up. He was terrible. I had to check him a couple of times because I didn't like the way he was speaking to my mother.His body language and tone of voice was terrible.He never even apologize for the mistake made about our phone bill. He told us to return the hum drive would cost us $140 for restock fee.He continued to talk about how many deals and much money he would save us overall on our bill. But every time he came out from the back the "changes" he would be making to improve our bill, he would tell us something different each time. It was complete bullshit for two hours. He even said that he was going out of his way to help up. Sir, we just asked for Verizon to fix all the overcharges on her bill and return the hum drives.He even said if we had broke them (Hum drives) we wouldn't have to pay for it?I was pissed. He's the manager, he can decide if we can get credit or if we would or won't have to pay for something. After a heated argument with Christian, another sales associated finally told us we could return them for free. Of course after two hours and arguing with the manager. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN. IT IS HORRIBLE. read more

Apparently a 786 credit score is too low for Verizon. I stopped by Verizon yesterday to buy a new iPad and a 2 year subscription. After reviewing options, I decided on a plan that would fit my needs. Upon review of my credit, I was informed by the rep at Verizon that I would need to pay a $400 security deposit based on my credit. I was in shock as my credit score is almost 800. I argued my case and she called Verizon's create department to inquire on the issue. The credit department just stated that my credit was poor and I would need to talk with the credit bureaus. I pulled up my credit score and showed the rep and manger my 786 credit score and asked why Verizon doesn't think that I am a good credit risk. After numerous excuses, we resubmitted my information and again I was informed that I am a credit risk for Verizon. This time, the manager called the credit department and again was told that I would need to escalate my concerns with the 3 credit bureaus. Finally, the credit department decided to escalate the issue and determined that my credit score was indeed good and that there was a mistake on Verizon's end. Unfortunately, I wasted over an hour and a half on this process. In addition, it was an insulting and demeaning process. I attempted to reach both the general manager of the store and the district manager, but to date I have not heard from either of them. I am a brand new customer to Verizon and was contemplating switching my cell service to them as well. Needless to say, this will not be happening. read more

I will never ever shop here again. All I wanted to do was buy a new cheap phone because i had lost my old one. The man that helped me blatantly lied about getting me some "premium deal" and scammed me into buying a 200 dolllar speaker claiming that i had to spend 200 additional dollars in the store in order for this great deal to work since I didn't have an upgrade. He then failed to turn my imessages off, since I switched to a droid... so I ended up not getting who knows how many texts. Finally I went back in the store with my sister who is a little more tech-savvy and a little more brave, and we found out that this "premium deal" doesn't even exist and that I most definitely did not have to buy a 200 dollar speaker. I will be going back in tomorrow to report a complaint about this worker and would post his name here if I wasn't concerned that that may be considered slander...
