Always on time and friendly. Have used them many times and never had any issues. Felt safe.

The service is terrible. I got hurt at work and had to use these people to get back to my car. The hospital agrees to take care of the fare. The driver knew that when she picked me up. I even told her when she arrived. When we got to the Fort she changed the story and told me that I had to pay and that she wasn't aware the hospital was paying. I sat for two hrs as the meter was running, because they were pressing charges for the fare. The MP called the hospital and my story checked out. The hospital was paying. They were trying to get paid twice. I am looking into filing charges against this company for slander. Don't recommend these people. Also, the people driving these taxis aren't screened and don't have an honor system. read more

Had called to scheduke a pick-up, but driver was almost 30 min late. When they did arrive the car was flithy and smelled of cigarette smoke. There was then a hand-off where we had to switch cabs and that vehicle was even more filthy and smelled really bad. Feared I was going to get sick or have my clothes soiled. There appeared to be poor communication between dispatch and drivers, but whatever the reasoning, this was byfar the worse cab experience I've encountered in my 49 years of life. Will def Uber next time. read more

I have never been in a cab in my 27 years of existence, and I see why. I called this place and they said it would be an hour wait. I said, that seems like a while, but like I said this is my first cab ever, so I didn't complain about that. It's now been 2 hours, I have yet to see a cab, or be informed that one was still coming. When I called to inquire about an estimation of when one was actually going to head my way I was told "they'll be there when they can." I replied with, "that doesn't tell me anything." He then goes on to say hasn't been accurate with his guesstimations since 2020 so he doesn't make them anymore. Which I replied "again, that tells me nothing. So the customer service was subpar and we'll see if and how the drive experience is if it ever occurs. So far, just the phone part of the whole encounter has been awful. read more

The night before called and asked for a taxi for 7am. They said call back 2 hours before pickup. Called 2 before pickup. The guy that answered said I'm leaving work in 1 1/2 hours call back for the next person. Called back at 630. They didn't have anyone available to drive. This place shouldn't be called veteran cab it should be called PASS THE BUCK CAN SERVICE. Never Again!!!!! read more

if I could give no star I would I mean this place is a total dumb everyone there smoke and sells drugs . they need to be shut down immediately they are extremely rude and they never have a taxi available even in good weather (bad weather I could understand) but even if it's snowing outside instead of telling you There's no drivers they keep telling you wait times that aren't even wrote down , then when you have already waited 2 hrs you call back and they still say there's a 1hr wait and that there's no drivers . I used to work here it was never this bad I have an elderly friend who relies on this company unfortunately they really suck and I don't know why. They were never this bad. Anyway poor man is disabled they had him acting fir w hours in the cold. They lie about being there when they never show up. I was never this rude or bad when I drove. Demanded $53 for a ride from Platte City to KCI... a distance of less than 5 miles. For that price I'd rather walk!!! It is no wonder cab companies are floundering when Uber and Lyft charge less than $20. The dispatcher had a terrible, condescending attitude and hung up on me very abruptly 2 separate times while being as unhelpful as possible. Luckily my cab did arrive on time and the driver was awesome, made good conversation and good time! With the attitude of the dispatcher it's clear that the drivers are keeping this company afloat, I would definitely replace that dispatcher in a hurry if it were my business. read more

The only 24/7 cab company in Leavenworth county. Short staffed because most people quit due to how little the employees make, and, the customers being unpleasant more often than not. While waiting at the office to get a ride across town, the dispatcher put a customer on speaker while patiently explaining that it would take a while to get a cab to them, for the 5th or 6th time, and the customer threatened the dispatcher, to which the dispatcher said "bye" and disconnected the call. I was shocked, the dispatcher said that wasn't anything new. 5-10 minutes later I was on my way home. read more

there it's this guy that answer the phone and I ask for a taxi and every time he answer say to me he don't know what time it's coming to pick me up the weird thing it's that only happens when he works..... so I just find out that I think he wait till he get off from his shift so he can come in the same taxi just to come talking with me in the car.... Don't reccomend. Booked a cab to get to the airport. Dispatcher told me 30 minutes or so. Called them back after waiting for 45 minutes and dispatcher said they were still working on getting me a cab and they were busy dropping off other fares. I then simply asked for him to be transparent and give me an actual correct estimate of time that they would be here and dispatcher hung up on me and then canceled my cab without telling me. I ordered a taxi at 6:20 p.m. from Price Chopper to home. Waited outside until 6:50. Took off walking home. By the time I made it home at 7:15 I received a call from them telling me they were outside of price chopper. This was not the first time they took forever to pick me up... Unfortunately they are the only ones available in Leavenworth. Competition needed. read more

If you're ready to wait anywhere from an hour to an hour and half, I guess Veterans Cab is alright. Every time I order a cab it is at minimum 30 minutes to pickup and most days well over an hour. Don't even think about using this service unless you have lots of time on your hands. read more

The first time I was forced to use their services the driver refused to take me because I have a service dog. Not only is that against the law, but they also didn't send another car until called. The next time (knowing they're usually not on time) I called and made a reservation for between 7-7:15am. I even called back the night before to confirm the next morning's appointment. At 7am I was at the pick-up location they were not! I had to wait until the business I was at opened at 7:30am and have the business owner call them before they finally arrived making me late for work. When I called the service to find out why this had happened they LIED and said they were there at 7am and I was not! The Dispatcher argued with me for several minutes, stating that they had another customer who was going to be late for work if the driver had been there at my designated time. I asked why it was okay for me to be late when I had made a reservation and why they didn't come back or send another car. No apology, no legitimate explanation why they were not there, plus the car was filthy and smelled of cigarette smoke. When I told them I would not pay them for rude, late and horrible service, they threatened not to ever pick me up again! Frankly I will never use them again I'd sooner walk. Customer service sucks- don't ever use this company if you can avoid it! read more
