VHS Transportation, according to their website, provides transportation to those with special needs, so one would imagine that their drivers are safe and courteous, right? Wrong. This past week, on Tuesday morning, July 9th at 7:35 AM, the driver of van number 757 was driving like an A** through Hingham. Seriously, there is traffic in the morning on Route 228, and people are making the left from Cushing St onto 228 N just as quick as they can. We don't need you honking at us while you are (allegedly) being a safe and cautious driver (who may be getting paid by the Commonwealth for your driving??). Vincent Savill, President of VHS, why don't you do a little driving around in an unmarked car behind these clowns to see how people drive in vans emblazoned with your company's name, and why not respond to me while you are at it? read more

VHS is very reliable, respectful, and timely. They often go out of their way to accommodate my children.

This company is a total joke. They claim they provide safe, consistent and timely transportation services to a wide range of individuals with special needs. We contract with many Regional Transit Authorities, Human Service Agencies, and Municipalities to provide an important link between the individuals we transport and their respective Schools, Day Programs, Supported Employment Sites and other social service programs. Well they are horrible at this never ever contract with this company they are always late, lie to you when you call to inquire about your child and never ever act like professionals. I am contacting Dept. Of Developmental services and let them know how this company handles it's clients and encourage them to yank their contract. Maybe once they start losing business they will get their act together. You would think because they are transporting individuals with disabilities they would take more care and be more communicative with families...NOT!!! read more
