Let's start with this VFW has the feeling of a home away from home. We visited Oxnard while on our road trip north. If you're active or a veteran, stop in here! Say hello to Floreene, the bartender, excellent pour! When we take our road trips, we search out a local VFW and stop in for just the (1)? Often striking up a conversation about the best place for supper. We have done this many times and in many cities. Who knows better than local guys and gals at the neighborhood VFW Post. as to good local food. The Post has a dinner once a week. The FRIDAY nigh 6pm supper is outstanding! A home cooked comfort food, cold beer, and a nice cocktail type. Come play a game of pool or sing karaoke, but best of all, come meet a fellow service member.
