I went into to this location on today to purchase the 10/40$ underwear and a bra. As I'm a Victoria's Secret credit card holder so I shop the retailer frequently all while using my credit card to earn rewards and take advantage of the offers. I was met today with horrible customer service from both managers of the location. The store associate from the onset of my interaction was pleasant however, I voiced my concern due to utilizing a credit card reward, a gift card, and my credit card which would have made my final purchase amount less than what was being provided or left over for me to pay using another form of payment. Instead of the manager apologizing that the total was incorrect and some of the above mentioned discounts weren't applied they both continued to imply as though I was incorrect and not apologize about the error that the register was computing. I asked for the manager's name because I advised that I was contacting customer service regarding the horrible customer experience she advised oh just tell them that it was the manager on duty and that she doesn't provide her name to anyone. As I didn't ask her to provide her full name but just a first name she still refused. I then turn to the original associate and ask for her name and advised that I would like to provide kudos to her because she was helpful but, she too refused to provide her name (why would she not if I was speaking positively) The manager's on duty provided poor leadership today in the presence of customers and their team by not providing names and poor service. I will NEVER shop this location again! As my dollars matter especially in this economy! The managers should know that employment and dollars in this economy matter! The way that you treat customers matters. A simple apology goes a long way. I wasn't argumentative, upset, or irate. What I wanted was to pay the correct amount, take my merchandise, and go. Shame of Victoria's Secret for even employing staff who take on the attitude that an apology to a customer is a problem when an error occurs. I will leave this review on every review outlet that I can to advise everyone to know not to shop this location. Go to the Orange Park location. No foot traffic means no hours and less in your paycheck since you this staff is unable to treat customers with respect and dignity. read more

Store is more concerned with policing mask wearing and occupancy than with helping customers. Struggled for ten minutes to find size for a specific bra...no one around to help. Then, fitting rooms are closed. No one available for fitting. Ended up buying 2/3 bras the wrong size because I pulled from a drawer incorrectly marked and didn't realize it. This is my favorite VS store in Jacksonville. Not only is it really large (I'm pretty sure it's the largest we have), but they tend to have all the items in stock that I'm looking for. Now I'm a bigger girl, so I can't wear their bras, panties, or clothes, but I absolutely LOVE their perfumes, colognes for men, body mists, totes, and ball caps. Yes, I even have a few of their ball caps, and I don't even want to talk about how many of their totes I own. My favourite perfumes in no particular order are: Love, Tease, Bombshell Nights, and Bombshell New York. I have all of these in the large bottles with a backup bottle; I also have roller balls for all of these, and for Love and Tease I have several of the 1oz bottle of each (purposefully bought because I can take them on a plane). My husband has both of the colognes they offer and we absolutely can't pick a favourite. He uses them both equally. Of all the colognes he's used in the nearly 14 years we have been together, these two colognes are, by far, our favourites! As for the totes, some of them are made from real quality material and they are large enough for a weekend getaway. Customer service here is above and beyond. I have always been treated with courtesy and a smile. The employees have never rushed me and have always made sure I've found everything I needed. The manager here is awesome too! I also shop online a lot at VS and there have been a few exchanged I've needed to do here are the store. I've just brought the item in with the receipt and they have either exchanged it refunded my VIP Angel Credit Card with no problem. Easy peasy! And don't forget the semi-annual sales. This past December I got a couple of perfume gift boxes for less than $20. They each came with a large perfume, lotion, candle, and body mist. I really like this Victoria Secret store. They have more products than most stores I have visited. Plus the space is modern and hip. Lots of dressing rooms for trying on pretty girly things. There is always someone available to help if you can't find what you are looking for and if you need a different size you can push the button in the dressing room and someone will come and help you. One thing I noticed that was a annoying was the sizes of the nighties were mostly all small, extra small and medium. I'm not sure if they sold out of all the largers or just don't carry many items in large. My visit today was close to Valentine's Day so the line was 15 or more deep when I went to check out. In the stores defense they had all the resisters open. It wasn't good timing on my part coming so close to Valentine's Day. read more

Went here last weekend and found out they are on sale. Underwear, bras and lotions! Really good deals! I was trying to find my bra size but they don't have it. I asked the sales lady just to be sure but she went further and took my measurements! She said I've been wrong with my size! She then assisted me to the dressing room and proceeded to help me by providing the bras I wanted to try! Too bad they are not on sale but at least I now know my exact size. I haven't patronized a "brick & mortar" Victoria's Secret store in YEARS. Mainly because I rarely go to a *mall*, but also partly because I feel like the associates are overly friendly while trying to be helpful, and I really enjoy avoiding human interaction by shopping online. But, on this Sunday afternoon, visiting my son in Jacksonville, he suggested going to St John's Town Center to take advantage of the Pokémon Go Community Day event. And then his girlfriend, who'd rode with us from Tampa, mentioned a clearance sale at VS. Thus a plan was hatched for our Sunday afternoon. After being greeted, we were allowed to browse freely at our leisure. My shopping partner was on the same page as me, and we headed straight to the clearance area. While loading up on bras, we asked the nearby helpful associate to measure us (I think her name was Angela). Lo & behold, I had been wearing the wrong size! Maybe this happens to ladies as we get older & gain weight in different areas, but I am so glad I now know my current bra size! Michaela (sp?) was working the fitting rooms that day, and helped me after my measuring. She even remembered my name when I returned 20 minutes later with more items to try on. It seems when I'm shopping in earnest, I appreciate the attention! Unfortunately, the fitting rooms had a line, but it moved fairly quickly & gave me time to sort through my bag & discard inadvertent duplicates. Overall, my experience at this Victoria's Secret was excellent. I purchased three new bras! And, in spite of a short wait to check out, I was delighted to receive an extra $5 off of each item when I was paying. read more

This lady walks in goes around to the left and the cashier takes her! I'm literally standing here like why was that allowed? Now I'm stuck behind the woman who skipped me with her dog. This is a somewhat larger than average Victoria's Secret in a nice mall in a nice location in Jacksonville. This is a good place to come without the crazy crowds of the mall. They employees are pretty much friendly and it's never too crowded in there. Just a note, the clerk told me today that the fantasies line of fragrance which happens to be my favorite is being discontinued as of the beginning of October so they are all on sale for $5 now regular $14. They always have a good selection of panties and other undergarments designed to make you feel special. It's good to splurge on yourself once in a while! read more

This store is large, well organized and neat. I did not buy anything from here because I did not know I had to return my Pink backpack to the actual Pink Store and not any VS store. So this post/review may be shorter than most, due to the fact that I did not spend much time in there, HOWEVER, I am giving this store a 4-Star and not a 5-Star because for one, the staff here didn't seem as friendly as the Pink Store and I like to see a store inviting to all cultural backgrounds because I am of a mixed culture, meaning, if you are going to put 20 pictures on your wall, at least be ethnically versatile. Yes, VS, I did see ONE small 5x7 picture of an olive-skinned model in the middle, but it was engulfed by all the poster-sized models who were not as olive-skinned, if you know what I mean. At least show some diversity in an area as large as Jacksonville and in a store as popular as VS! VS is loved by all shades of ethnic backgrounds so walking into the store I should see at least one picture of a model who is a slightly darker shade. read more

Omg I'm never coming back here to this location to return anything. This lady I'm dealing with is rude and if she was paying attention to what she was scanning then maybe I wouldn't be waiting up here forever to get my return corrected. She ends up scanning the wrong bag for a sleep shirt I was returning and scanned a bag for a PJ set I was intending on keeping for a Christmas gift. Yes I get it, I chose to come here to return some items on Christmas Eve but the girl who was doing my return didn't have to be so rude about it! She should be thanking me because I saw an error she made and said something about it! They're more concerned about policing the six feet apart rule and wearing your mask than actually assisting customers and what not and it makes it harder to buy things when the fitting rooms are STILL CLOSED!! I get it they're trying to adhere to CDC guidelines but they should at least be more helpful in providing better customer service! Just saying. read more

Who seriously doesn't love this place??? Of course walking in I was greeted by friendly staff who immediately made sure I didn't need any help locating something specific or have any questions. This trip was only spent browsing and seeing what was new. The store was very clean and organized as always so everything was easy to find. They also had a good deal going when I went which of course I couldn't help but take advantage of. Not sure if it's the norm but for the time that we went there wasn't too long of wait in line and for the time that we were there a lady was nice enough to joke around with us which made the visit that much better. If you are looking for a new fragrance to try you can't go wrong with the Bombshell brand. Bombshell Summer would be my favorite but all of them smell just as great. Also they tend to have a lot of sales surrounding their body mists and other popular fragrances as well. Warm & Cozy smells amazing --PINK fragrance...you're welcome ;) I'll definitely be back and looking for new items to add to my growing collection. read more

I have to say that this location is not my favorite location to go to. I personally prefer the location in the Avenues but thats for another review. This store is very big. So big that it can be difficult to find what you are looking for. They are always limited on the larger sizes and while the staff is friendly enough, they never seem to really be around to help when you need them. I waited near the dressing room for over 5 minutes and while staff just walked by and ignored me i finally had to physically bring someone with me towards the dressing room. The checkout process can get a bit annoying. They have displays seperating the registers but they still prefer one big line but there is no sign anywhere saying that they prefer this style of line forming. overall if i can go to the avenues location i will but will continue to go to this one every now and then because of convenience. read more

I was stopped from going into the fitting room with my girlfriend. I've been to 30+ stores across America and never experienced this discrimination from a fitting roam associate. Her explanation was that me being in the fitting room with her would be a risk because there are other ladies changing in adjacent fitting rooms. Yet she allowed me to sit at the entrance where I could see customers entering and leaving the rooms. This happened on 3/10/2019 at 5:10 pm. The fitting room attendant didn't consider that the person paying would be able to convince the person to purchase clothing they otherwise would put back on the shelve. read more

A while ago, I went in to buy some lingerie for a date. I don't normally go to Victoria's Secret but I found something I really liked online. When I walked in the door I was bombarded with help. It was nice at first until it was too much. I believe it was the store manager (Michelle?) that was hounding me the whole time about a credit card. She followed me to check out and again hounded me about the credit cards, after I had told her numerous times that I didn't want a credit card ! Stephanie checked me out. After I was checked out she put extra information about the credit cards and tried to convince me to put her name down when I made the said credit card. Ugh where do I begin... Victoria's Secret never has my size since I'm an xl in panties so even though I get coupons in the mail that entice me to go there, I can't use them. They simply don't carry that in stores, online only. It's harder than h*ll to find my bra size in stores too. Of course they'll order it for me, blah blah blah. I can do that from home. I looked online as well because right now they have deals on bralettes/sport bras and a certain pink bra that is $60 for 3. Well, I can't take advantage of that either! Why? Well, because VS is much like A&F in that they don't want women of a certain size (anything not anorexic like their models) to wear their stuff. So those bras only go up to a L no XL, and no 38DD either in many. There's a reason their sales have decreased so much and why they cut back on swim and clothing. They market to only certain sizes and project an image that is unhealthy for young girls to look up to. I struggle to understand the logic, or lack thereof... That the staff and floor managers have here. There are 5-6 employees on the floor running around but not really doing anything. Yet there is a 15-20 min line at the register with no concern being shown by any of the managers. Almost every person in line and in the store was annoyed and nothing was done to make it better or improve the experience and cut the waiting time for those in line. To whom it may concern, I am writing due to an incident that happened today at the St. John's Town Center Victoria Secret. Let me first start by saying that I have been a loyal customer for years and have a credit line with them right at $2000.00. I went into the store on April 19, 2016 at approximately 5:05 p.m. to look at and try on bathing suits. I took my selected merchandise to the fitting room where one of the associates rushed over from the west of the store and counted my garments without saying the number aloud and let me in the dressing room. When I went to leave the dressing the same associate rushed over again and grabbed all of my garments before I could completely say that none of them had worked for me. I then went over to another associate to inquire about where the underwear was that I could use to redeem my cardholder coupons. The associate acted very surprised that I asked for this and demanded to see the coupon first which I have never seen done to other customers. This particular employee would not even let me pick out my merchandise and selected a pair of underwear for me and handed it to me, which is not how other customers were treated in the store. Finally, I approached the counter to check out with my undergarments and coupon when the first associate from the fitting room came over to the counter and loudly asked why hadn't I given her back all of the swim garments. I informed the associate that I had given her all the garments I tried on and she insisted loudly that I had not. I stated to her again that I had given her everything I tried on. She then proceeded to pull out a sensor and told me that she found "this" in the dressing room. I informed her that I do not steal and opened up my purse to show her. She repeated again that I was missing a garment. I told the cashier to forget the complimentary panties I earned as a cardholder and I told the associate that I have $2000.00 credit card with the company and I do not have to shoplift to purchase anything in the store. After the incident I called the manager and informed her of the incident. The manager stated that the employee handled it the way Victoria Secret wants it handled, which was disputed by a customer service representative at the call center. I informed the manager that I was "African-American" and I feared that the incident could have been racially motivated due to the experience I also had with the other associate not allowing me to select my own merchandise as other customer's were allowed. The manager, Angela, replied that I have the option to have that opinion but money is money and she has seen several "black" customers. This was offensive in my eyes as well being that I had previously referred to myself as African American. The manager also stated that I did not keep my purse open long enough and that I did not give the associate back all of the garments although neither employee was able to tell me how many the fitting room associate had originally counted. Finally, this incident was embarrassing and has made me feel uncomfortable with shopping at not only this store but also Town Center in general due to the possibility of racial profiling even when I have a very healthy credit line and relationship with the company. I have reached out to my local news station that I will interview with and I have a relationship with a previous law professor who has advised me on my high probability of a successful defamation of character lawsuit given the circumstances. read more

If you are in need of a bra fitting, Kayliah is your girl to see. She spent at least 30 minutes with me finding the right bras that fit well, made me feel comfortable and confident. She was more than happy to go back and forth to find the right size, right fits and listened to me. I can't say enough good things about her. I've been to many VS in many states and by far she is #1. I was in VS about a month ago and I had the best experience with on of their associates by the name of Ronneshia (I hope I spelled it correctly). I never really shop for really nice intimates and she was so personable and help me through the whole process from beginning to end. Awful customer service with attitude. We were greeted at the door, than it went down hill from there. That girl was busy with someone else, so we approached another salesperson. My daughter needed a strapless bra for her prom dress. We asked Miss Helpful and she showed us one style, strongly suggested the nude one under the black dress. She asked if she knew her size, I said not really. Didn't offer to size her, she had a tape measure around her neck. I guess it was a prop. Than she walked away. We stood there looking for someone else. The first girl came back, helped us a bit. Got us a dressing room. And than she was done with us. Whoever the manager is should be held accountable for her horrible staff. The cashier was not very friendly either. Awful experience. One bra, underwear, and lotion - $100 later we walked out fairly annoyed with our shopping experience. For that kind of money Victoria's Secret should be stepping it up not driving the customer away.
