After doing so, I was informed that the firm would not be willing to file the more complex case. When I asked if they could recommend an attorney better suited to handle a more in-depth matter, if we choose to go that route but at this the attorney declined representation entirely and did not provide a clear explanation for the decision. Although the deposit was refunded, the process resulted in a significant loss of time and caused frustration, particularly given that my interest in exploring a more complex option had been disclosed from the beginning.
