I was very nervous at first leaving my dog with new people because I was not sure how she would react, I expressed all my concerns to Josh before bringing her in and he gave me a tour of the facility and explained how he would go about handling and taking time getting to know my dog. The first time I dropped her off she tried to follow me right out the door and she was very uneasy, but now when I drop her off she doesn't even look back. It makes me feel good to drop her off there knowing she loves going and that she likes Josh so much. She doesn't like many people, especially men, so he must be doing something right.

He is stern but honest and seems very knowledgeable, up-to-date, and fair in his treatment of animals. We were able to get our cat treated as we wished, but also learned a lot from Dr. Teachout and will return there for more care. The vet tech/assistant was also incredibly helpful and informative, and the front desk worker could not have been more kind or polite. My only complaint would be logistic -- they could use more seating in their lobby, but that's a small complaint to the utter insanity we dealt with at the two previous vets here in Yankton.

We wanted a daycare that would keep our…read moredog (wonk) engaged throughout the day so when we picked him up he his energy levels would be low so we could relax after a long day. After trying out a different daycare we took him to Doggy Den. The staff were great and wonk seemed to enjoy his time there. Coming home exhausted after a long day of playing with other pups. The staff would fill us in on his day and provide pictures of wonk with his new friends.

She answered all of my questions. I have so much comfort leaving my pup for a few days knowing he will be well taken care of. The communication was great as well as the follow up to my questions. Of course I had to give them a try! First I brought in my long-haired chihuahua and told them to shave him down. He looked great! He did have a bad rash on his butt from caked-on mud and poo. He healed quickly tho. Then I brought in my standard yorkie and asked for him to be shaved down. (It's hot in the summer!) They did and I forgot how skinny he looked underneath all that hair! It's $50 because I asked for a bath, nails, and a cut. Totally worth it. They even put an adorable bandanna on your pup when they're done. I love that I can drop off my dog(s) super early in the morning. (Like, 6:45am) It helps with my schedule. It's a cute little place tucked back on a dirt road and tons of trees. I think I'll just stay with these guys! They do an awesome job.
