Mimosas and great Bloody Mary's. Buffet is $10 per person that alternates weeks every week. One week is Biscuits and Gravy and the next is Pancakes with the accompaniments. Ample free parking and accessible access. Large dining room for families and those that want to seat away from the bar. It's my first time to go for the breakfast and I will return. Members and guests are welcome. ATM on site. I highly recommend this buffet for a relaxing Sunday breakfast. Every Sunday with rotating Main items, 9am until noon. The VFW like most veteran service groups are a member organization restricted to active and former members of the military that served in overseas areas during a war or conflicts with membership requirements. However for the Sunday breakfasts, the first Monday of month is Steak Night and weekly Tuesdays is Smash Burger Night and non-members and their families are welcome. They have a State issue's alcoholic beverage license. The only restriction is that under State Law non-members cannot purchase alcohol products. I have heard stories about how it was quite the place back in the day, but now it just strikes me as odd. They have less oil and gas folks than they once did which speaks to how anchorage has changed, but I never would have expected a baby to appear in the bar of the PCA but it happened. The food is nothing special and the service isn't the quickest but if you want to have an a good place to people watch, this is it!

So there's a super quick lunch option for anyone working in midtown, without getting stuck with the same old boxed salads you're used to. If you're in for a bit more of the long haul, the wings, steak bites, pork bellies, and phillys are all outstanding. There seems to be a contingent trying to make the two-martini lunch cool again, and while I will not join them (until 5), I applaud and support their efforts. I found a Noah's Ark framed photo of Arc Encounter in Williamsburg, KY. Where I have been. It was $1.00. Also found a rhinestone barrette for a $1. The prices were cheap on household but kinda spendy on clothes and shoes. The proceeds support charity.
