We had a celebration of life for my brother at the VFW Post 755 in Springfield Illinois. Everything that they prepared for our family and friends was amazing and their fried chicken is the best in central Illinois. I recommend this VFW for any event that you are planning. read more

Chicken dinner is the best bang for the buck. Hall rental is vast. Supports our veterans. The camaraderie is the other half. Keep it local. read more

Very welcoming to Veterans and civilians. Delicious food! Lots of patriotism in this place. They host charity events, fundraisers, benefits, and will help any Veteran in need. Check out the All-You-Can-Eat Fried Chicken Buffet every Tuesday from 5-7:30! Only $10!!!! Also full menu available (fish, horseshoes, tenderloins, grilled chicken etc) available every Friday from 5-7:30 This VFW turned 100 years old in June of 2021! read more
