This is a small local sushi place located at the beginning of the Trans-Amazonian Highway (BR-230). We visited for lunch and it wasn't busy. Their prices are really inexpensive and they make some attractive sushi and some, not so much. I was surprised by one item in particular--the "sushi burger". The bun is made of a panko-crusted, fried patty of sushi rice, which is split and filled with your choice of seafood. The idea was very different, and it didn't look that bad, but I didn't care for it.
Unfortunately, they don't have a lot of variety of fish available, and they didn't have any sake (gasp!), but that is to be understood as it seems that they are still building a customer base. Hopefully, they will improve, but that is not to say that it´s bad. I would definitely give them another try. read more
