When I was there they had fashion from a Finnish Designer and hand-made leather bags from KSIA, who is a berlin-based designer. The clothes are not cheap, but you know where you're money is going. The cosmetics for sale are a lot more affordable and cheaper that I would have expected with lipsticks costing €5. What I like most about the Eco Showroom is that they aim for sustainability and also organize events around sustainability.

Mister B specializes in clothing fo the gay men's leather and rubber fetish community. While not as…read morebig as its flagship store in Amsterdam, Berlin still has quite a good selection of pants, chaps, harnesses and shorts. It also carries lots of gay adult paraphernalia. The high quality leather that Mister B uses is not cheap, and everything is basically hand cut and sewn. Leather pants are upwards of 500€. They also have 'fake' leather goods that are much easier on the pocketbook. Most of the pants designs are patterned for guys 6 ft tall, so even though Mister B will hem to your length, the detail patterns may look off if you are much shorter. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I needed something from Amsterdam custom adjusted to fit right, and within 15 minutes I was all set. (I'll let you speculate as to what it was LOL.) There are a number of men's leather stores in the Schöneberg gayborhood and Mister B is probably leading the pack.

This particular store was close to our hotel in Potsdamer Platz, and we were driven here by Therese H.'s desire to find a sundress to wear to a restaurant. I ended up with a new linen shirt. Thanks, TKM, for keeping the clothing part of our journey within budget. As I always sing, in the words of an old commercial jingle, "Man bekommt maximal für wenigstens am TK Maxx."

What this shop has done is to make that symbol into icon. Meaning, this shop has so much of everything that features Amplemann, or more correctly, Ampelmännchen, that it is hard to believe. The moment you walk into this shop what you will find is a little bit of everything using this man as the main focus. It's really fun and cool. I mean, this shop really has it all: tee-shirts, cups, glasses, plates, pillows, umbrellas, you name it... Pretty much anything you can think of featuring an Amplemann they have it for sale. Plus, even, The Hoff, David Hasselhoff has visited this shop as they have his photo on the wall taken inside the shop. This is an open and airy shop and the staff is always happy to help you.
