But that changed, October 2023 I called in to get my phone unlocked, since the phone was paid for it should have came unlocked. I called into AT&T they gave me the instructions how to unlock it and the code. Followed the instructions they gave. It's unlocked but it screwed up some features on my phone. The data was not working and the hotspot was not working either which I depend on both. I went to the Sheldon store they were closed for a week. I did some simple diagnoses reboot the phone to reseat the SIM card, The simple things, and also reset the network settings. Nothing was working. So went to the Sioux Center store, no help what so ever. They told me to take it to a computer shop to have them fix it. They told me they don't offer tech support for any devices they sell which I have found to be sad. This computer shop does repairs and sales on any make of phones, my phone was only 4 months old and still under warranty. After being on the phone with support for hours. I wasted 2 days trying things to get it resolved nothing was working. I gave up brought the phone to Verizon and switched. They got my phone to work the way is it was supposed to.. Reason I went to AT&T it was because of convenience since it was a few blocks away and if I had questions, I can walk down the street and get some answers. AT&T in Sheldon used to be good. It was bad enough that even my parents switched as well, when they went in there they asked to have something changed in there plan, the staff would tell them to call 611 to have them fix it and blamed it that it was a corporate thing if it was that's sad. AT&T you can do better like you were once before!

She just put it on. Which I thought was extremely rude because she didn't even ask me if I wanted it. I told her I did not want to buy a phone case and she basically made me and I felt threatened. He wanted to spend time on the phone, comparing its refresh rate, sound, settings etc. The blonde haired woman at the counter seemed to take issues with the fact he wanted to play with the phone, asking him what he was doing, telling him he wasn't allowed to test certain things in the phone etc and gave us the impression she didn't want him looking at it period. We left to buy the phone somewhere else. I worked for Apple for over 5 years, both in the store and in Corporate roles with AppleCare. These sample phones are meant to be played with, run through their paces and experimented with. After all, how do you know I'f you want to buy it if you can't test it? I would NEVER recommend buying a phone or a plan from this store. They aren't a Verizon store, they're an independent retailer that carries Verizon. Buy your phone from the manufacturer and purchase your plan online directly from the provider. You'll get less attitude, better service, and as a customer, you'll have a better experience than working with people who care for nothing other than to take your money. There is no customer service here and they care nothing for your customer experience.
