Vicki has the best hanging baskets in the valley hands down! I have always gotten my wife and my mother one for Mother's Day and have had the hanging baskets last till November. It was my first time going and eent there to get strawberry roots and got scolded by the owner for not asking a worker to get them out for me. There was no sign saying to ask a worker to pick them out, but was treated like it was my fault. I apologized for the event but she was having none of it. I have been in the tree and land scape profession for over twenty years now. So I don't have time to return product that I refuse to put my name on. In my opinion, Vicki's has always had the healthiest most vigorous plants and trees. That I know will grow well what ever the planting conditions. Not to mention the excellent variety to choose from. I can get nearly everything I need with one stop. Oh, and don't forget. Vicki has more experience and knowledge than most county extention agents in area. The owner of this beautiful country store is anything but beautiful! I went in to her store the other day and asked her if she had any Angel Wing Begonias, she didn't say hello, or how can I help you, she didn't even smile....she just shook her head no. I always try to give my business to local companies first, but instead I ended up having to go to Lowes for my gardening needs. I would have spent a lot of money in her store that day if she just would have been friendly and treated me like a human being. This is not how businesses should be treating their customers.
