This company has gone downhill. Multiple leadership changes, with it getting worse each time newer management takes over. From lack of leadership and communications to embezzlement, it's lost sight and integrity. Apparently with record high profits; uniforms, equipment, and gear quality degrades, or you have to purchase everything on your own. Most "elite" companies I've seen can manage their employees guard cards, provide company owned firearms, have good/decent equipment and uniforms for issue, and their offices/fleet are well kept. But that's not the case here. You're not valued and not family here. Don't let their "marketing" fool you. If you just want a paycheck, this is the place. VSO is too focused on marketing and getting a "name" out there between catered events and affiliations. "volunteering" seems to be the only thing they truly want employees for. If you're a veteran, I'd probably keep it to yourself unless you want your title to be exploited. Nothing is done for veterans or veteran related services. Embarrassment. VSO is not what they claim to be. Do they know the definition of elite? Unorganized and unfit mall cops. Do they even have uniforms? But they offer decent pay. This company lacks leadership. The owner has left this company to a bunch of kids with zero knowledge, background, and experience on how to run a company. And those smart enough to help, have all ran for the hills or have been terminated. I'm actually surprised it's stayed above water this long. From the "CEO" and "CMO," which in reality these titles mean absolutely nothing, to the supervisors and other "management" if you can even call it that, they show no real care or respect for anyone but themselves. To Darren's comment, let's add yet another management change. To someone's friend being promoted (favoritism) within a few months of working here and another dude who they think has experience, and wasn't that good as a street guard. just another basic security guard company where the guards are worked into the ground, and management is living comfortable with their salaries doing really nothing but podcasts and events. #sinkingship read more

this company is top notch!!! i have 3 full service 24 hour restaurants and was having quite a bit a late night trouble at one of my locations. after hiring these great guys i no longer have any issues!! there are a lot of companies out there however the majority are NOT qualified and have no training in deescalation. i'm so happy to be able to put these vets to work and the level of professionalism is second to none!!! thank you VSO for bringing peace to my establishments again!! i will ONLY call on them for future work! read more

Best security company around for not only high end skilled security services but to help Veterans get a real paying job after serving their country. VSO was founded and operated by Veteran. They are very connected in the community too, they do volunteer work at the food bank, for battered women's, and volunteer at many other non profit groups. There employee Toby working at the fair to enforce the mask mandate refused to wear a mask himself. Claiming his chew spit bottle was considered a drink and did not have to wear a mask while drinking. The company should have fired him on the spot. Claimed he couldn't they are short staffed and its hard finding good employees. Well this guy is a bad employee that makes your company look even worse. read more

Their employee a guard was supposed to be watching and guarding a cannibis shop, at closing there was 4 cars in the parking lot it was midnight and he sat there and watched as 2 vehicles pulled in and pulled up to my sons car and stole it.. I wonder how much Antonio was paid to let them steel the car. The guard is seen on video just sitting watching them steel the car. read more
