Shopping for cell phones/plans/upgrades can be a tedious and frustrating job, but not here. I've been going to this store since Dec '16, when we were upgrading our phones and plan. The store was packed, but the woman that helped me twice that day never let on if she was frustrated or tired. She broke down the components of my future bill simply so that my brain didn't hurt, and it is exactly how our bills have been since then. When we went to transfer our data, photos, etc, they stayed late when my photos didn't transfer properly. I was already a fan of the customer service ethic at this location. This week we had to replace a damaged phone. The gentleman that answered my questions on Sunday was great - thorough and simple answers, friendly, and handled my quick simple questions as he helped another customer who was there with a more complicated and lengthy issue, so that I didn't have to wait an hour just to get one question answered. When we went last night to switch out the damaged phone with the insurance replacement, Daniel and Courtney were amazing. Daniel transferred our data to the new phone and handled multiple customers (one fairly difficult) simultaneously. Courtney's shift was over but she came back in to help - twice - when there were more customers than Daniel could handle. They remained calm, cheery, and helpful through it all. Even my husband commented how great they both were and how impressed he was with their help. Great job!! read more

We recently had a complex order that was processed through Victra/Verizon in Davis. Not only was the staff more than knowledgable about how to port a line over from another carrier, but they took the time to explain all the promotional specials that I was eligible for. I saved a bundle on all my devices and when the Verizon bill arrived with several errors, staff was persistent in correcting the situation. Dustin, in particular, personally connected with Verizon to get to the bottom of the problem and continued to provide customer service until the entire issue had been fully resolved. It could have been a very frustrating experience to have managed the transaction ourselves without Victra's capable staff assistance. Definitely will be going back for future devices! read more

Emily and I have been shopping cell phone plans trying to cut down on our bill. I was with T mobile she was with sprint. Both of those carriers weren't able to keep up at a cost where we felt comfortable and Emily wanted to down grade her phone to one that just did text and calls, no smart phone. T Mobil just didn't seem to know what they were talking about after giving us direction to buy any type of phone from any carrier other than sprint. So she did and then we were told it wouldn't work. So we decided to stop into Verizon. Right off the bat we both felt really comfortable with the customer service. My apologies but I cannot recall the young ladies name that helped us but she was an absolute doll as well as knowing what she was talking about. We happened to show up on the day of the iPhone 7 launch. She presented us with a plan and trade in special of my iPhone 6s, which I was not even looking for just opening a new account plus adding Emily's downgraded phone. With all that the monthly bill was cheaper than the other carriers by far. We went for it and just had to do some things at the store to get our account numbers to switch our phone numbers over to Verizon. We were both on our phones trying to get this info and we were trading our 8 month old daughter back and forth to each other. The manager Chase saw this and volunteered to hold our daughter. That's above and beyond customer service and to be honest I think Chase and Stevie both enjoyed it. There's a pic of them to prove it. In closing, I would recommend going here if you're looking to switch carriers because the customer service is outstanding but more importantly they know what they are talking about and never once did they try and upswell us. I realize that we are in the throws of COVID 19, but that has no bearing on the following review. There were 4 staff in the store when I came in and there was one other customer. I explained to the young gentleman in New fancy basketball shoes that my phone stopped working. He asked the model and said it might be due to the age and didn't know what might be wrong. So, he sold me on a new phone. The price of the phine was well displayed. He told me I could get a greaT discount on accessories if I bought 3 accessories together. While he was back getting the phjne I went to check out accessories and did not see prices on any of them. When he returned i asked him how it would cost for the accessories. He said he didn't know and would have to scan them to find out. So he scanned them to my order, which also had a credit for my old phone in the total. He did not make it at all easy to see the price breakdown on the invoice to find out how much the accessories were. After much frustration and investigation. I found out it was $60 for the case, $30 for a wall charger and $30 for a screen protector. I decided that was not worth it even with a $15 discount. As I was leaving the store the clerk said to me, holding my old phone in his hand "Had you tried a factory reset?". That would have been good information when we first interacted. Grrrr.... I love my new samsung, but hate the sneaky way they do business here. read more

Melissa is an angel. I went in with the most complicated problem and she was so willing to help us even when she told us once already that maybe the corporate office would be the best option. (Yes, we're stubborn, I know) Long story short I bought my new iPhone under someone else's number on my account to get their upgrade and needed to transfer it back. But it was a hot mess because this line was disconnected when it shouldn't be anyone and that line needed an upgrade, blah blah blah. Logistics. She was super sweet and willing to log into our online account so that we can attempt to do everything there in the store with her. Update: Turns out they didnt give us the right forms for the rebate so it was denied by corporate. Called multiple times for help and they didnt return one of my calls. Seems much more that they're trying to make a commission than trying to help folks. My husband and I went to Verizon to purchase a mifi + data plan due to our house being too rural for mainstream internet providers. Not only did Tori and Eric get us set up with exactly what we needed but went out off their way to make sure we were informed and pleased with our purchase. Bad customer service. They force you to download the Verizon app to conduct services for you, rather finding other means like their own computer/ tablet to conduct your business. They claim you need to use the app to change your pin and using the app would be faster. But it was a lie. Very lazy and rude store manager. I took my business elsewhere. I have had bad customer service at this location on many occasions. The floor people are more concerned about up selling customer on products they don't want. For example went into Rancho Cordova store on Olsen and informed staff what I wanted and the staff continued to try and upscale me on a phone I had told him I did not want. I spent over 3 hours per visit per day at this location trying to get the product I wanted, instead of getting sold a product I did not want I chose to use the insurance coverage to replace the same old phone I had because I was told by sales associate that the phone I wanted they couldn't provide. Poor customer service at its finest. On top of all the BS about not being able get product I wanted the sales associate, info Rome I had to come current on my past bill in order to continue helping me. No problem I paid it.so we could move on with trying to get new phone. I went to store on Elk Grove Florin based on a recommendation from a friend. Wow great customer service got the product I wanted no problem, yet the store in Rancho Cordova could not do the same. As a third party vendor representing a Hugh company as Verizon, you wouldn't expect the childish behavior I witnessed on my last visit to store last night. I called Verizon about my bill being delinquent,when I just paid my bill at ranch Cordova store. The Verizon representative called Rancho Cordova store where Third party store associate and Manager of that location told the Verizon representative that they had no record of my payment only a purchase of screen protector. I immediately went to store location to figure out why they told the Verizon Representative a lie. Store manager rather be helpful he challenged me as a customer and doubted my integrity and character by trying to explain my past due payment to Verizon, let me remind you I called Verizon about a delinquent bill that was paid at Rancho Cordova location. The Manager at this point was not going to back down from being challenged on a bill that was paid at his location. All of a sudden my bill showed up that I did make payment at store location in Rancho Cordova. Rather than use any type of conflict resolution he continued to berate me as a customer about being delinquent on my account and that is where my payment in question went except I remind you this same Manager told the Verizon Representative that I did not make a payment at his location. After figuring out their was a mistake on his part since he was the Manager of that location, he still called it upon himself to try and prove his point and his point is mute because he found the payment in question and outcome I did make payment at his store. He stood at the counter like your dismissed your problem is resolved. I asked store Manager to call Verizon and tell them their was a payment made at his store, by this time I'm agitated and frustrated with this third party customer service and the Manager was visible upset with me, not a good look when your own arrogance gets in the way of doing your job as a Manager. I guess my last piece on this yelp review would be if you want bad customer service than go to the Verizon store in Rancho Cordova and ask be helped by the no it all Manager who has no common sense or communication skills on top of that lying to parent company representative about my bill payment made in his store. This store actually doesn't deserve the 1 star rating I gave them they deserve a big 0. C'mon third party representatives of Verizon get your business in line and work on your customer service and people skills. Just keeping it real go to the store on Elk Grove Florin if you want to be treated with respect and they do a great job of listening to customers needs and than place you in the best possible situation a wi win situation. I have bought my last several phones at this Verizon location and I have always been pleased with the customer service I've received. I went in last Monday to order the new iPhone 11 Pro. The sales guy who helped me was super friendly and informative. I was in there less than 15 minutes and even though they were scheduled to close really soon, he never made me feel rushed. I ordered the phone with an ETA of early November and imagine my surprise when Verizon called me yesterday to let me know it was ready for pickup. I went in today and was in and out in less than 30 minutes--and the longest part was waiting for them to open the safe. The guy who helped me today installed my new glass screen protector perfectly. He explained their warranty in conjunction with the screen protector warranty. He told me all about the cool promotions they have going on...and I was this close to getting the new Apple Watch. But, alas, I decided to hold off. Anyhow, I don't know how they don't have five stars, because every time I've been in there, I've received five star service. My only complaint, is the cell phone reception inside--it's like non-existent, but that's not their fault. If you decide to get your next phone at this location, you won't be disappointed. read more

Very poor customer service ! Ordered a couple of phones on My VERIZON APP for curbside pick up at this location. I was only in the area for the night so i stopped by to ask a few questions concerning my order. When i walked in none of the associates acknowledged my presence i stood around for a few mins as the conversed amongst each other. An associate finally stopped and said,"um we're closed right now." Didn't understand why they would allow me to walk in and stand around before informing me that they were closed for the day. Then the other associate asked did i want to ask a quick question. I explained how i ordered a couple of phones the MY VERIZON APP and it said i would be able to pick up at there location. But i wasn't going to be in the area after the night so would they be able transfer the order or cancel it. I was asked for my name and told the order will be canceled. When i got home to my computer i checked the order status to see it had not been canceled. I was not pleased with how business was conducted at this Verizon location. read more

On the phone for an hour and then when I talked to the guy again, he didn't listen to my problem and explained that the charges were accurate. This Verizon store in Rancho Cordova is pretty great. The employees were friendly, straightforward people who were there to help. Special shoutout to Reid the assistant manager who stayed late to help us muddle through transitioning our four lines from Sprint to Verizon today. He was patient and kind, and tackled each hurtle (forgotten passwords, locked phones, iCloud back-ups etc.) with ease for over three hours. So my phone decided to quit working this morning. Looked at my options and getting a new phone was it. I came to this location by referral from a store closer to my house to get the phone I needed. As we all know stress levels are high. And addition to being in the middle of a pandemic, my Finaće is home with 2 broken ankles a week out of surgery. First of all I would like to commend them on the precautions they are taking to ensure everyone's safety is right on. Torry was very professional and helped me get thru the steps needed for my new phone upgrade. What I thought was exceptional was another customer called in and also had a phone emergency, i believe he ran it over with his lawnmower. Torry calmly explained his options and even called him back after he came up with another plan that possibly could help. I went to the Verizon store because my iPhone 6 Plus was frozen. I was unable to dial out, accept calls, send text messages, and the worst, I could not listen to any music!! I went in and was immediately greeted by Erick. This man was amazing, he took his time. Like I stated earlier, my phone was frozen, I had to purchase a new phone and luckily for me, it was time for an upgrade. The only problem was trying to get my iPhone 6 Plus converted to the iPhone 7, we only had so many opportunities get this done while the phone was not frozen for the conversion. Erick explained everything to me, informed me I had a small window for any returns/exchanges. Lorenzo came in and was extremely helpful during this experience as well. I went in yesterday to switch carriers and get a new phone. Tony helped me out and made the process easy. He even spent hours making sure my old phone was backed up since I forgot to do so. Everything was explained clearly and he was incredibly friendly. I'm glad I switched to Verizon and went to this location. He also went out of his way to make sure I was signed up for the warranty from the phone case manufacturer, so I would be covered if my screen broke. He was training a new employee (Jako?
