You can go to any master and know you gonna get what you came for. And it never ever disappoints. I am a sucker for natural looks, my mani lasts 3 weeks (could be more but I just like to get a new color), pedi last time 6 weeks, and it looked bomb after 6 weeks. Brows and lashes - I don't even use makeup any more. I am just saying if you like to take good care of yourself- those are the hands you want to be in. Since the manager called me and offered to give me a discount towards my next service for the confusion about the nail take off. Two of my nails the glitter was lifting and they fixed it. When I went in my original tech wasn't there so another lady did and I was trying to explain that I just wanted one smaller piece of glitter added to one nails where a patch was misssing. They just wanted to file and add a top coat, after asking for 15 minutes they finally brought the glitter out and did it. They added a top coat to all my nails which was nice. If I could I would give 4.5 starts. read more

Best Russian manicure spot in the west side! I was looking for a new place since moving from NYC. Everyone is friendly and appointments are always started on time. Every manicure and pedicure lasts multiple weeks - literally no chipping. It's amazing! The lady burn my eyes with the lash extensions and also didnt do a well job. I was telling her my eyes where burning and she would stop. I basically had to get out of the chair and leave. Go elsewhere they don't speak well English which I believe it's vital especially when your using chemicals that one can have an allergic reaction read more

Very very thorough job cleaning up my messy-looking feet! The salon is very nice inside, very clean, everyone was super friendly. I don't give 5 stars because there was no soak and no foot massage, (and polish is $20 extra.) So although what they did for me was incredibly thorough, I'm a little confused by the approach. This was a very bizarre experience. After saying multiple times that I just wanted a regular manicure, the man who did my nails continued to file my nails down (in a painful way). Then he also was quite rough pushing my cuticles back and cut them with small scissors (which again, was peculiar). I ended up not getting any color because I wanted to leave so desperately. My nails are raw and dry. I feel bad because he was very friendly but I just would not go here for a manicure with this particular person. read more

I had a very special event today and booked makeup with Kirill. This was my first time at Via Venice and it won't be my last! I sent a photo of the look I was going for and Kirill nailed it! He was so gentle and precise, I was really impressed. Normally, I tear up when makeup is applied around my eyes, but I didn't tear up once nor felt discomfort at any point during the makeup application with Kirill. :/ really wanted to like this place. the first time I went there the woman did an amazing jobs laminating my eyebrows I paid for the lamination and lash lamination combo but the person to do lashes wasn't there so they said I'd have to come back (which it shouldnt have even let me book in the first place then) and that the combo price would still apply I go back they charge me full price and the guy tinted my lashes even though I repeatedly said I just wanted lamination so that suckee but whatever no big deal, went back the other day and a different girl laminated my eyebrows and it took half as long as the other girl and it's some bull they aren't laminated what do ever such a waste of money wanfed to support a local small business but not worth it read more

I wanted to try out a new place near my home. I didn't like that it took the tech about two hours…read moreto do my lashes which were basic nothing stood out. In all honesty I couldn't tell I got lash extensions. Not to my surprise 5 days after all the lashes had fallout. I don't use makeup around my eyes and I don't rub my eyes so yeah that says it all. 170 for lashes that didn't make a difference and only lasted 5 days!!! RIDICULOUS please don't bother coming here waste of money TO YOUR REPLY: In the past I have gotten classic lashes applied to my lashes and the longest it's taken my tech was 1hour and 30 minutes. My lashes looked amazing which made a huge difference in my eyes. And they lasted 2-3 weeks. Did you not read where I wrote I wanted to try a place closer to home. Anyhow, Your tech did not tell me anything about the 3 day follow up. And excuse me for having a busy life hence took me a few days to review this business. Regardless your products are poor and cheap. My review is honest and I don't think anyone should throw their money away. 170 is a lot for a service that didn't even last a week. Do better get quality glue or lashes idk but def not ever coming here again nor do I recommend this business To your second response: I never noted that I rub or pull my lashes I do not know what you are talking about. My old tech that is 30 miles from me would apply each lash one by one and they lasted for 3 weeks and made a HuGE difference on how my eyes looked. So your organization is not at bat with my consumers expect. Why can't you take this review as an opportunity to improve your business instead of making up lies. GROW UP! I should dispute the charges. Will look into it. Bye

Location: The parking can be a bit sparse but there is one metered street parking in front and a few short term parking spots. Otherwise, there is residential street parking and a couple of parking lots nearby (I'm not sure if it's customer only parking tho). Her space is cozy and clean. I felt comfortable and at ease (definitely fell asleep). Service: She had great communication and made me feel very comfortable and happy to be there. She asked what look I was going for and walked me through her process which made me trust her. I'm happy I did because my lashes look great! My lashes feel so light but have the full and lush look I was hoping for. Her pricing is very fair especially for the work she does. I was surprised that they were open on Labor Day. I booked my appointment online, the process was simple and straightforward. I appreciate that their website has all the information you need from services to pricing - it leaves no room for surprises like at other salons. I was especially drawn to this specific salon for its quiet and lowkey vibes. I easily get overwhelmed at nail salons but this one was different- the staff was very welcoming and the salon vibes were very chill and relaxing - very inline with the Venice Beach vibe! I booked " The Works Pedicure" and it was great! I especially like the fact that they don't use harsh UV lights to dry the polish, the pedicure is air dried. I had no problem with the drying (perfect time to relax) , they also offer "Dazzle Dry" polish for an additional $10 if you do want your polish to dry faster. My pedicure looks great and my feet look refreshed. The main entrance to the salon sits on Glyndon Ave off of Venice. There is plenty of street parking in the surrounding streets. If you're looking for chill and mellow vibes, then this is the salon for you! I am Looking forward to coming back soon- I think I finally found my local go-to salon!

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Unexpected Charges and Lack of Transparency…read more I booked my appointment in person on Tuesday 7/15 because I wasn't sure what to select online for Gel-X removal. I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

I was looking for a good quality manicure and pedicure place and I found it! I was tired getting poor service at my nearby salons and finally I found my happy place for all my beauty needs. Great products, last longer then others, big selection of colors and can do any complexity of nail designs. Offers coffee or tea while waiting to be checked in, easy booking and payment process. Can't recommend enough this place! I'm getting compliments on my nails all the time. Huge thank you to the team that is doing their best to satisfy their clients! P.s. they have free complimentary parking in the back, so no more headaches if you have to drive there. read more
