Spend an ungodly portion of your trip at sleazy motel coin washes for which the efficiency is at best questionable? 3. Bring one outfit, then buy and dispose as you go? 4. Have a willing (and available) friend/relative do the deed? 5. The ever nebulous "Other"? While we were still in Dublin, I had looked into the hotel's valet service, but at about E6 for a pair of socks, I elected to continue my search. Upon arriving at Galway, we consulted the internet, found the Launderland just a block away, and found that they washed and dried up to 7.5KG for E10. Sounds like a deal. As we had a full day planned, I moseyed over when they opened with my bag, inquired what needed to be done (which was essentially come back and collect, and of course, pay). Couldn't be more simple. I returned near closing time after our long day trudging the streets of Galway, presented my ticket, and received everything we had given the establishment, and nothing more. We spent around 24 euros for all of that laundry which was amazing considering the prices that our hotel was going to charge. The first thing I noticed was the staff was friendly but more importantly, Shannon listened to me. He then started having me try on different shirts and pants. And while I tried on clothes went looking for more with my wife. Once we found the pants the tailor measured me and walked me through a fitting for each pants. The friendliness and expertise gets them to a 4. They get a 5 because while the pants totally were correctly tailored when I wore them real world the length was a tad long. They took them back and shorten them no question ask and no charge. They are definitely not cheap but then the lines of clothes they carry aren't cheap Tommy Bahama, Robert Graham, Cole Haan, etc. So if you need that GQ look there is no better place I know of in the Austin Area.
