I cannot recommend you go somewhere else hard enough. We had Vezina do our windows and roof in May/July 2023. The whole experience was absolutely terrible. The sales guy - hit us up for money weeks after our roof install. Asked for $100-200 bucks to get him to the next paycheck. Even though in his sales pitch told us all about how Vezina was different and he wasn't commission based and they paid their team so well. They forgot to calculate the correct square footage of materials needed for the roof. After contracts signed and financed they "forgot" to add in the size of the garage. They mentioned during prep that demo could get a little messy, but they would clean up at the end of each day. We asked if we need to clear out the garage, cover anything, take stuff out of the rafter "Oh no it's nothing that crazy. Just some dust." They did clean up the nails in the yard at least. But it was definitely a chaotic mess in the garage from all the wood left behind of the old roof. They fell through the ceiling during install. Luckily the worker was totally okay but my bedroom was not. Complete lack of urgency in patching up the hole same day so we didn't have an unfinished skylight in our bedroom. The latch job was rushed and shows, there was talk to come repaint my ceiling and 3 years later still waiting. I've given up calling about it. They did offer to put in new insulation to replace what fell out and replace anything destroyed but took months of follow ups and calling to get this in place. The windows. Told it would be a 2 day process. Happened in 4-6 hours. Felt rushed and I'm seeing now that it completely was. Asked the workers to please keep a certain door closed so I cat wouldn't get out and to let me know when they get to that part of the house so I can put her in a secure area. You know where this is going, she got out and they just shrugged that they needed to get that area done. Luckily she only went a yard over and is okay. The roof caving in on her during the roof install was much more traumatic for her. Took her a long time to go back into that room. During measurements of the windows the project manager (who is the best part of that company tbh, she was lovely, nice, explained things well and in detail) let us know we could change orientation of some windows to update them to our needs at no cost. This was great and we did a double open window in a bathroom so it could open from the top or bottom at the same time and have a screen all the way for air flow. Something got lost from that day to install and the full screen function didn't get installed. Over a year later it got resolved despite many calls to the office on the issue with zero call back. When they did come out to resolve it it was only because the finance company got involved after asking me if I would recommend Vezina and I said absolutely not. The guy that came out blamed us for not catching it on our contract we signed - which they couldn't send me a copy of oddly. And said it was on us not them and they shouldn't even fix this issue for our mistake. He was also very condescending to the project manager who came with him and would not let her talk. She said it was her error in not selecting an option and how it got left off the final configuration and he did not want us to hear or remember that admission. It was a screen on a window, not a whole new window. Last year we had an energy audit done on the house and the amount of areas of concern around our windows is comical for windows done within 3 years. The tech showed me the spots where you could see that the insulation foam used to seal the windows and walls had massive gaps. I have zero faith in anything getting fixed there because the windows would have to be replaced to do so. Then today which prompted me to finally make this review was seeing the state of the garage window. It is warping. This is on the inside in the interior of the garage. Don't think this should happen ever really, but especially within 3 years (less technically. Windows were done July 2023). Please save yourself the headache. Pick another company. I reached out to this company hoping to get a quote for 10 standard-size windows because I wanted to compare options, support a small business, and find quality work. Instead of providing me with an estimate, I was told I'd be "better off" going to Lowe's or Home Depot for the lowest prices. If I wanted the cheapest option, I would have gone there myself. They claim to have been in business for 25 years, offer great service, and stand behind their work but this interaction was the opposite of great service. I've had to fix their work on multiple occasions because they don't stand behind their work, once it's done they ignore you and hide from you unless you get the financing company involved, and on the one occasion that I was able to get someone to come out after multiple months of being ignored to fix a problem that they caused, the guy who came out was disrespectful and tried to argue with me over his mistake instead of just fixing his error. Now their work is still falling apart but because of his aggressive behavior and the quality of his work I will just fix it myself because they aren't worth the trouble. On top of that, the sale guy asked my wife for money to help him pay rent and hounded her to get my number too. This window business is "BAD" NEWS! I needed windows, and a Vezina Industries was the company that my wife and I chose to use. After being paid 20K to have all our windows replaced, it went down hill from there. Long story short; Today is 12/10/24 and our bathroom shower window (42"x 42") in my master bedroom was left unfinished and unusable. The framing was left open and exposed with caulk sprayed everywhere. I attempted on multiple occassions to make contact with the person who was responsible for the repairs, to no avail. I had windows A/C & heating and solar installed by Venzina industries last year, I cannot say that it went well, signed the contract late October 2021 and was told it would be completed by the middle of January 2022.the A/C & heat pump came first. installation seemed to go well, but they never hooked up the roof drains for the A/C unit, then the heater started shutting itself off before the setpoint. When I called they sent someone out and took care of it and thru the summer the A/C worked fine. now it is cold again and the heater has failed for the second time in six weeks, Called my rep with no responses as of yet. Next was the windows, I am not an expert at installing windows and i actually did not notice that when they installed them they did not remove the trim around the window frame and installed the windows to the trim, so if i ever have to replace the trim or replace the siding on my home I will have to remove the windows. Then the solar finally came and that took until May to get completed and the monitoring App I was directed to put to my phone still won't work. also when we negotiating the contract I requested a larger electrical panel for future use and was told that they would split part of the added cost. When the electrician arrived to install it, they said the full cost was my responsibility adding a bit more than 3K to the total Now it is a year later and the heat pump that I was supposed to get a rebate on for removing my pellet stove has never been completed despite calling and talking to my rep about it on3 separate occasions, I have not confirmed it but i am fairly sure the rebate has expired by now. I guess it is live and learn on this one because i had to pay them before completion in order to get the federal rebate on the solar last year, because shortly after payment they stopped trying to complete this job. read more

We recently made the decision to purchase a new roof and new windows. Obviously, it was a big decision. We chose to work with Vezina Industries and we have no regrets with our decision. During the roof installation, the roofers completed the tear off and install with ease. We were particularly impressed with how clean they were and they ensured that there were no nails etc in the driveway. The end product looks wonderful. After the recent rains, we were able to verify that there are no leaks. When it was time for the window installation, the windows were installed in one day. I bought two patio doors and 4 windows from this company. They then installed a new fireplace. The last time I needed them was to fix a handle on the aforementioned door. The technician showed up late and couldn't wait 30 seconds for me to buzz him in from the security gate. He left with no word. I called and complained. They sent him back out and that's when every customers worst nightmare happened. They told me they were mask compliant. When the tech got here I let him in the backyard. My 3 kids were doing their school work. I noticed the tech wasn't wearing a mask and asked him to put one on. That's when he came at me in an attempt to assault me. I immediately went inside as he left not having fixed anything. I called his manager "Rick" and he was not friendly towards me at all. He made excuses for his tech and offered no apology. I haven't felt safe or slept well since. I had to file a police report and go to therapy. Now when anyone comes to the house I'm anxious and packing. It's a pure nightmare and I won't ever trust another maintenance person again. Needless to say you can do a lot better than this company. It's taken me a while to write this review because a fellow veteran at Vezina came and took care of my door finally. Only because of him did I leave it alone but you folks aren't safe. Look elsewhere if you want windows!!! This place is not worth you're money!! If there was a zero, I would rate it that!!! Overpriced and underserved!! Bad customer service. We have a 35 year old house with single panel windows and big windows. I chose Vezina Industries because they have a Forever Warranty on the life of the windows. That means that even if I no longer live in the home or own it, the next owners can carry on the warranty. (The only good thing) A total of 16/17 windows and two sliding doors were replaced in my home. We signed the sale contract in October, the men didn't come out until December to install. They said I wouldn't have to start paying my loan until 3 months after installment. So because they were two months late in installment I had penalties and late charges for late payments on my loan for the windows. When they came to install, my kitchen window, which is a garden window, they couldn't replace it. So they ended up giving me money back for that window and leaving their window never returning to pick it up. My sliding doors open and close smoothly but the screen doors were missing the tracks so they didn't slide open and close smoothly nor do they lock correctly. They have the worse customer service! Appointments are made but not kept, wasting my time waiting on them. Multiple calls to come fix the garden window took a good month before they said they can't fix it and they will refund my money for that window and then they ended up just leaving that window because their "car couldn't fit it." Two year later, my kids ripped the netting on the screen door, they said they'll pick it up between 8-12 and have it back the same afternoon 1-4. The guy came out about 10AM measured saw the problem. Said he will just go get another door that's already screened and come back and replace the damaged one and also install the tracks. It's almost 3PM no one has come back with a replacement or tracks. I called, they tried to change the story and said they told me it would be a two day process, their guy will come back next day to finish. I am not happy. She called me after being almost 15 min late saying she couldn't find it. I gave her specific instructions on where to locate us. I then get a text that no one answered the door and she was leaving. I was right there and no one rang the bell. I texted her back and she said she already left. I told her she went to the wrong place and she confirmed where she went and yes it was wrong. I called the office to complain and they called me back saying she went to wash her car and could come now to measure. WTH? She was late, couldn't find it after basically drawing her a mao, and then find out she left to wash her car instead of trying to complete her appt. Vezina Industries provided an estimate for my new composite roof and the price quoted was double the amount that was provided by the roofing contractor I chose for the project. This is the Central Valley --not the ridiculously over-priced Bay Area. Houses 1500-1600 sq. ft. in my neighborhood are selling for $250K, not one to two million! What really threw up a red flag was I couldn't get a written quote but was told I could take a picture with my phone of the estimate that was pulled up on the estimators laptop. In March 2016 we had Brad Sears come out to give us a estimate on new windows and attic insulation. We agreed on the price and had them do the work. At the same time Brad also told us that they were working with P.G.E on a rebate program that could rebate us 3000.00-35500.00 directly to us in a check. The cost for test was 1000.00 which we agreed upon Mike the owner of the company came and did the test and gave us the same story as well. Most salespersons are very knowledgable and pretty good. But in combination of price , professionalism, value of services plus the "buy local" factor, I chose Vezina industries. They were fast , from the time we signed contract to the completion only take two week ( almost two weeks waiting and one day installation ). My wife and I are very happy with the work, the house is insulate much better and the Windows also reduce the noises too, a unanticipated benefit. Like the other reviewers, I love these guys. Our house has a lot of windows and three sliders so it was a big job. Mike and Brad were awesome. One of the things about windows is that you can spend all the money in the world and if they aren't installed correctly its a waste. These guys did a great job and are Milguard specialists. I think there were 25 windows and 3 sliders. They showed up with 10 guys at 8am and were completely done by 3. All their employees were great. One other you should be aware of is that Mike and Brad have an intricate knowledge of a program through the state that can make your improvements tax deductible. That can can mean a 20-40% discount depending on your tax bracket. In addition, there are rebates that can come back to you depending on the project. For me this amounted to about 20% of the project cost (But this varies). I'm guessing it increased the value of my home by the equivalent of another 20% of the project price. And our heating bills have gone down and more importantly, we actually stay warm. If you do the math factoring in everything, it was almost a wash. Make sure you ask about the TAX AND REBATE options. read more

These people gave us a deal on a wood stove insert. They came out promptly and installed. Stove looked great. Then we lit a fire. Smoke filled the house. Having lived in rural areas almost my entire life, I know how to light a wood stove. We got onto the roof to investigate. To our surprise there was no pipe coming from the chimney. We called and asked about it. We were told by Michael the owner that they don't do pipes because it is not necessary. Not necessary? Really? Turns out that great deal was a stove with two feet of flex pipe aimed toward the flume of the chimney. Check out the pictures yourself. This place is a scam, they also attempted to sell us windows, after investigating we found that they could cut the price so much because the windows are contractor special that are only supposed to be installed in new construction wood homes (our house is brick). He also has allowed his workers comp to expire (check the contractor license website- but don't do what I did and check it after they are shady- check it now). Working with Vezina Industries was very professional, great communication and smooth process. From working with Louie, he was a great salesman. He explained everything to me from the product to the finance process. Louie was great. Than Troy came out measure all the windows and explained what to expect in time frame. The female representative that would call to schedule appointments was nice and polite. She answered my questions promptly with no hesitation. Installation day, Sergio, Gary and Jose where here on time, very nice guys, they were ready to work. Help remove some blinds I couldn't take off and shades. They went straight to worked and before you know it, they were done. They put back my blind brackets, clean up all the mess and dust. I purchase windows for my home in 2018. As time went by we noticed a draft inside. Very hot in summer and very cold in summer. My heating and air conditioning bills where sky high. I called to have the shop department @ Vezina to come and see that my windows had condensation inside in the winter. Got nowhere to make a long story short...finally March 2022 all the windows needed to be replaced. after all the repairs I noted a huge difference in the temperature inside my home. I haven't used the portable heaters since the repairs. There was no installations on any of the windows and the window seals in between the windows was defective... For 3 years I had sky high energy bills. Still waiting on the owner to respond to some kind of reimbursement. I may have rated them better if the owner would have contact me with some kind of compensation for the last three years of high energy bills and no response from the shop department on my constant complaints. read more

Well I ended up being told to contact this company( they also gave me new scratched windows in the new house but claim they knew nothing) regarding a gas stove that I was going to have installed in a new residential construction turned out their guy ordered me a ironstrike Serafina navy blue gas stove and the cost was $3,500. Their employee was very considerate and patient and very kind and after I was told by Mike Vezina that that employee would no longer be employed by them said that his weight stopped him and prevented him from doing his job and therefore he did not work for this company anymore after that I lost all respect for him. Mike Vezina sent his guys out on 3 different occasions to try to get this stove hooked up correctly. Each time it was done wrong, I gave him a chance to write their wrong a few times, considering one time the house was so full of gas that a man that was coming to give me an estimate for wood floors pushed me out of the door and asked me where it was to shut the gas off to the house that it could explode at any moment I contacted Mike Vezina who nonchalantly wasn't in a panic just told me they would have somebody come out. They did and hooked it up incorrectly as well as taking a hearth that I had that was brand new, his guys attempted to put it together in my living room, of a newly carpeted newly built house with nothing on top of the carpet, then it was decided they took it back to Madera to the shop brought it back and they had tried to rig it and it was original flagstone that cost $800. After a lot of back and forth with Mike Vezina and all of his empty promises he ended up giving me my money back that I had paid down on the stove and gave me a receipt as if no transaction ever took place. And on top of it when they brought the stove in it was damaged and now because he gave me a receipt showing no transaction took place I have nothing to fall back on in case of a warranty or to get it repaired.The lies the games the unprofessionalism that this company has showed me is disgusting to those of us that just want simple things when it comes to building a new home and we shouldn't have to have any problems whatsoever. Come to find out the employees were not certified to be installing these gas units, and everything turned out to be a mess. I had to pay another guy that specialized in the stoves to hook it up correctly and all he did was shook his head left and right and said the guy should be embarrassed and I took pictures of everything each time. This guy is unethical under the business and profession codes save your money do your homework check out the contractors board and do any kind of research With Better Business Bureau,Dept.of Consumer Affairs, and talk to other people that have put up their reviews. Companies like this don't need to be in business because they're only making money ripping off innocent people, and all of this above is an example of bad faith. I don't know how some people can sleep at night knowing they can do this to others. I've documented everything and if anybody needs to see the proof I have it, it's tasteless, wrong on a lot of different levels and somebody needs to do something about this. There are consequences for bad behavior and this is an incident where something needs to be done and the public should be notified, this is my personal experience from building my first home and I had nothing positive to say and I regret that the construction company that I used use this company as subcontractors,I guess we all learn from our mistakes. I am very happy with my new windows and french door. I had these horrible 1970s windows that I had to cover with heavy ugly drapes to keep the house somewhat warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The windows also were so fogged we could no longer see through them. My old slider that the french door replaced, was in backwards and was so hard to open you had to have some muscle just to make it open. I hated that door. I also had insulation put in my attic and I can not wait to see the difference in that too! Come to find out who ever did the original insulation left many areas uninsulated and the original insulation was not up to code. Needless to say, this house needed help and I am grateful to Vezina and the HERO Program for making this possible since after suffering a financial hardship after a horrible and long divorce that left me in the negative financially, this is a blessing. It worked for us! Just got a $9378. rebate check from PG&E. There were a few times when communication was lacking, but I just called them a lot. Worked with Brad and asked a lot of questions. Got an energy audit from Holly that basically outlined how we could get the $9K + rebate. Holly was very helpful about my options and the accuracy of the rebate program. We got new Milgard windows, new pool pump, insulation and duck sealing. Sylvia came in to do the final energy audit for the rebate and she was very helpful with the results and rebate timeline. I got a call from PG&E later the same day of the final energy audit with a confirmation that they (PGE) has received my rebate documents and they are processing my rebate. Again, do your research and don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions.The Vezina crews that came to my home all did a good job. Thinking about doing my second home with Brad at Vezina. read more
