Customer service. We drove 20 mins after calling and letting them know and asking if they could take care of us. The gentleman said yes. Not to mention it was for my son's birthday.... Will never return to this location again. Or in fact with Verizon. They have lost their customer service skills. And have taken money out of our account when they shouldn't have. When I first went here with an appointment, it was with Tom and he was very nice . He hooked me up with an iPhone 16, I could not sign in though because I had forgotten my Apple password. It turns out that you can't get apps or do anything without signing into Apple. I drove to the closest Apple store to try and get help (21/2 hours away). The girl there rushed us with absolutely no help i would have just changed my password but to verify, they had my old phone number, so I couldn't do that either I left Verizon with a brand new iPhone that I couldn't use! I feel like Tom could have helped more by talking to Apple himself and getting it all straightened out. He also knew I have a brain tumor and its hard for me to type or talk on the phone. After a couple of weeks, I made another appointment with Erin. He kept me waiting a long time and went to another lady before coming to me. Erin claimed to be some sort of " techie King," but he didn't help me either and even made fun of me as he watched me type. Next time I went in, it was to exchange the iPhone for a Samsung. ERin for whatever reason, had tried to talk me out of it ( probably had something to do with his commission I thought) When I went in to make the swap, Erin passed me off to TOM, which was fine with me but I thought it was odd because my appointment was wih ERIn, Neither one was as friendly and neither one acted like they wanted to help. I got the Samsung, but he said he couldn't switch over my contacts, so I sat there and had to do each one by one. The first visit, ERIN was able to somehow get my old contacts onto the new iPhone, which I thought were gone forever, especially since I didn't have my old phone anymore. So with my new Samsung TOM said he couldn't switch over my contacts, which was a total ASS LIE !!! AS soon as i started playing around with it, it gave me the option to pair up and switch it all over!!! Thank you, dumba** TOM I know this is long, but I wanted to be sure and call these two out for treating me so badly and not helping like they could have. I must have messed up their commission, that's all I can figure. And I said I'd get my phone case off Amazon ( cheaper, so do you blame me ?) Highly recommend a trip to see Cody. You will receive wonderful customer service and patience. I have been procrastinating the much needed upgrade because I don't like change and a huge fear of trying to remember all my passwords. Cody took his time explaining all the options, breaking down cost and best way to save money. Everyone at this location has always been super helpful. They are not your average run of the mill sales representatives. The individual that I worked with trying to get me the best possible deal on a new iPhone 15. I did have some issues with billing, but they were prompt to come to a resolution. The services may be more expensive than AT&T or T-Mobile or some of the other options here in town, in my experience, Verizon has the best coverage in the area. read more

Shortly after switching from Verizon to T Mobile, it became clear that this was a poor decision. My wife and I stopped into the store to see what we could do about reverting back and upgrading phones. Admittedly, I haven't been in a Verizon store in many moons and was physically escorted out on one of my more recent visits (RIP, 2002 Willow Grove, PA location). All that to say that I recall the experience of visiting cell phone stores as pretty miserable and was keenly focused on getting the whole thing over with as soon as possible. Then, we met Ty. Ty was friendly, helpful, and super attentive. He was so good, in fact, that I stopped weighing whether phone shopping was more or less pleasurable than root canal without anesthetic. An hour after walking in the doors, we walked out as newly-minted Verizon customers with upgraded phones and a fantastic customer service experience under our belts. Cellular sales has always and still is a professional presentation. I have told corporate numerous times over the years of being a Verizon company these are people that should be representing the product. I will never go to Verizon store that they have. It was nothing but a sour experience. I found Cellular Sales in Waynesville,NC about 12 yrs ago. I highly recommend them. Always a very good experience !!! If you need anything at this store, ask for Jacob!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is extremely knowledgeable, tech savvy, personable, customer-centered and sees going "above and beyond" as a regular part of his job. He listens well to our needs and helps you select options. This guy is fantastic! He needs to be part of leadership ASAP. I experienced very poor customer service at this location and I would encourage other customers to go elsewhere for their Verizon needs if possible. On my first visit there I ordered a 64G iphone and was told that it would arrive in late October and that I would receive an email confirming that it had arrived. I was not contacted by the store at all to let me know that my phone had come in, and by the time I called to check in (still before the estimate arrival date) I was told that the phone had been given away. I ordered a second phone, and this time was diligent about checking the FedEx shipping information. On the day it arrived in the store, I called to confirm, and said that I would be in two days later to pick it up. I work long days on the day in between and would not be available during business hours. I was told that they could not guarantee the phone would still be there two days later, despite being ordered by me, having my name on it, and me calling to state the day I would be there to pick it up. I really hope that it is there when I go to pick it up tomorrow. This is really disappointing service from the only Verizon retailer in town, and in the future I will travel the distance to another location to avoid another situation like this. read more

Went it to have my mom's cell phone service cut off. Her phone doesn't work and she doesn't know her pin. I tried the website, but I could never get an actual customer service representative. Went to this store where they sell the phones. Sales guy told me he didn't have a battery for it so he couldn't do anything. Told me to go to a Corporate Office 20 miles away and try. I asked if he could call them. He told me he didn't have their number. Really? Your an Authorized Verizon Retailer - with Direct Connection to the Network and Payment System and don't have their number? He told me not to cop an attitude with him. My wife told me to go to another Verizon Store in Franklin where the service is decent and she had had the same experience there. read more

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced at any store. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I ordered a phone which they said would be in the store to pick up in two days. It took six days and would have been longer if I had not called to tell them I had received a notification from Verizon that the phone was shipped to their other store. When I called on the fifth day, they put me on hold 13 minutes before I finally hung up and called the other store myself to have them send it to the Sylva store. They told me I could put the new phone charge on my bill but when I picked it up, they required payment. Over the course of the transaction I was lied to 6 times. If you want cell service from Verizon, go to a different store because the employees in this one are dishonest. read more

The WORSE service I have ever received! I've been a Verizon customer for nearly 10 years & I have never received worse service. And this is based on multiple experiences at this location. It's very unfortunate since the next store is 30 minutes away, but I will gladly make the drive to avoid the terrible service at this establishment. Misinformed, rude, and overall unhelpful! If you enjoy feeling like you're unimportant and being taken advantage of; then this is the store for you! I never thought I would say it, but I got more accomplished over the phone and online with Verizon Wireless than I did in three separate interactions with this store. The VZ Wireless Store is utterly useless. Instead of helping a customer the service man was more interested in his text messages popping up on his device. Also, all the reps inside the store decided to talk badly about some customer that they all dealt with over the phone. Awesome! This is the worst Verizon store I have been in .Staff is very rude, they know nothing about verizon service,plans,etc, 2 employees told me that Google is the only Service To back up contacts. They evidently know nothing about Verizon cloud, back up Assistance, All they want to do is sell you a phone which they know nothing about. Spend the time to drive to corporate store in Waynesville.
