We purchased the Verizon SmartHub. Not so smart hub actually. The SmartHub is supposed to give us internet through the wireless network. It does provide great internet for two to three hours one day a month, then it's like dialup service. I would say the idea is great, but the service is crap. We have iPhones, iPads and they seem to freeze up and so the devices work better without being connected to the SmartHub. read more

BEYOND OUTRAGED! I went to purchase a phone in the Verizon store and specifically said "I do not want to spend more than $200 for a phone." I was told the phone I purchased was $120. with a screen protector. I paid $122.45 got home read the papers and found out the $122.45 was a screen protector AND JUST TAXES. The real charge was $959.99!!! The other big issue is you are told to "sign here". Here is a small black box that is just for a signature. You have no idea that this signature is being put on a paper that says you are committed to a loan agreement! How deceitful? It just goes to show only sign a paper that is in front of you. All of this was such a deceitful experience. One thing I have learned is to never, never sign the small black box without reading a paper that the signature is going onto by a real ink pen! I don't want to say that with this one bad experience I would not recommend this company because other than this I have not had anything bad happen. I do feel upset that I was totally mislead especially after I specifically requested not to spend more than $200.00 for a phone and then to be charged $959.99 unknowingly! Totally unacceptable! This was a nice store, great staff, until some Manager named Eddie shows up. I have been doing business with store just fine for many years until now. My boys were able to go into the store and switch phones out (say one they bought on Ebay) by simply having them call me for the pass code/permission. Have done it this way for years with no problems what so ever. According to Eddie, they will no longer be doing that. What's funny, is they STILL do it when EDDIE isn't looking.
