UPDATED REVIEW: After continued follow-up, Verizon has now agreed to refund the "Set Up and Go" fee, and I appreciate that the issue was ultimately resolved. For transparency, the fee was originally added without explanation and for services that were not provided, as I did not purchase a new phone. When I contacted the store as requested, the responses focused more on justifying the charge rather than addressing whether it actually applied. I also had to spend additional time with customer service removing insurance that was added without my consent. I'm glad a refund was issued, but it required persistence. I recommend reviewing all charges carefully before leaving the store and asking questions upfront. read more

Went in to get a new phone, figured it might be $200 to start a new line tax etc. It was $310.00 for tax/start up. $ 39.00 for start up fee, 29.00 for set up fee, (what is a set up? Other than a rip off like this.) He asked if he should put on the screen protector, I said sure, he didn't tell me they charge $69.00 for that little piece of glass obscene. Then I look at the first bill $289.00 on top of the 310.00 already paid. The rep. In the store told me $156.90, even wrote it down on my receipts. When I called and asked about it they said " well there might be some new service charge for a startup fee for a new line etc etc. Another fee other than the starter fee in the store? At any rate, I feel very much cheated by non disclosure of "fees" and crazy accessory prices. Not where to go to get a good deal in my opinion. read more

I could not use my new phone. Somehow, the phone showed that it was in "airplane mode", and couldn't accept everything I needed to be able to use the phone. Jaime and Maria spent 3 days trying to figure out how to circumvent airplane mode. They finally gave up, sent the phone back to Verizon, and gave me a BRAND-NEW TELEPHONE!! This was EXCEPTIONAL service! They never talked down to me, or made me feel "stupid". I cannot believe what EXCELLENT service I received from this store. Do NOT recommend visiting this store. Went in trying to activate my phone and was lied to regarding a "promotion" they were doing. The floor man repeatedly insisted that the Internet Gateway was free for two months and that our account would not be charged. Of course, this was a lie and we were immediately charged the following day. We went to an actual Verizon store, not Victra, to have it cancelled and were told they pulled a fast one on us. Since this store is not an actual Verizon store, but an authorized retailer, we had to go back to this store. The same floor man kept trying to keep up the lies and got defensive and rude when we called him out on lying. Total scammers. read more

I was very pleased of the service and how clean this location was. The manager Conor was helping me with a transfer from another provider and was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I got my iphone and my Apple watch upgraded at no cost. I also got a few perks including Netflix, HBO and international phone calls to Canada&Mexico plus one county of your choice FREE (with Ultimate package). I had the most painful experience with this store as they lack customer service, professionalism, and most importantly, basic phone set up knowledge. We spent over an hour, upgrading to a new phone, only to be continuously offered additional services we didn't ask for. After all that time, they failed to set up our new phone, but managed to charge me $39.99 for a "set-up fee". I have filed a complaint through Verizon, as we ended up spending another hour on the phone with them to set up the phone ourselves. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND ANNOYING! read more

Drew is chill and always ready to help me with even the smallest problems. I have only had my note 9 forever and sometimes I am stuck with a small issue. It takes him minutes to resolve it. I have been encouraged by verizon's text messages to upgrade my phone which is annoying. Especially when the free phone is 50.00 per month! Drew did not put me in the hot seat. instead he gave me information on the upcoming galaxy 24. I told him that I am interested in the upgrade mid January when it comes out and he put me on his lead list. I look forward to hearing from him. It is time to trade in my dinosaur of a phone. I love my note 9 and am old school. If it's not broken - don't fix it! As Drew explained, the specs on the new upcoming galaxy 24 will meet the same needs, but, is a 5 gig. so maybe faster! I understand the low numbers in the reviews, I had a horrible experience on two separate occasions on 9/2325 and 9/24/25 bolts occasions were to cancel an order placed on the evening of 9/23/25. When I tried to call the location I found that there is no published number for them at all, on both visits I was treated extremely rude by the associates, unfortunately I do not have the name of the first associate that was to help on 9/23/25, I will not go in to details other than to say that he was extremely rude and told me I had to wait to cancel the order and instructed me to come back the following day, I asked if I could call rather than to come in and was told sure, I asked for a business card with the phone number to reach them and was given a card with a phone number that puts you directly through to Verizon and not the location. That is the reason that I had to visit the store again today after receiving an email message stating that the phone had arrived, upon entering the store I was greeted by an associate named James, he proceeded to ask what he could help with and I began to explain to him what was going on, I told him I had received an email from Verizon that indicated that the cancellation was being processed, as I was reading it to him he stopped me and said we don't need to hear your whole story! I found this to be extremely rude and what I told him that I had gone through multiple problems with Verizon not only on this issue but with others he consistently had an attitude of he didn't care. If there is anything that I derived from this experience, it is plainly that I will not ever use a Verizon retailer in the future, instead I will go to a actual Verizon store we're not only do they have in stock devices they are very willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you are taken care of. I actually went to a Verizon store in Costa Mesa California on 9/23 and left their facility with new devices and answers to all my questions, the business representative Damien was extremely helpful, you made sure that my problem was addressed and I left very satisfied with the service that was received. But again the Verizon retailer in Fountain Valley California was an absolute horrendous experience for me and I see for many others as well in the reviews that I have read. read more

I upgraded my iPhone 11 to an iPhone 16 Pro back in April with a trade-in promotion and paid off the difference in full. The Verizon store rep verbally and contractually agreed to the promotion and I traded in my phone a few days later. Months later, our bill showed that the $830 value of the phone was being charged to our account with monthly payments, as well as a $19 Verizon protection plan that we never signed up for that had been accumulating for three months. Not only were we being double charged for the new iPhone but our account had been involuntarily signed up for a monthly protection plan, adding almost $50 to our monthly bill. We went to the store to get this corrected and get a backdated refund, but this should have never happened in the first place and it feels very shady and unprofessional. The store rep was able to help us get the payments removed and refunded, but there was no explanation or apology and the rep had to call a different department to get it overturned and approved. The whole process took a long time and was a hassle to correct a mistake on Verizon's part, but Verizon told us it was our responsibility to find these mistakes and correct them ourselves. If we had not checked our bill, Verizon would have kept charging us. The only explanation given when we pushed was that "mistakes happen and we can't be 100% right all the time". This degrades our trust in the company and in participating in future promotions or keeping our service with Verizon. read more

Do not use this store. It is not Verizon, but is Victra, a separate company. I went in to change my Verizon plan and was told they could upgrade my plan and reduce my monthly bill due to promos. I ended up with an invoice from Verizon for $440.00! There are one-time items on it that were not disclosed to me up front, a new line for an iPad was added that was not there before with a 2-year contract that I am not able to cancel, and my normal monthly invoice has gone up by $50.00. I called Verizon directly and was able to get some of the $440.00 credited off but cannot cancel the new line. Nothing is fully explained by the sales rep at Victra, but they pressure you to sign off on it right away. In addition, the accessories (screen and lens protectors and cases) are all at hig prices. you'd be better off going to Target. I spent 2 hours in this store to ultimately lose a lot of money. There are 2 actual Verizon stores in the vicinity - one in Huntington Beach and one is Costa Mesa. Go to those instead. read more

He was friendly and helpful mention that it might be $10 for a Sim card when I said I'm sorry what he actually said I'm sorry I can waive that fee for you since you didn't realize this was a retail store and it was really helpful and friendly wait to see you for my business account for the Sim card I got the phone up and activated for my assistant just wanted to do a quick yelp here and let you know that these are good people working hard and I appreciated his transparency and his genuine Ness and trying to help me. The floor guy we talked to: short hair, tattoos, 40s man, caucasian or latino, told my family we were getting 2 iphones for 5$ a month each with our new combined plan, but its actually 22$ a month. He either lied or was incompetent. I asked him very explicitly if 5$/phone was going to be the final price and he said yes. We never got this in writing, but had numerous verbal agreements and he was pushing it the entire time. Either incompetent or super slimy used car salesman. Walked into Verizon very hesitant because I have been with sprint for as long as I have had a cell phone, but as soon I walked in I was greeted by both Pavly and Jacob. They were informative but at the same time they didn't waste hours of my day. I wasn't entirely sure really what I needed and what would be best for me and my budget with other needs but they were quick to assist and place me in the right direction. Matt T is a lifesaver!! Came in with a broke screen where you could only barely see the top 1/4 portion to do anything. After visiting 2 other Verizon locations and being told both times that there's NO WAY they can do a smart switch (identical copy from old phone to new phone) bc of the screen damage, Matt automatically just said "let me see what I can do" and went after itt! Matt was able to figure it out somehow, but At first it was only allowing him to transfer my photos and contacts to the new phone. Matt wouldn't settle for anything other than 100%, so he worked his magic again, and got all my texts and apps transferred too. Absolute miracle worker! This review is for service given on 3/5/2021. This store's customer Service used to be a joke but new management now is EXCELLENT! My wife upgraded her phone with a trade-in online/over the phone and had to call TWICE and they still couldn't get it right for some reason. The reps were super nice but didn't process it correctly. If you need an upgrade or anything, I would say, save yourself the time and come to THIS store. Jacob (store Manager) fixed the issue in 20 mins in n out the store! We got our trade in credit, no fuss, super friendly, FAST, and no sales pressure. I am DEFINITELY coming back for my upgrade when it's time. Thanks for the help! read more

Worst experience today. Was basically kicked out of the store. We walked in, wanting to see the new iPhone as we are thinking to upgrade soon. The sales associate asked if we were buying today and we said no and so he said we could only stay and couple minutes and we had to leave. I thought it was a joke. Or maybe they were closing but no, he literally repeated we couldn't stay and look at the phones. I expressed we're existing customers and wanting to upgrade soon and repeated we couldn't stay. By far, this is the best experience I've had at a Verizon store. Pavly was super helpful and clear and made it seem so easy. I cannot say enough about how well I was taken care of by Pavly after a horrible experience from another Verizon location. I switched from Sprint back to Verizon and immediately regretted it until I walked into this store and Pavly corrected all the problems caused by the other location. The "port" from Sprint to Verizon didn't go through and I was without a phone for over 24-hours. I got zero help from the other location. I went into FV and Pavly could see that it wasn't my phone, but an error on the other location's side. He got it fixed and also found that I they had added features to my service plan that I didn't need or agree to (eg: Verizon Cloud for an extra $6-$7/month when I use iCloud) and got that sorted out as well saving me about $35/month!
