A charming slice of England right here in town! Victoria Pub & Grill absolutely nails the English pub vibe--from the cozy ambiance to the hearty, well-crafted food. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. My wife was thrilled to find a vegetable Wellington on the menu--something she's never seen before--and she loved every bite. I went with the classic fish and chips, and it was spot on: crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience. If you're ever craving some authentic English comfort food, this place should be at the top of your list. We'll definitely be coming back!

Good place depending on who is going. Great pub vibe with restaurant on the side. It was a little loud but doable. The food is good but definitely pub food. The fish and chips were great! Lots if beautiful white, flaky cod. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. An abundance of chips (fries) that were also good. Well cooked on the outside and soft on the inside with good flavor. The Vegetable Wellington (for the vegetarian in the group) was disappointing. The veggies tasted good but for the money it was silly. They took the same veggies they served on any plate, wrapped them in pastry dough, underbaked it and served it with a subpar cheese sauce (thank goodness it was ordered on the side). I guess I was expecting some olives or a tapenade inside like the original Wellington. Our vegetarian had to skip eating the mash potatoes because they had butter and cream in them but that may have improved the the flavor of the dish as the replacement veggies were exactly the same as the veggies inside the Wellington. The brown gravy was awesome! Grilled tri tip dish was very good. A little dry but still good and very tender for our carnivores. They got veggies on the side which were good (same veggies as the Wellington lol). The tri tip nachos were the best deal on the table. Lots of everything and the tri tip was abundant. It was piled high and the tri tip was tender and cut i to small pieces. I like this place for hanging out and meeting friends. I would return for the fried fish and the nachos. The service was outstanding. Amber was the absolute best!!

Went here on a whim for lunch and man it didn't disappoint. The server was fast, polite, and my coke was never empty. I ordered the fish and chips and was shocked with how much food came. I was even more shocked by how delicious the food was. I will 100% be back for another meal.

This place has an amazing happy hour with a great selection of beers. They also have a 3 for $17 menu with many choices such as grilled mushrooms and chicken wings. My veggie pie with mashed potatoes was amazing and my friends loved their sandwiches and the bangers and mashed. Plenty of TVs with multiple games on make this a fun place to hang out.

Fantastic pub in the area! Really great prices for a full meal, full bar, great atmosphere. Our server was super attentive, quick food service. Couldn't ask for anything better, will definitely be returning!

The food here is super good! And the people that work here are lovely. They have the best nachos! They make their own salsa, that I get a large side of when ordering them. The cheesy garlic bread is amazing. Also, if you happen to be here on a salmon day, get it!!!! The atmosphere is Always chill place with cool people.

    First time here!

You've really gotta try the Strawbanero (Strawberry-Habanero) sauce, as it was a sweet and savory bite that had all three of us fighting over. * Buffalo Barrels (aka Tater Tots) were worth the $5 upgrade. But, I'm somewhat of a Tater Tot junkie, so take that advice for what it's worth. * Fries were fantastic, as well. * Short Rib Melt was delicious, but very, very rich. It could've used a little relief like some pickles either on it or on the side. The Meh: * They do have their own parking lot, but it is smallish and can fill up fast. There is some street parking available, as well. No matter which Topa you walk into, you see familiar faces. There is a real sense of family there, and I would hate to lose that. The Thompson location specifically feels like home. When I lost someone very near and dear to me, Topa became a place where I could breathe again. On the worst days, walking through those doors made things feel just a little lighter. Sometimes it felt like I was holding my breath all day until I got there. There is a steady comfort in that space. Mama mia, that kind of place is rare. I have definitely "invested" ;) my fair share into the pool table and the pinball machine. Trivia nights with the awesome host, the food pop ups, Nicks Smash Burgers and Ramos Tacos are the best. Being introduced to new bands and almost always leaving a live show with a vinyl or CD by the end of their set. It truly is a community. Supporting local artists and seeing the same people show up for each other over and over again is part of what makes it special. And the beer is unreal. I was never much of a beer person, but a few years ago they pulled me in with Moo Bae then the Althlone Ranger, and then the 4 and 20. My current favorite is The Tux. Every time I go in, that is what I get. I loved when they had more dark beers too. Topa Topa opened the door for me into the craft beer world without ever feeling intimidating. Once you find a place where you feel appreciated and respected, where you feel known, you do not want to lose that. A huge part of that for me is seeing my regular beer tenders, Mike, Lea, Marie, and Zion. They are part of what makes walking through those doors feel like coming home. The Thompson location is that kind of place. Really messed up what you did. EDIT- This is nothing against the newer employees of Topa, but has everything to do with corporate. What were you thinking getting rid of 15% of your staff? The people that have helped build the foundation of your brand. The people that build the individual personalities of each taproom. The people that we have gotten to know and they've gotten to know us. Like I said before Topa is a family. I get that the craft beer scene is getting smaller but getting rid of family is so dumb. Your regulars have developed a relationship with these people. It's so disheartening to go now. When we go we aren't greeted by these friendly faces that know us. You'd think you'd focus more on your regulars you know the people that actually spend money here rather than the "next generation". Like I said, this has nothing to do with the new workers. They're nice. But the people we've developed relationships could NEVER be replaced. The lovers of topa topa do not like this. And I've already seen on Reddit people are saying they aren't going back.

I usually order a flight so I can try a few different things, especially their special release beers. Two favorites I've loved during special releases are the Ojai Pixie Citrus IPA and Harvest Swoon Sangria-Style Sour. Both are super flavorful without being overwhelming. The Ojai location has a relaxed, welcoming vibe and shares the space with Little Sama, which makes it an easy place to hang out. They also host community events like trivia nights on Tuesdays, which adds to the fun. A great spot whether you're really into craft beer or just enjoy a casual drink in a laid-back Ojai setting.

My breakfast sandwich was as you imagined an egg sandwich to be. Cooked egg, 2 slices of bacon with aioli sauce on a toasted brioche bun. I got a side of hash-browns instead of fries. I would have preferred my hash browns to have a bit of a crisper crust but they were bad. My friend substituted sweet potato fries for the regular fries. The service was pretty good. Our waitress did check on us once our food arrived but didn't bother to refill our waters at all during our meal. I loved the low key vibe of the place. At least the patio seating. Just as we were about to leave there was a large party coming in which was a reserved table because we saw "reserved signs on it" and I heard the waitress asked how many dogs were there and the said 3.
