I am a Vietnam Veteran and have driven by this VFW many times thru the years in my ice cream van and noticed the entry way signs outside? For the first time I entered yesterday to donate a HC set of collectable Books, [The Pictorial History of the Second World War] I have had this set in my private library for many years but decided the VFW might appreciate them more as this set was printed originally by the VFW beginning 1944 to 1951! And I need say these are near and dear to me because a veteran owned them before and were given to me by he. This was years ago but now he has passed! Upon entering I was surprised that there is more inside than one would suspect? Meeting rooms, a library and a Bar even I could find no-one around other than some men inside the Bar as Bars are not what I care to frequent I didn't have the time to spare to look around much so I simply I left the Books and departed.
